Hunter of Mysterious Creature-Chapter 431 - 60: I Want to Fight Ten
The man in a well-tailored suit suddenly fell into silence.
The next second, the "fully-automatic slaughter line" inside the factory also came to a stop.
Accompanied by a series of crisp mechanical sounds, the bizarre "corpses" were unhooked one after another, falling to the ground.
At the moment they left the conveyor belt, these "corpses" immediately "came to life" and charged madly at Sun Hang.
"Oh, really throwing a tantrum now, huh?" Sun Hang did not retreat; instead, he stepped forward.
The next second, tens of thousands of mycelium pierced through these "corpses," nailing them to the ground.
As the "corpses" gradually withered, the mycelium visibly thickened, and vaguely some substances could be seen being transmitted along the mycelium into Sun Hang’s body.
The Taotie ability alone only counts as first-class bottom-of-the-line, but paired with a Taotie Meme, it’s far more than one plus one equals two. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
Nearly a hundred "corpses" were sucked dry into shriveled shells by Sun Hang, who habitually wiped the corner of his mouth, shaking his head with some dissatisfaction.
"Quality’s too poor; at best, it’s like a roadside stall filled with gutter oil... If it weren’t for my powerful digestive system, I’d probably be running to doubt my sanity."
The man in the suit no longer responded to Sun Hang, but on the other side of the line, three special-style Eternal Freeze Coffins were loaded onto an electric cart and pushed in front of Sun Hang.
The lid of the first Eternal Freeze Coffin flew out instantly, carried by white mist, crashing towards Sun Hang. Sun Hang reached out and grasped it in mid-air, the alloy lid was suspended... The next second, the lid transformed into a leg-thick, nearly ten-meter-long spear, shooting back along the path at greater speed.
The spear easily pierced through the ice fog rising from the Eternal Freeze Coffin, along with the bottom board of the coffin and the things inside.
"What the heck is this?" Sun Hang squinted his eyes, "Just throwing rubbish around, huh?"
"Huff... Gasp..."
A strong inhaling sound came from within the Eternal Freeze Coffin, the spear made from the coffin lid was pulled out and tossed aside. Immediately, a robust body stepped out of the Eternal Freeze Coffin, treading on the frost-covered ground.
On the chest of this body was a large, transparent hole front-to-back, looking inside that hole, one could even see the chest cavity with half of the heart missing.
Yet that half-missing heart kept beating continuously.
The damaged part of the heart and chest was sprouting dense small flesh buds like bamboo shoots after rain, filling the gap in an instant, leaving only a circle of pale scars.
However, what interested Sun Hang more wasn’t this guy’s self-healing ability, but what was on its neck.
This bizarre creature (or rather, this infected individual) actually had two heads growing on its neck.
"Ogre magician?" Sun Hang paused for a moment.
This thing’s appearance is so classic, it just needs a large club in its hand.
However, this "ogre magician" seemed not to know magic, nor did it pick up the spear tossed on the ground... It charged at Sun Hang with bare fists!
A copious amount of mycelium shot out again, yet most of them were blocked by the armor-like keratin layer on the "ogre magician," and the few that could penetrate were unable to break through the thick keratin layer to reach the flesh of the "ogre magician."
Sun Hang tried to activate Taotie’s ability but realized that the mycelium couldn’t absorb the meme inside the ogre magician through the keratin layer.
"Should I try a different method?"
Sun Hang took a deep breath, and at the moment he exhaled, all the mycelium embedded in the ogre magician became "fuses," pulling the eerie blue dragon’s flame onto its body.
The enormous entity, standing four meters tall and over three meters wide, was instantly engulfed by the dragon’s flame, becoming a huge blue fireball.
Its charge did not halt.
The keratin layer on its surface gradually carbonized and cracked, but this did not affect its movements. It barreled towards Sun Hang like a heavily insured semi-truck—foot fully pressed on the gas pedal.
"We’ll talk about going to the second dimension next time." Sun Hang deftly sidestepped, avoiding the burning semi-truck.
What slightly surprised Sun Hang was that even though the semi-truck was fast and had great inertia, its agility and braking ability were exceptionally impressive; it braked as soon as Sun Hang sidestepped, turned around, and punched at Sun Hang.
Sun Hang’s head was instantly smashed to pieces.
The headless corpse transformed into loose mycelium, scattering on the ground, while the "other" intact Sun Hang appeared at the semi-truck’s side, reaching out to pat it on the shoulder—oh wait, on the thigh.
"Pretty solid, looks like you’re regularly exercising?" Sun Hang praised while bending his finger directly into the enemy’s muscle, forcibly tearing off a patch of rubber from the semi-truck’s tire.
Oops, sorry, wrong thing, forcibly tearing off a patch of flesh from this bizarre creature’s thigh.
The semi-truck’s self-healing ability kicked in again, densely packed flesh buds sprouted from the wound... but this time, the injury was never able to heal.
Because the mycelium growing from Sun Hang’s hand had already "helped" it fill the wound.
Taotie’s devouring ability was fully unleashed!
The semi-truck staggered, its depleted right tire... right leg bent, immediately kneeling on the ground.
"Huh? Just a simple thank you suffices, no need for such grand gestures." Sun Hang stepped back, withdrawing his hand from the wound.
The growth of flesh buds from the wound ceased.
The semi-truck’s four eyes glared stubbornly at Sun Hang; a few seconds later, its burly body collapsed to the ground with a boom.
"A bit too weak; is there anything stronger?" Sun Hang stood beside the semi-truck’s corpse, performing an unstandard version of Yongchun Fist, mimicking Mr. Ye’s tone and shouting, "I want to fight ten of you!"
"Boom! Boom boom! Boom boom boom!"
As soon as Sun Hang finished speaking, eight Eternal Freeze Coffins descended from above, along with the remaining two earlier, forming a perfect circle around Sun Hang.
"There’s really ten?" Sun Hang was taken aback, "I was just joking..."
Ten Eternal Freeze Coffins opened their lids simultaneously, and the spewing ice mist instantly enveloped more than half the workshop.
...
A few minutes later, Sun Hang emerged from the still lingering ice mist, rubbing his neck. He tore a piece of clothing fabric from a corpse, wiped the blood off his palm, and looked up at the suited, yet headless "man" up high.
"I take back what I just said," Sun Hang stated, "I wasn’t kidding... ten, not nearly enough to fight."
The suited "man" looked down upon Sun Hang—though it had no eyes, Sun Hang could feel it was staring at him.
The gaze shooting from the black mist was so evident, almost like it was corporeal.
"Even though I haven’t had enough fun yet, I am in a hurry."
The next moment, another Sun Hang appeared behind the suited "man," piercing through its chest with his palm.
The suited "man’s" body started to twitch, its limbs and torso quickly transforming into black mist, spilling out from the collar and sleeves, while the surrounding scenes rapidly faded and peeled away...
"Does this count as clearing the level?" Sun Hang muttered in his heart, "So simple?"
