I Am the Sweetheart of Mr. CEO-Chapter 584 - 582: Throw Away
The two seemed unwelcome here.
"Oh! I’m sorry, Aunt Davis..." Vera smiled at her, "We didn’t mean to disturb you, we just came to give Uncle Leafcastle a bouquet of flowers and see him."
Vera was somewhat surprised by Liliana Davis’ appearance.
Seeing the low mood of the other woman, Vera didn’t say much else and just stepped forward to place the bouquet on Brandy Leafcastle’s tombstone.
"Then we’ll be leaving!"
Liliana Davis watched her place the bouquet in front of Brandy Leafcastle’s grave. Her fingers slightly tightened at her side, then she took a deep breath and relaxed her fingers again.
When she spoke again, her tone was much softer than before.
"I’m surprised you still remember your Uncle Leafcastle, thank you so much, Vera."
"You’re too kind, Uncle Leafcastle and my dad were good friends, he treated me so well, how could I not remember him, isn’t it the right thing to do?" Vera smiled back, "Well... we won’t disturb you anymore. We’ll be leaving first."
"Alright."
Liliana Davis responded gently.
Vera nodded in acknowledgment, walked over, and grasped Kris Cooper’s arm to leave together.
Watching the two gradually walk away, Liliana Davis looked at the bouquet Vera had placed in front of the tombstone, and the smile on her face gradually turned cold.
She stepped forward, bent down, picked up the bouquet, and threw it heavily to the ground.
"Throw it away!"
"Yes."
Linda stepped forward, picked up the bouquet, searched all around for a trash bin but couldn’t find one, then saw a cleaner coming over with a basket, and immediately went over and threw the bouquet into the person’s trash basket.
In front of the tombstone, Liliana Davis squatted down, arranged her own bouquet, and extended her fingers to gently stroke the man’s photo on the tombstone. Her fingers were incredibly tender.
"Brandy, Nathan and Sally are about to get engaged soon. I’ll arrange for them to come see you in a few days. Over these years, the kids haven’t fulfilled their filial duty to you, don’t blame me!"
In the photo, the man slightly lifted the corners of his lips, smiling silently.

On the mountain road.
Vera walked slowly forward and sighed as she started to speak.
"Sure enough, still a couple. I originally thought, after Uncle Leafcastle did such a thing, Aunt Davis would never forgive Uncle Leafcastle. Unexpectedly... she’s actually coming to see him."
Women are sentimental creatures, a day as a couple and a hundred days of grace, this kind of thing is nothing new.
"Did she ever visit him frequently before?" Kris Cooper asked casually.
"No." Vera shook her head, "When Uncle Leafcastle passed away, neither she nor her son came back. I told Brother Nathan the news, he cried and begged her, but Aunt Davis wouldn’t let him return. She even said, if he wanted her, he couldn’t have his father, which is why I find it strange."
Kris Cooper turned his face to look at the distant hillside.
A woman betrayed by her husband and divorced, taking her son far away, living such a harsh life, having resentment towards her husband is normal.
Yet she hated him so much before, she didn’t even attend the funeral. Now she’s come to visit and crying so sadly, which is quite abnormal.
"Sigh!" Speaking of this, Vera sighed again, "But honestly, I can’t quite understand. Uncle Leafcastle and Aunt Davis were always very affectionate before, and Uncle Leafcastle didn’t seem like that kind of person. You men, it’s hard to judge by appearance; some look honest but still cheat!"
Someone immediately defended himself, "Don’t include me, I haven’t." 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
