From yesterday’s events, Seako at least knew normal attacks won’t do anything to zombies as they are immune to pain, so she knew she needed to do something in order to let those zombies be really dead for real

After watching Kaneki fight yesterday, she realised that it’s far more effective and efficient if she went for fatal blows to the body

Meaning as long as she aims for the fatal parts of the human bodies, it won’t be really a problem to deal with those zombies

While Saeko was having those thoughts in her mind, another zombie popped out and it went directly to attack her

Saeko as a swordsmaster already sensed that as she was ready to attack the zombie too who just popped out

*BOOM!*

But before she could do anything at all, the zombie head got instantly blasted into pieces within an instant,

Confused Saeko looked back and found Saya holding a sniper making Saeko realise what had just happened as it was none other than Saya who destroyed this zombie

"You are amazing" Rei couldn’t help but say this to Saya who just aimed for a headshot and succeeded in her first try

’They are really good at things like this’ Kaneki also commented this as he thinks Saeko is really good swordsmaster but he didnt expect Saya to be experienced in firearms too especially in Snipers

Even though he didnt never used a sniper himself but he had knowledge about it, so he was slightly surprised how well she could aim at this distance as well as how she could handle the recoil of the gun

He didnt expect her small body to handle such a big gun and moreover, if Kaneki isn’t wrong then this might be her first time using a real gun which itself is more impressive

"Aren’t my students really amazing~" Shizuka said this as she looked at Kaneki while covering Alice’s eyes since it’s inappropriate to let kids see such a violent scene

"More are coming" Kaneki said this next as the sound made by Saya’s sniper shot, other zombies heard it clearly, as they all are now aware of Saya’s position

As a result, now more zombies are on the way but luckily the number of zombies arent outrageous like yesterday at school

So he is sure that if they worked together then surely they can handle this situation well and of course, this doesn’t include Alice, Zeke and Shizuka

Because Alice is just a kid, Zeke is just a little dog and lastly, Shizuka because of air air-headed mind even though there is another reason which is that she is a medic in this team

So it’s better if Shizuka be protected as she can provide treatment if anyone gets injured or someone gets ill and not to mention Kaneki doesn’t mind babysitting her considering the fact that he has been doing this for months now

Rei also hold her firearm which is none other than an assault rifle as she is clearly getting nervous, not only her but others as well as Nervous and it’s really understandable

Kaneki knows this as he could clearly hear their heart which were beating at high speed, and he hoped that they would be able to overcome this if they really wanted to survive this disaster

’At least they are doing far better than me’ Kaneki couldn’t help but say this in his mind as a distant memory appeared in his mind which he always wanted to forget but he failed every single time

He thinks that at ’that time’ if they were in his place then they would do a lot better than him as he couldn’t help but feel sad about his choices back then

Saeko take a stance he heard the noise and knows the enemies are coming, she knows she needs to focus more than others because she is the person who will be fighting at close distance without any modern weapons

Moreover, unlike Kaneki, she is just a regular human which is why even the smallest mistake can cause her to lose her life

She closed her eyes and focused on her hearing to determine how many zombies were there as well as their location in order to accurately cut them down

Saya was covering Saeko with her sniper loaded and lastly, Rei went forward with her assault rifle loaded

After a few Moments of waiting, zombies come running towards them as seeing that Saeko went forward using her surroundings to her advantage in order to gain mobility

*Swoosh* *Swoosh* *Swoosh* *Swoosh* *Swoosh* *Swoosh* *Swoosh* *Swoosh*

And cut down zombies one by one without a shred of mercy and hesitation, Saeko was moving which was giving a hard time to Saya who was trying to give her a cover but somehow she was managing to do it as she was able to predict where Saeko would go next

*bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang* *bang*

Rei also opened fire towards zombies but unlike Saya, she couldn’t handle the gun recoil especially when the gun is an assault rifle which continuously shoots bullets with great recoil

As a result, she missed a lot of shots which is expected for a first timer, but Rei is now learning as she slowly manages to control the gun shots

Kaneki is already very ready to take action if anything goes wrong but by the way things are looking, he doubts if they will need his help as they are already doing very well

Shizuka covers Alice’s eyes so that she doesn’t see this scene but Alice knows what’s happening as even though she can’t see, she can still hear and the gunshots she has been hearing and zombie sounds, and she can imagine what’s going on

Alice understands this especially after what she experienced yesterday, so she is not that scared as she has no sympathy for the zombie who took her family away from her 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
