Because of the event that happened in Bakal Brothers Co., the companies under the Rising Dragon Group came to know about their new boss. Those who were involved in embezzling company funds in other subsidiaries took the initiative to step down from their position. They also returned the money they stole from the company funds.

The next day, Arlan received a message from Dr. Mariano that Fabian has regained consciousness. He immediately headed to the Lake View Villa after getting the message.

When he arrived at the workshop, he saw that Fabian was already taken out of the chamber. He was now lying on a bed, chatting with his wife and daughter. 𝚋𝚎dnov𝚎𝚕.𝚌om

"Boss!" The soldiers greeted him when they saw him.

Arlan walked towards Fabian and smiled at him. "It's good to see that you have recovered."

Fabian stared at Arlan with gratitude. "Thank you so much, Mr. Roa..." He no longer dared to call Arlan by his name. He thought that he would die given his injuries. He never thought that Arlan could actually bring him back from the gates of hell.

"There is no need to thank me." Arlan shook his head. It was because of him that Fabian was almost killed. He felt relieved now that he had recovered.

"Can you guys give us some privacy? I'd like to discuss something with Mr. Roa." Fabian muttered to his wife and daughter.

The mother and daughter pair immediately left after hearing his words.

"Mr. Roa, what happened to Diego?" Fabian asked in a low voice.

"He's dead." Arlan muttered coldly.

Fabian was stunned when he heard his words. He didn't dare ask how Diego died when he saw the look on Arlan's face. "What do you want me to do next?"

Arlan patted his shoulder and replied. "You have to recuperate first. Everyone knows that you are gravely injured. It would be too shocking if they find out that you have recovered in just a week. You will go with me to Forbes Park and pretend that you are still recovering."

Fabian didn't know what arrangements Arlan had prepared for him, but he still nodded his head. "I'll follow your arrangements."

"Go and talk with your family. You should know what to tell them." Arlan planned to train Fabian once the first Virtual Capsule was created. This guy knew how to use a gun, but he was still nothing compared to trained soldiers.

"Mr. Roa, about their safety..."

"You can rest assured. I'll send them somewhere safe and I'll ask my men to protect them." Arlan promised.

Fabian was relieved to hear that. His main concern was his family's safety. Now that he was deeply involved with Leandro's drug cartel, he was worried that his family would be implicated. With Arlan's protection, he felt assured.

After chatting with Fabian, Arlan searched for Winter. He found her in the new workshop which was located behind the old one. This new workshop was much bigger and there were also many soldiers ensuring its safety and privacy. Even Arlan's parents were not allowed to step inside.

Arlan also had a workshop in his new mansion in Forbes Park, but it was too inconvenient to transport all their equipment. In the meantime, they could only continue the project here in the territory.

"How is the project?" Arlan asked while looking at Winter. She was dressed in dark blue workshop clothes and her hair was tied in a ponytail. She was also wearing a pair of safety glasses and gloves.

"In the past few days, I taught these people to assemble the parts of the Virtual Capsule. They could already assemble the larger parts, but some parts require great precision and they are having difficulties in this area. I have already made one capsule, but I need more time to make the rest." Winter replied while taking off her safety glasses.

"You already made one?" Arlan was pleasantly surprised by her words.

"Follow me." Winter brought him towards a room and showed him the completed Virtual Capsule.

"It looks rough because this is still a prototype. Given enough time and manpower, I can gradually improve them." Winter muttered as she activated the Virtual Capsule. "Sit down and wear this. This device will put you to sleep and it will also connect to your brain." She handed him an item that looked like a futuristic helmet.

Arlan was filled with curiosity as he stared at the helmet. He then put it on his head before leaning on the recliner inside the Virtual Capsule.

He only got to know about Virtual Reality because he loves to watch sci-fi movies. He wondered if the experience would be similar to those portrayed in the movies.

As soon as he leaned on the comfortable recliner, Arlan saw a list of missions like those in war games. There were missions like saving a hostage, repelling a rebel army, and many more.

"You should see the mission details in front of you. The moment you select one, you will be transported into the Virtual World I created. I made it realistic enough for the soldiers to train their skills. With the help of the artificial intelligence I programmed, I managed to make an immersive virtual reality that can mimic all human senses. Just choose a mission and you'll know what I'm talking about." Winter said in a calm voice.

"Alright." Arlan selected a mission. The goal was to capture a group of escaping criminals. After he chose a mission, a number flashed on the screen that was projected by the helmet.

7...

Turns out that it was actually a timer. As the number decreased, Arlan gradually felt drowsy and when the timer hit the number '1', he felt as if he had been electrocuted.

The scene before him changed. He found himself standing inside a police station. The police officers around him were preparing their equipment.

"This is... the virtual world?" Arlan muttered in shock as he looked at the people around him. Everything felt so real. He could even hear his own breathing and feel the temperature inside the police station. He pinched his arm and felt an acute pain. "How did that woman create this world?"

Suddenly, someone bumped into him. "Hey! What are you standing there for? Hurry up and wear your equipment!"
