I Can Contract Beauties-Chapter 250: Noble Prince
"Fuck! Catch that son of a bitch for me!" Valen’s furious roar echoed as his Crimson Hound’s sharp claws missed the silhouette once more.
Around him, there were already five or more human bodies lying in a pool of blood. Aside from that, the summoned beast of their crystal summoner had also died one after the other like live stocks.
The silhouette of a man, or whatever it was, has appeared and disappeared in front of them over and over again, each time it does so, blood would be spilled and life would be reaped.
"Show yourself if you dare motherfucker!"
Not only Valen, even his squad of mercenaries was already overcome with panic. The unknown shadow, reaping the lives of their comrades, rang fear through their hearts. What was more heart wrenching was the fact that even until now, they had still not managed to land a hit on the elusive figure.
"Underground! He’s underground!" One of them said with agitation.
The major problem that they had faced was not the strength of the enemy. Instead, it was its elusive ability of disappearing from their sight without a trace that made them helpless.
However, now that one of them pointed out his exact location and how he was able to disappear from their view, they would now be able to counterattack.
Or so they thought.
One the Crimson Mercenary members moved forward. His body was massive, to say the least. Wearing a tanktop just accentuated his build even more. He flexed his muscle to the fullest and slammed his fist wearing gauntlet to the ground in full force.
The others braced themselves for impact.
The ground trembled and shook violently, as if an earthquake had just suddenly occurred.
"There!"
No one knew who shouted, but all heads turned toward the location which the man was pointing to.
In that location, a shadowy figure slowly rose from beneath the ground.
Valen laughed wantonly upon seeing the figure. He knew that this was the bastard that killed many of his subordinates.
"Die! Crimson Hound, go!"
The Crimson Hound, a Level 2 Bronze Grade Beast was his pride and source of confidence. Valen had long forgotten the amount of foes it had vanquished and defeated. His Crimson Hound was the reason why he was able to stand tall amongst the mercenary squads in Blazing Expanse, and the reason why the famous Ironclad Mercenaries was not able to kill him even after multiple flights.
The Crimson Hound, taller than he was, threw a ball of fire toward the direction of the figure. The ball of fire was shot at extreme speed, but the fire it threw was not to attack the enemy.
"Fire Step!"
At that instant, the massive body of the Crimson Hound turned to flames, and at the next moment immediately arrived right behind the traveling ball of flames.
Even before the ball of flame could land on the enemy, the Crimson Hound has already lunged forward with its sharp claws planning to tear apart the elusive figure.
Valen smiled in delight as he saw the figure getting cut in half.
His smile, however, froze at the next moment, realizing that what the Crimson Hound had cut was not the figure itself.
"An illusion?" Valen frowned in annoyance, not expecting the bastard to disappear once more.
He glanced beneath, and to the towering figure that made the ground tremble earlier, as well as the one who discovered that the enemy was underground, trying to confirm if the bastard had escaped underground once more.
However, before any of them could respond, a figure suddenly appeared right in front of Valen’s eyes.
Valen’s face lost color in fright the moment he saw the face of the figure up close.
For the first time in his life, Valen felt horror reaching the deepest depths of his soul.

Appearing in front of the leader, Valen with a Flash Step, Miguel stared at the man with crimson hair and long scar on his face.
Seeing the scar as well as the well combed crimson hair, Miguel was suddenly reminded of a certain prince named Raphael—a friend from his past life.
That prince has always carried himself properly. He was genuinely kind and was a prince of the people.
A prince epitome of nobility and kindness, a figure beloved by both his people and allies. The humble prince who once helped him without asking something in return.
The resemblance of their hair as well as the scar that extended all the way to their cheek made Miguel recall Prince Raphael.
However, unlike the noble and gentle prince that loved to help the people, the man in front of him, although cowering in fear now, was instead full of unconcealed murder and bloodthirst.
He reeked the smell of blood and the air of arrogance that seethed through his bone was clearly seen by Miguel as he observed the leader of the Crimson Mercenary.
The contrast between the person in front of him as well as the noble prince from his past life made him boil in rage.
"How dare you try to resemble him with such a filthy character!"
Fury burning in his eyes, Miguel’s hands moved like snakes and immediately grasped the neck of the man, Valen, in front of him.
Holding him up, he did not wait for his beast to return, or for his subordinates to land an attack on him. He tightened his grip over his neck, and with the strength of Body Cleansing 7th Stage, or an equivalent to a Level 4 Gold Grade Beast.
Valen’s neck cracked as his body went limp after a little bit of struggle.
His Crimson Hound, preparing to assault Miguel, got disoriented and howled to the ground in pain, before it disappeared into a particle of lights.
As he dropped the dead body of Valen, Miguel swiftly took a hold of his grimoire and stored it inside his that he was hiding under his shirt from behind.
Looking around, Miguel calmed down and saw the terrified faces of the Crimson Mercenary members.
Previously, he wanted to have fun and let loose while killing the Crimson Mercenaries. Even if small, he would still be able to gain experience points from them, with a lot of them, the experience points would still add up to something substantial.
And he originally planned to kill all of them, at least, until he was reminded of the gentle and noble prince from his past life.
Looking around, Miguel surveyed with his Divine Sense and determined which of the remaining people reeked of the smell of blood and murder just like their leader, Valen.
Using Flash Step once more, Miguel continued his killing spree—in a restrained manner.
