Having read on the second floor, Miguel instantly realized the difference between this and the first floor.

For starters, the knowledge stored here was clearly more advance. It was guarded and stored securely and no one could easily read the contents of each book or information.

Second, the reading experience here was more amazing as it was very serene. The first floor had a lot of people loitering around and Miguel even needed to cast [Concealment Barrier] there just to not get disturbed by stray noises.

Here on the other hand, such experience could be neglected. Although there were still people loitering around, searching for books and information they wanted to obtain, it was subtle compared to the first floor. The people here were also more disciplined, they knew the rule of this place and the punishment for breaching it.

Miguel read books after books without getting interrupted with his special identity as a Guest Elder of the Red Family. The staff around did not dare disturb him as well knowing his identity.

After he read the last book, Miguel and the two finally decided to call it a day.

Even though it was only a day of reading here in the second floor, Miguel felt that the information and knowledge he gained here was much more compared to the one’s he gained from the first floor.

This showed how advance knowledge here was. It was not strange why the Red Family decided to put these books and informations behind a ’paywall’.

Perhaps not only them, the other forces might also have the same system set up in their organization.

After reporting to Carmen, the three of them went out of the Red Family.

The sun had already set, as the artificial lights were light up around them.

In the distance, a familiar figure entered Miguel’s vision.

Without waiting for the other party to come forward, Miguel, sensing the subtle movements, decided to approach on his own.

It has been a while since Erika had come to see him.

Due to the fact that he planned to lay low, he ordered Erika to do the same as well. His only order was for her to continue investigating the bandits. This was to make everyone think that they did not know anything about the ’mastermind’.

Having read the letter beforehand, Erika was sure what made Miguel react this way.

"How should we deal with this?" She asked worriedly upon seeing Miguel’s intense reaction.

Miguel forcefully calmed his emotions down as he handed the letter back to Erika.

"Is Gasper already aware of this?" He asked in return.

Erika thought for a moment before shaking her head.

"There is a high chance that he isn’t aware yet. I only received the letter earlier today. I immediately went to the library to report to you but after hearing that you went to the second floor, I could only wait outside and wait for you to come out," she replied with a wry smile on her face.

"As far as I know, Gasper had not exchanged letters with his mother for a few days. It is highly likely that he is not aware of her behavior," she added.

Miguel nodded his head in understanding.

"Make sure to tell him about this. Let him deal with his mother. If he can’t, I might need to return to Peach Village earlier than expected," he stated. A subtle threat was contained in his words.

Erilka understood the underlying meaning between his words and did not say anything else.

Apparently, Gasper’s mother, Carlota, after laying low for a few days, had started to act once again. It was reported that she was trying to oppress Miguel’s mother, Sara.

Even with Marcel trying to intercept it time and time again, Carlota just doesn’t seem to stop.

"Do not write back for the time being. Let one or two days pass before doing so. Tell your father that he must uphold his end of the deal," he added.

Erika nodded her head in understanding. She did not know the reason for the deal but she knew better not to ask too much questions.

In her mind, as long as she followed Miguel, they would eventually discover the hidden threat in the Red family.

Ever since knowing that threat, she had been obsessed and was not able to sleep for a few days trying to guess the identity of that person.

"Right, how is the investigation for the bandits? And do you already have the information of all the elders in the Red Family?"

"I am still trying to investigate the bandits openly, Gasper and the others are also doing the same. As for the identity of all the elders, I don’t want to rush it yet. But I already know some of them, but I heard that there are still more that are hiding in seclusion. Perhaps, only the branch leader and other elders knew of their existence," she explained.

Miguel nodded his head after some thought.

After she was done, Miguel nodded his head and asked if she had any problem regarding her training.

If it was before, Miguel would not have dared to ask such a thing. However, after reading some books in the first and second floor, Miguel was confident that he would be abel to answer most of her questions regarding summoners for the time being.

If it was before, Erika would have disdained such a question that came from someone who was ranked lower than her as a summoner.

However, knowing that it was Miguel, Erika did not act arrogantly and asked the troubles she had encountered during her training.

All the questions were just fairly simple for someone like Miguel. He was someone who came from another world, so his world view was much broader than the others.

Erika found the problems difficult to solve only because her thoughts were being limited due to her knowledge and narrow world view.

After Miguel answered her questions, though, she immediately expressed her gratitude to him and saying how thankful she was.

The elders in the Red Family don’t simply answer their questions, after all. If they want to, they can hire a senior, or an elder with points for them to clear their doubts. However, such things were not cheap and it was not everyday that an elder were available for such services.

Although Miguel was quite young, Erika believed in his capability and strength. As it was free consultation, she did not stand in the ceremony and asked all the doubts she had encountered.

After almost an hour, Erika was already preparing to leave when Miguel asked a question.

"How is your preparation for the opening ceremony competition tomorrow?"
