How Did I Become an F1 Driver?-Chapter 838 - 336: Subsequent Rewards 2
According to online rumors, if you put an F22 in front of Qin Miao, he could really drive it back home.
Throw him into space, and Qin Miao could control the International Space Station.
However, everything has a price, and Qin Miao was directly overwhelmed by the massive amount of terrifying information.
When Qin Miao woke up, it was already noon.
By this time, Qimeng was already awake.
There wasn't even time to carefully research the sudden influx of knowledge causing his slightly aching head.
Once he was a bit more awake, Qin Miao took out his phone intending to call Boss Zhou.
Because after returning to the hotel last night, Qin Miao sent Boss Zhou an invitation to meet this morning and have lunch together.
The other party agreed readily.
But now it was already noon, and naturally, it wouldn't be appropriate to call Boss Zhou to agree on a time and place to meet.
This really seemed a bit too rude.
However, after searching for a while, Qin Miao couldn't find his phone next to his pillow.
Just up from bed, Qin Miao was still a bit confused, but as his head cleared, he realized Qimeng must have taken it.
Maybe she noticed he didn't wake up to answer calls.
Believing that Qimeng would handle it well, Qin Miao wasn't worried.
He sat on the bed for a moment sorting through the new information in his mind.
Honestly, right now, Qin Miao felt like he did back in school when he managed to memorize an ancient poem in its entirety.
He could recite the poem backwards and understand its meaning, but his understanding wasn't profound.
It would require some future moment for Qin Miao to truly comprehend the scenery and emotions the poet experienced while writing it.
Now Qin Miao was like that, clearly retaining all the flying and cooking knowledge in his head and capable of applying it.
But to truly integrate it, Qin Miao would need hands-on practice.
Other than that, Qin Miao didn't feel any physical anomalies.
After confirming there was nothing wrong with his body, Qin Miao got up.
After changing and washing up, he found that Qimeng and his mom weren't present in the living room, only spotting his phone at a conspicuous place on the dining table.
The phone was on a wireless charging dock, and beneath it lay a note, presumably left by Qimeng.
Picking up the phone for a glance, the battery was already fully charged.
Putting the phone in his pocket, Qin Miao picked up the note left by Qimeng.
[I don't know why you're sleeping so heavily, couldn't wake you, and you didn't hear Boss Zhou calling.
But I've already explained it to him, the meeting time is postponed to dinner. If you see this note, don't go out for lunch, mom and I are picking up groceries, back soon.
Love you! (づ ̄3 ̄)づ╭~]
Seeing the emoji Qimeng drew at the end of the note, despite feeling guilty and anxious about standing Boss Zhou up, Qin Miao chuckled uncontrollably.
Shaking his head, he pocketed the note, opened his phone, and scrolled through his contacts.
Sure enough, there were several missed calls from Boss Zhou.
There were also calls from others, which were answered later, probably handled by Qimeng.
But just as Qin Miao picked up his phone, the hotel room door opened.
Qimeng and his mom walked in, followed by a hotel staff member, an African American carrying a big bag.
The staff member smiled and nodded at Qin Miao, then politely placed all the items in the hotel suite's kitchen before leaving.
After he left, Qin Miao embraced Qimeng under his mom's mockingly smiling gaze and planted a kiss on her forehead.
"Tsk!" Mom clicked her tongue, teasing, "Grown-ups, still no shame."
"Hehe." Qin Miao chuckled foolishly.
After laughing, he entered the kitchen under Qimeng's puzzled gaze.
"What are you up to?" Qimeng asked, slightly puzzled, following Qin Miao into the kitchen.
"Just checking out what groceries you got."
"Oh come on, don't make a mess, finally a bit of rest. Shouldn't you be playing with your phone or watching TV instead of crowding the kitchen? Just wait in the living room for the meal." Qimeng dismissed Qin Miao from the kitchen with a hint of disdain.
Qin Miao intended to experiment with his skills but, lacking experience and without having read any cooking books, suddenly showcasing culinary expertise seemed suspicious.
Even though these were his life's most significant people.
Thus, Qin Miao had no choice but to let Qimeng push him out, murmuring in discontent: "Not even a peek?"
Watching Qin Miao being ushered from the kitchen, Mom said, "Alright, stop being cheeky, you're twenty already acting like a kid, racing all year isn't easy, leave the rest to me and Qimeng, you rest up."
Facing Qimeng, Qin Miao might act cheeky, but not so much with his mom.
"Alright."
But Qin Miao didn't follow his mom's advice to rest. Instead, he took out his phone to return calls to some people he was close with.
He remembered experiencing this scenario when he entered F2, after winning his first F2 Grand Prix, winning the F2 world championship, entering F1, and claiming his first F1 Grand Prix victory.
Yet after winning his first F1 Grand Prix, Qin Miao thought the next time this situation might occur later.
After all, becoming an F1 world champion isn't easy.
However, Qin Miao didn't expect it to happen so soon.
So while Qimeng cooked, Qin Miao kept making calls.
Mainly returning calls, which his friends were quite used to.
Half an hour later, Qin Miao had returned calls to Zhou Guanyu, Boss Zhou, Roxin, and some drivers he met during his F2 days.
After lunch, Qin Miao spent another twenty-plus minutes on calls, eventually heaving a sigh as though completing a task.
This segment finally concluded.
In the afternoon, Qin Miao had work to do as well.
He reserved the afternoon for a special interview with CCTV.
It wasn't his first time being interviewed by CCTV; he was interviewed when news broke of his entry into F1.
But this time the scale was distinctly different.
Initially, it was just a reporter and photographer, with the backdrop randomly chosen from his living quarters' walls.
This time a whole crew showed up.
And when Qin Miao went for the interview, the reporter even hinted that this one had promotional purposes.
So they prepared a script for Qin Miao, allowing him to freely modify his answers, and CCTV staff would assist in refining them.
That's why this interview required a full afternoon.
Ultimately, Qin Miao completed the interview by around four in the afternoon.
Due to his great memory, memorizing the script didn't take much time.
The CCTV team thanked Qin Miao profusely and wanted to invite him to dinner, but his schedule was too packed recently, so he declined.
They didn't mind; before leaving, many crew members requested autographs and photos with Qin Miao.
Several even presented gifts they prepared for him.
Qin Miao was outstandingly indifferent yet unreserved: treating CCTV staff no differently than fans.
What surprised him was that half the crew were apparently his fans.
Though perhaps upon hearing of the interview, anyone in CCTV with F1 interests eagerly volunteered, leading to this scene.
PS. Sorry for the draft block, only 4000 now.
