Alex POV:

To get the lewd task and not getting any rejection from the other party was something I’m enjoying now to the fullest, and cherry on the top being the playboy Eddie expressions.

I was just looking at Kathryn as she suddenly stood up, her mobile phone rang and she picked it up, and the way she was just saying ’yes’ ’I will be there shortly’ and ’I’m just leaving okay!’ I knew she was preparing to leave, but why was I not sad or anything in this rejection, well because it wasn’t a rejection.

When I got this task, and when everyone was distracted enough, she was typing something on her phone as she tilted it a little bit to show me what was written on it.

It was a message for me, where she typed that ’let’s meet outside and not here, I’m gonna fake a call and will go outside saying to others that something came up and you will offer to accompany me. Okay?’

And just like that Kathryn after giving some vague responses on the phone hung up the phone and then called out to everyone.

"Really! That would be helpful, I’m sorry guys for this let me treat you next time for going this suddenly. Alex if you would hurry... I have to go home fast."

"Y-yes no problem." I said as I stood up and began to leave with Kathryn.

Kellie and Eddie tried to say something, "h-hey wait..."

But before they could even finish that we Kathryn and I were already outside the room, Kathryn was huffing as she could control something with her whole hand on the wall.

She left the room so fast that nobody was able to ask or say something fully to Kathryn. But Laurel was smiling when I glanced back one last time before the door could close fully.

She winked at me at the very last moment like she knew something or maybe it wouldn’t be too strange from Kathryn’s behaviour and how she acted there in the room and Laurel already knew and even knew about the message Kathryn showed me.

After all, she was beside me the whole time. And my attention wasn’t on her when I was reading the message.

So, all in all she knows where we are going and what we are going to do.

Now we were outside and Kathryn’s breathing was now even more heavy as she even bent a little to take a little rest or something.
