Chapter 165: Chapter 165: Coaxing People
Chapter 165 -165: Coaxing People
Ruka sighed and, in the end, reached out to press his hand against her back.
Her back had always been beautiful, with its seductive waist and hip curves, along with her shapely shoulder blades, which once made men unable to let go.
But Ruka was in no mood to appreciate, for his touch only made him realize that her body temperature was unusually high.
“Suisui, do you feel unwell?”
She nodded.
“Where does it hurt, tell me.”
She nodded again, then shook her head, looking at him with a pitiful expression.
Ruka frowned, cradled her chin in his palm, and said, “Speak. Tell me, where does it hurt, what does it feel like?”
Qiao Suisui’s voice was a soft mess, laced with a crying tone: “Inside… it’s uncomfortable inside, itchy…”
Ruka paused, and his eyes darkened.
Angry as he was, he still scooped her up, his hand reaching into the water.
Qiao Suisui curled up in his embrace, biting his military uniform collar, emitting unbearable whimpers.
Her face flushed, she resembled a stunning water sprite. Clinging to the man’s neck, she wavered between asking him to stop and to continue, igniting his passion even further.
“Ruka…. Ruka….”
Hearing her call his name over and over, he felt vines wrapping around his heart, tightening by degrees.
The man involuntarily tightened his hold around her back, his fingertips sinking into her soft flesh. His breathing became erratic, kissing her earlobes, his hand in the water teasing her deliberately, leaving her in limbo.
“Ruka…” Qiao Suisui cried for him, her voice carrying a tender, pleading sorrow.
“Say you love me.”
“Mm… I love you…”
“Say you only love me.”
“Only, um… only love, you.”
Under his touch, she had no room for thought, desiring only to reach the peak swiftly.
She felt a surge within her about to break free, yet the switch was in the man’s hands. But he seemed not satisfied, toying with her, refusing to flip that switch.
Qiao Suisui grew impatient, crying as she grabbed his arm, petulantly saying, “Not this, go away…”
Ruka kissed the reddened corners of her eyes and asked, “Then what do you want?”
He saw her biting her red lips, her teary, reddened eyes staring at him, saying, “I want you…”
The man embraced her tightly, closing his eyes with a heavy sigh.
“What am I to do with you?”
She didn’t understand his predicament, persistently clinging to him, utterly coquettish. Ruka felt as if straddled between two worlds, experiencing both intense heat and cold. He adored her dependency on him; how could he not be moved at that moment? She had been away for many days, and he had spent those nights alone, holding her nightgown, the scent of her as though she were by his side.
But the moment he remembered she was pregnant and had just gone through such a harrowing event, Ruka desperately suppressed his desire, forcing out two words through clenched teeth: “No.”
Qiao Suisui had completely forgotten why it was not possible and merely heard Ruka rejecting her.
Women’s thoughts often wander to extremes, and a thought popped into her chaotic mind—
Ruka didn’t love her anymore.
She instantly felt as though the sky had collapsed, her crying intensified, and she almost couldn’t catch her breath from sobbing.
The man, while suppressing his own arousal, pacified her with patience, kissing away her tears and no longer punishing her, eventually allowing her release just once.
By the time they both emerged from the bathroom, an hour had passed.
Zong Fang was sitting in the armchair in front of the bed, blending into the darkness.
Ruka swept past his almost murderous gaze and gently placed Qiao Suisui on the bed, covering her with a blanket.
Zong Fang remained motionless, his gaze following the man’s every move with an unyielding intensity. He was determined to guard her without taking a single step away.
Ruka, not in the mood to contend with him, turned and entered the bathroom to readjust himself before leaving. Before he left, he kissed Qiao Suisui’s lips and gently touched her head. He didn’t glance at Zong Fang from beginning to end.
Zong Fang clenched hard enough to break the armrest of the couch but, fearing the noise would disturb her, he released his grip gently and slowly.
In the time that followed, Qiao Suisui slept for as long as he kept watch.
When she woke up the next day, it was already noon. The curtains in her inner chamber had been specially tailored by Leberli to block out light effectively, just so she could sleep well, undisturbed by sunlight. Hence, the room was still shrouded in darkness.
Rubbing her eyes, she sat up, still not fully awake, only to be pulled into a familiar embrace.
“Zong Fang?”
Her voice was husky, tinged with a soft tenderness that brushed against Zong Fang’s heart like a feather fan.
“What’s wrong, why are you silent?” She hugged the man back, not hearing his voice, but feeling his embrace tighten around her.
“I shouldn’t have let you leave,” Zong Fang said, stroking her hair and holding her close.
He was relieved she was unharmed; otherwise, he would have been guilt-stricken to death.
“I’m fine. I checked the height before I jumped, I knew it wouldn’t harm me,” she chuckled softly, clutching his waist and resting her chin on his shoulder to reassure him, “And those four didn’t really hurt me.”
No sooner was it mentioned than Zong Fang released a palpable aura of murderous intent.
“Where did they touch you?”
She couldn’t recall, dazed as she was back then… “Maybe just my foot.”
“What else?”
“That’s it, I think. They were trying to take off my clothes, but I escaped.”
With a ‘crack’, the chair beside the bed suddenly shattered without warning.
Qiao Suisui turned toward the noise, but in the next second, her chin was gripped and she was turned back by the man’s hand.
“Do you like that kind of place?”
She shook her head honestly, “I don’t like it.”
Zong Fang’s expression eased slightly, but he didn’t let her off the hook, asking again, “What type do you like?”
Qiao Suisui feigned ignorance adroitly, “What? It was too dark in there, I didn’t see anything.”
Actually, she had secretly taken several glances at a few attractive, busty men, not for anything else, purely out of curiosity.
Zong Fang’s expression finally softened a bit. Just as she thought she had passed this hurdle, the next second she was gently pushed back onto the bed.
Her long hair fell across the sheets and pillows, her hands placed beside her face as she looked up in bewilderment at the man who knelt at the foot of the bed, lifting her left foot by the ankle.
Qiao Suisui wanted to pull away, but her ankle was grasped firmly by a large hand. The hem of her nightgown slid to the root of her thighs during the struggle, exposing her pale and slender legs.
“How did they touch you? Like this, or like this?”
Zong Fang’s hand cradled the sole of her foot, his index finger lightly scratching, making Qiao Suisui unbearably ticklish. He looked at her slender ankle, the raised bone where veins ran blue and clear beneath her skin. Her skin was so white, like a peeled hard-boiled egg, that the slightest pressure of the man’s fingers would leave a mark. Her toes and the backs of her feet were soft and pink. Just the thought of those men handling her foot enraged Zong Fang so much he wanted to gouge out their eyes and chop off their hands.

“It’s ticklish, haha, ticklish, stop it, stop it already.”
Qiao Suisui sat up, constantly trying to move back to avoid him, but Zong Fang was relentless. He crawled on the bed to face her, his arms bracing on either side of her, trapping her.
“It seems I wasn’t harsh enough in punishing you last time, daring even to go to such a place.”
“It’s a misunderstanding, it was Isabella…” She opened her mouth to defend herself but was silenced by his kiss.
Their kiss deepened, Zong Fang biting her lip slightly, his own breath ragged. Realizing she was struggling for air, he immediately released her, his eyes still holding an unmasked affection.
“I didn’t partake in those games, nor did I touch anyone else. With you here, I find all that dull and uninteresting.”
“Little liar.”
He knew her too well. Qiao Suisui’s words were flattering, obviously meant to coax him so as not to be pursued further, but the man’s lips still involuntarily curved into a smile.
