I Am the Strongest Femboy, So Stop Protecting Me!-Chapter 24: Dismantling Order.
The silence pressed in from all around him. Aris could feel the concentration of intent and mana starting to make his skin tingle.
Cacophony erupts.
The explosion of movement was meant to catch him of guard, he noticed, as he ducked beneath a ray of blood shooting directly towards his head from behind.
The thing, he just decided to call it fish for now, took off from where it was. Moving faster than its size suggested as it came for Aris. The circular movement of the teeth sped as it closed in, the sound of it similar to that of a chainsaw.
Aris jumped, an elegant movement, as the fish plowed through where he was a moment ago.
Failing to stop its own momentum, it was dragged forward quite a bit, which gave Aris just enough time to concentrate another blast of entropy and send it flying.
This time, it hit the mark.
A deafening explosion erupted from where the beam met the fish, and the thing disassembled, all of the functions keeping it bound together simply ceasing to function.
Aris landed back on the ground, wincing when he felt the wet ocean of viscera touch his skin again.
He didn’t get much time to bask in his victory, because he could already feel more of these things moving in from various direction towards him.
It looked like the dungeon was going all out on him.
He took off from where he was standing, running inland as he thought of a plan. The mountain stretched into the sky in front of him, the valley surrounding it was no doubt filled with dangerous monsters. Behind him was the ocean of blood, from which multiple of the things he just killed was arriving towards him.
He didn’t slow down as he ran through the belly of the mountain, veering left towards the vast plains as he gained distance from the sea.
This place was worse.
Not in the disgusting way that the sea was bad, but worse in the way that he could see remnants of battles, corpses, most likely human survivors littering the vast flat ground stretching into the horizon.
The rotting things wandering the lands mindlessly, looking like desperate lost souls who was trying to find their way back home.
That was, until Aris arrived.
Once he was sufficiently close enough, it was like a switch had been flipped in them, they moved like they all shared the same mind, the sea of dead things, mostly humans, swarming him from all for direction.
He clicked his tongue, leaning forward as he sped up, shooting straight towards another mountain in the distance.
One good thing about all the attention being directed towards him was that he didn’t need to worry about the unconscious man on top of the mountain.
Which enabled him to gain as much distance as he wanted from him.
It didn’t take him long for him to reach an appropriate distance.
He slowed down, completely stopping and turning around to see the glorious horde of zombies he had managed to gather.
It was a little horrifying, this amount of corpses would have been enough to take down an entire city if the host was smart enough.
And it did look like that whatever was controlling this hive mind, this weird abomination of a dungeon, was smart enough to play at tactics.
Unfortunately for it, Aris was the worst type of enemy it could have ever come across.
Why?
The answer was simple.
He was exceptional at dismantling order.
And this entire dungeon was based around one principle, the order given by the one at the helm.
He let the smallest bit of his aspect unravel from him, letting out a long sigh of relief as he released that familiar tightness. The pulsing of it was like a second heartbeat, his own existence lusting for a release that was so earned after such a long two days.
It was quite the spectacle, seeing the very world around him wither.
The corpses faltered first, then ceased to move entirely. They fell like puppets whose chords had been cut from the top, rolling down the ground as their dying momentum carried them forward.
The fish collapsed next, the sea of blood bubbling as they flailed in lost coordination.
Then the ground started collapsing.
It was like the foundation of the earth itself had been removed, a titanic sinkhole opening up in front of Aris as it swallowed everything in sight. The corpses went first, then the mountain behind collapsed into it, the sea of blood pouring into the vast darkness next as the hole grew bigger.
Aris took off again, tightly binding his aspect back into his chest as he ran towards the unconscious man.
He had done enough, the rest would soon snowball into the complete collapse of this dungeon.
He just had to make sure the man didn’t die in the cross fire.
He was soon back on top of the mountain, having jumped from one part to another with his inhumane athleticism. It was one good thing about having such a petite frame, he was unnaturally good at moving.
He took a moment to look at the guy, still knelt on the ground, fist tightly wrapped around his glaive as he slumbered. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
"Time to say goodbye." He grabbed an arm and threw him over his shoulder, immediately regretting it when he realized all the dried up blood would dirty his clothes.
Nevertheless, he waited, not for long as the dungeon collapsed on itself.
The world around him wailed as it lost the order that had been keeping it together for all eternity, whatever being was controlling this dungeon, most likely in utter horror as it died under its own unbearable collapsing weight.
The gate sparked into light right next to him, a gust of cold air from the cleaner outside world flowing into the dungeon, finally convincing Aris to take a breath.
His nose scrunched in disgust when he could still smell the remnants of the dungeon.
Muttering a quiet curse under his breath, he walked into the portal, letting the wild mana envelope him as he returned home.
