I Cast Forbidden Spells Until the World Breaks-Chapter 73 Immortality Only Works Inside the Realm
Zayne’s expression turned a little strange.
If Garen tried to deal with him outside, Zayne would still have to hold back. He would need to worry about exposing things he should not.
But inside the Champion Secret Realm?
Zayne could only say this was the strangest request he had ever heard.
Inside the Champion Secret Realm, everyone had an immortal body.
That meant Zayne could use Forbidden Spells without any restraint.
To put it modestly, even if all the champions inside were tied together, they might not be enough for him alone.
As Garen finished his threat and turned to leave, Eva spoke to Zayne with some embarrassment.
"Sorry. I dragged you into trouble."
"It is fine. This is not your fault."
Zayne paused, then asked, "How do you know her? Why does she bite people the moment she shows up?"
"She is my sister."
Eva sighed.
"Technically, my half sister. My dad’s second wife gave birth to her."
"Since we were kids, she has hated everything about me. She compares everything. Class rank. Skill quality. Gear. Looks. Figure."
"She was scared that if we joined the same city’s college entrance trial, I would squeeze her out. So she had my dad pull strings and send her to a small city for the trial."
"No idea how it happened, but she met Garen there. After that, she started acting all high and mighty in front of me."
Eva sounded helpless.
"So this Garen is really strong?" Zayne asked.
"Very strong."
Eva nodded seriously.
"He is a genius himself. The Owens family behind him is even scarier."
"In Bitnoris, the Owens family is one of the top powers."
By the time the meal ended, Eva’s mood was clearly low.
She had wanted to treat Zayne to apologize.
Instead, Zayne ended up offending Garen and Leah.
That only made her feel more guilty.
Zayne did not take it to heart.
When he returned to the hotel, the door had already been repaired.
He lay down on the bed and fell asleep immediately.
Early the next morning, someone knocked on his door.
Zayne thought it was Lilith’s people coming to announce the opening of the Champion Secret Realm.
When he opened the door, he saw piles of food stacked outside.
Colorful packaging and rich aromas instantly filled the hallway.
Zayne blinked, staring at the scene in confusion.
Had food evolved now?
Did food knock on doors these days?
As he stood there puzzled, a pink head popped out from the pile.
"Eva?"
"What are you doing?"
Zayne was completely confused.
"Hehe."
Eva looked awkward and apologetic.
"We will be staying in the Champion Secret Realm for a month."
"I could not think of anything else to give you, so I bought a lot of food."
"That way you will not go hungry in the realm."
She spoke softly, with a hint of expectation in her eyes.
Zayne laughed helplessly.
He did not refuse her kindness and accepted all the food.
When Eva saw that he did not reject it, she smiled. Her eyes curved like crescents.
Time passed quickly.
On the morning of Zayne’s third day in Bitnoris, Lilith appeared again in high heels.
This time, she was not the focus.
She held a registration clipboard and followed respectfully behind a man in a suit.
"You are Zayne, right?"
"I am Robert, the person in charge of this realm."
"The Champion Secret Realm is about to open. Please gather downstairs in ten minutes."
The man smiled politely.
Zayne nodded.
He packed quickly, stuffed all the food Eva bought into his backpack, and left the room.
As soon as he reached the plaza downstairs, Eva ran over with a massive bag on her back.
The size of the bag looked completely mismatched with her body.
It drew plenty of attention from nearby men.
If Zayne had not seen how Eva fought, he might have been fooled by her silly, cute appearance too.
Quite a few people had already gathered in the plaza.
Every one of them carried a steady aura.
Zayne estimated that no one here was below level 12.
At that moment, he felt a cold gaze on him.
He turned his head and, as expected, saw Garen.
Surrounded by others, Garen made a provocative gesture at Zayne, arrogant to the extreme.
Zayne ignored him and looked away.
Under the lazy morning sunlight, Robert appeared again with a warm smile.
"Good morning, champions."
"I am the person in charge of the Champion Secret Realm."
"Before we begin, there are a few things I need to explain."
"First, as you all know, under the rules of the realm, you will have immortal bodies inside the Champion Secret Realm."
"However, this immortality only works inside the realm."
"So if you suffer a fatal injury, remember this."
"Do not leave the realm."
"I will station five healer class awakeners above level 50 at the exit."
"If you suffer a fatal wound, you must receive treatment before leaving."
"Otherwise..."
Robert did not finish the sentence.
Everyone understood what he meant.
Leaving without treatment meant real death.
"Second, if you lose an arm or a leg, remember to bring the severed limb with you."
"Reattaching a limb is much easier than regrowing one."
"And regenerated limbs are not always as good as the original."
"Third."
Robert’s expression turned serious.
"Do not let monsters swallow you."
"If you are swallowed and fully digested, even with immortality, that experience will not be pleasant."
Many faces changed slightly.
Being chewed apart in a monster’s mouth.
Dissolved by stomach acid stronger than sulfuric acid.
Then expelled through intestinal movement.
All while remaining conscious and unable to die.
Just imagining it made people shudder.
"Finally, I suggest forming simple teams."
"Inside the Champion Secret Realm, monsters as high as level 35 may appear."
"Teamwork will be safer."
"You are all champions from your respective cities."
"You are rare talents and the future pillars of Aurelion."
"I sincerely hope that all of you return safely."
Robert then shouted lightly, "Open the teleportation array."
As soon as his words fell, a massive teleportation array activated behind him.
Violent spatial fluctuations made many eyes sharpen.
This was clearly the entrance to the Champion Secret Realm.
"You now have twenty minutes to find suitable teammates."
"Of course, if you are confident enough, you may choose to solo."
