Chapter 592: Soul Crystal Creation (2)

Crushing the soul crystal, Nash felt pure elemental power flow through his body.

Although it wasn’t aligned to a specific element, he felt it could hasten his elemental sublimation by a full day.

As he continued crushing soul crystals to accelerate his elemental sublimation, he felt his body filling to the brim.

Like a perfect primer, it didn’t just add to the energy he needed; it also accelerated the absorption of the specific element.

"It really can reduce the time I need by a day..."

After spending thousands of soul crystals, Nash confirmed its effectiveness.

Reducing sublimation time by a full day said everything about the Soul Crystal’s worth.

Nash could only wonder how effective it would be for others. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

If even he, who only needed a short week, could still feel the difference, how much more would it benefit those who needed months or years?

"I still need to reconfigure the [Control Module System]." Nash sighed.

Forming soul crystals was not easy.

If he did it himself, it would take ages to generate enough for his needs. Nash could only rely on the module system to automate the process and make it faster and more efficient.

However, before diving into optimizing the module, Nash decided to check on the progress of the various projects outside.

Calling Julius, whom he had asked to watch over things, he began to look forward to how much had changed while he was training.

---

"Commander, you called for me." Julius bowed in greeting.

Sensing that Julius’s strength hadn’t stagnated but had instead grown, Nash nodded in satisfaction.

"Not bad. It seems you haven’t neglected your training."

"As it should be." Julius shrugged.

Following Nash, he couldn’t afford to fall behind. Thus, in every free moment, he trained desperately to keep up.

Fortunately, with talent no less than those monstrous geniuses, Julius’s progress wasn’t far off from those cosmic elites.

"I called to ask about the progress of the Great Concealment Barrier Array. When do you think it can be completed?"

"Philosopher Cadence told me it should be finished in two years at the earliest or three years at the latest."

"That long? Did they run into problems?"

Since they were rushing, Nash had assumed it would take a year or two at most. Now it seemed it could take as long as three.

"It’s the dark beasts, Commander. Even though they’re scattered, they keep interfering with the sections already built." Julius sighed.

Clearing the dark beasts completely was impossible.

As long as dark energy existed, they would continue spawning from nothing.

As a result, they often had to repair what they had already finished, greatly slowing down the overall progress.

"I see. Then if they need more manpower or military support, approve it. Use soul essence as payment if needed."

Three years was just too long. Who knew what could happen in that time? It was better to have it finished in a year or so.

"I’ll relay it to the others."

With Nash willing to invest more resources, accelerating the pace shouldn’t be a problem.

"What about the Combat Tower? How is that progressing?"

"They’re still in the process of merging each virtual server. However, a layout was already created beforehand, so they just need to follow the template. It should be ready in a few months."

With a ready-made template, as long as the virtual servers were merged and recalibrated, it was only a matter of time.

"Then I look forward to it." Nash smiled, feeling a little restless.

Having grown used to the combat intensity of the Chronos Area, he missed the thrill.

Although the Combat Tower was a lower-grade imitation, being able to fight and test his strength against others was more than enough.

And since it was his own creation, he could modify it however he liked.

In the future, it could even be connected to other virtual servers, expanding his pool of opponents.

"What about the Mother Core Ship? Can they produce a Tier 6 battleship yet?"

"Negative, Commander. Most of our scientists are occupied by other projects. Few have been able to attend to the Mother Core Ship."

"What about Tier 6 items, at least? Is that still failing?" Nash asked with a frown.

If they couldn’t even produce Tier 6 items, he would have to step in himself.

"There has been some progress. For common Tier 6 technology, the Mother Core Ship can already produce it without much issue."

"That’s good." Nash nodded in relief.

With other concerns in mind, he continued asking Julius one after another: from the terraforming of each planet, the integration of the cosmic team alliances, army training and recruitment, the development of cosmic elites, and more.

Hearing that everything was progressing steadily without major problems, Nash smiled.

"Do you have any requests or suggestions?" Nash asked before dismissing him.

"Hmm. If possible, could the Commander create more Tier 5 industrial potion-making machines?"

"Isn’t that Joventus and the others’ job? Didn’t I already teach them how to build the industrial potion-making machine?"

"The ones they produce are of lower quality and can’t satisfy most of the cosmic elites." Julius shook his head.

With everyone racing to advance, lower-quality soul-relieving potions were no longer cutting it.

On top of that, Joventus and the others were experimenting with creating industrial machines for other potions, so their attention was divided.

"We also need more potion purification machines. One isn’t enough to meet everyone’s needs." Julius added.

For the cosmic elites alone, it might be sufficient. But including the general army and the people of the Sun Star Void Area, it was nowhere near enough.

"I see. I’ll look into it after I’ve finished my current project." Nash nodded reluctantly.

Building those industrial machines was too monotonous and repetitive that he felt lazy just thinking about it.

However, knowing everyone needed them, Nash had little choice.

It seemed that in the future, he would have to train more scientists and professionals.

They didn’t just need soldiers and fighters. They needed people who could build, create, and sustain, whether there was a battle or not.

Scientists and professionals could provide continuous support in a way soldiers simply couldn’t.

"It’s time to improve the education system in our territory..."
