HUNTED-Chapter 364: Lights, camera, action! (2)

The viewers were going crazy now. Many were annoyingly in awe of the beasts rushing towards the soldiers of The Order. Allen and Hunter were cursing into the radio. They didn’t do a proper sweep of the area.

It looked like the only protection Alpha Damon, and Luna Aila had was what looked like two deltas. One was usually all they needed. The two leaders were powerful enough to not require extra protection, though not against the force of silver bullets. The Order didn’t have quite so many soldiers, though, to take on more than four werewolves.

Hunter’s camera was getting closer to the cinema, but on live video, a man with reddish hair looked Hunter up and down, instantly shifted into his wolf form, and barked, seeming to alert those nearby to the danger to their Alpha and Luna before the first shot went off. It went through the wolf’s shoulder.

’Woah, look at it!’

’Did you see that!?’

The comments were going wild about the werewolf. Allen gritted his teeth at that and spoke into the microphone. "Without proper equipment, these beasts can kill you in under ten seconds. As shown in camera one."

Camera one was footage from Bruce’s point of view from where he still lay against the roof, his gun moving from one man to the other. A werewolf jumped one of their men, and although it was sad to lose him, it was now an example of how lethal they were.

’Yo, these guys are evil!’

Allen grinned at that then it wiped off his face.

’Right?! The werewolves weren’t even doing anything and have been attacked!’

’Look how they don’t attack the bystanders. OPEN YOUR EYES, PEOPLE! Cam one. The wolves are protecting civilians as well!’

’Didn’t you see how they interacted with the kids earlier?’

Allen took a deep breath in before speaking into the microphone, watching the footage and ignoring the sounds outside the van. In Hunter’s camera, the wolf he shot in the shoulder had been shot five times in the chest and now lay on the ground. But another replaced him and swiftly came for Hunter.

On the other camera, it revealed Alpha Damon and Luna Aila now together, looking at each other. It looked lovey-dovey on the camera, but Allen knew they were talking to each other in their minds. It was quite a recent finding in the Hunters Association labs. Enough torture revealed that they didn’t need to always speak aloud.

"It was all for public image," Allen explained to the earlier comments. The number of viewers was still increasing. "Do not be fooled!"

The Alpha’s eyes focused on the camera, and they burned even brighter. He pulled Aila behind him and growled, eyes flashing as he marched towards the hunter. The gun in the video was pointed at Alpha Damon.

The hunter was not watching what Damon’s mate was doing in the background.

’Dude’s dead. LOL’

’What an idiot.’

’No wonder they were booted from HA.’

’HA?’

’Hunters Association.’

’So this is defo not the hunters?’

’Nope. Says The Order.’

Allen watched as Aila turned into a blur out of the camera. Damon was shot in the chest, but the gun trembled, the camera rocking from side to side. The sounds of wheezing came through the video before the room spiralled to the side, and a hand fell to the ground, a gun sliding across the dark blue carpet.

Blood pooled out as viewers could see the man dead on the ground and Aila Cross inspecting Damon Steel’s chest.

"I’m fine," the Alpha snapped. "Don’t do that again." His hand went to her face, hand gripping her hair, expression full of worry.

"For fuck sake, it’s turning into some dramatic film, and we’re the fucking bad guys," Allen sighed as his eyes flicked to the comments again.

’Rooting for them!’

’WW fan now!’

’Names, names, names!?’

’Aila Cross and Damon Steel, apparently most wanted.’

’What for?’

’Existing? Poor f*ckers.’

’How you ww fan? We don’t know anything about them..’

The comments were mixed, but mainly many were against The Order’s actions. This was not how it was meant to play out. Allen disconnected camera four that showed Aila Cross and Damon Steel nodding at each other, then holding hands and running in the direction that was obviously the front doors to the cinema towards the chaos.

Again, these viewers were turning into fans. It sickened him.

Alpha Damon and Luna Aila appeared again in the other three cameras. Hunter was still dealing with the werewolf, the other camera had also been knocked to the side, but it looked like it fell off. There were a few of their soldiers fighting off a large brown wolf. It was larger than the others.

It quickly killed them and rounded up humans before shifting, and a naked brown-haired man, luckily only his muscular ass, was on show on one camera, and the video on Bruce’s was too zoomed out to show the guy’s genitals to have their live stream completely taken down yet. They were bound to be reported soon for the gore.

’Damn, his ass is fiiine.’

’Stop drooling. This is horrible.’

’I can’t not unsee that ass, though..’

Right now, though, this was not looking good or in their favour. Allen was close to shutting it down, especially with the way the brown-haired man was being looked at like an idol and from how he pointed civilians into a safe location.

"We will take care of the remaining ones. Finn make sure they follow the other warriors," Alpha Damon ordered. "These aren’t Chase’s lot. They’re rogue hunters."

"I can’t believe they’re recording this. How sick can they be?" Luna Aila exclaimed, eyes hardening, lips thinning. She picked up the gun on the ground and, without looking, took aim and shot the nearest soldier who had aimed at her. He instantly fell to the ground.

The white-haired she-wolf picked up the camera that had fallen on the floor and kept it in front of her, revealing her expression more.

The comments were going wild about her beauty, the way she was a badass, though she could not read them. Some couldn’t believe how young she was.

"I do not know who is watching this. But starting a fight with us doesn’t only hurt our kind but yours as well." She flipped the camera over, revealing injured civilians, including young children who wailed. Their people, who were evidently werewolves from the blood-stained and ripped clothes, were helping them to get to a safer spot.

Allen was about to pull the plug on the whole live stream when he noticed Bruce’s position. It was on the camera Aila Cross had picked up.

A gunshot blasted at long range, and everything seemed to slow for a second as Allen held his breath. Bruce’s aim had been at Aila’s head. But before the different angles of the two cameras, another wolf barged her out of the way. The camera flew from her hands, instantly breaking and turning black.

Allen watched, frozen, as Bruce’s camera started going from side to side. He was running. Hunter finally killed the two werewolves that had approached him, ending up stabbing them in the chests and pushing their heavy bodies from him. The comments were going wild until the live feed was cut short and removed from WatchTube.

Allen could still see Hunter and Bruce running. Hunter was approaching the van, but the camera revealed men rushing towards it. Werewolves in their human forms. Allen grabbed the crossbow beside him and swirled in his chair, pointing towards the doors.

Hunter backtracked, and Bruce was already running in the opposite direction. Bruce and Hunter’s cameras went black. They’d left Allen to the wolves.
