Horror Game Designer-Chapter 489: Please Call Me Doctor Gao!
Chapter 489: Please Call Me Doctor Gao!
Compared to the howling monsters, Gao Ming didn’t appear to be that scary. Zhe Zhi, who had a wealth of experience, didn’t even halt for a second as he led his team into the corridor where Gao Ming was!
“Huh? Why is there someone here?” In his memory, the path to the director’s office should be safe. However, Zhe Zhi didn’t intend to retreat, “Move!”
To break the shackles of human bodies and enter the dream, Zhe Zhi’s team attempted this haunted house many times. In the challengers’ forum, only Zhe Zhi had managed to enter the dream. The absurd images appeared in his mind. Because he had been there, he wished more than anyone to enter the domain of the soul again.
“There are many ways to enter the dream. The path hidden in the director’s office should be the safest. I don’t care who you are. Move!” Zhe Zhi and the other visitors charged forward. They didn’t lower in speed. Gao Ming, with his head lowered, didn’t seem to intend to move away.
The control centre was in a panic as they watched this go on. Gao Ming didn’t really need to do anything. They didn’t expect Zhe Zhi to have made the choice based on his previous experience and charge his way towards Gao Ming.
“Be careful!” Dong Guo noticed the issue and tried to warn Gao Ming.
The visitors crashed into Gao Ming. Gao Ming knocked into the prop cupboard behind him. The bags of fake blood exploded. All kinds of torture devices fell from the cupboard. The cupboard door broke.
The blood soaked Gao Ming’s body. His eyes were dominated by red and black. The costumes fell out with the props. There were school uniforms and strange costumes. Their owners appeared to have been killed. They were drenched by blood. They slid down the walls and fell around Gao Ming. The nightlight in the corridor was stomped into pieces by the visitors. The dim corridor disappeared into the darkness. The shrill siren exploded in their ears. Gao Ming watched the last bit of light disappear.
“I’ve once experienced warmth.” Gao Ming muttered as he looked at the bloody school uniform. “I was once on a school bus!”
The pain and darkness overwhelmed Gao Ming. The box of the ghost and a prop rose were crushed by someone’s shoes. Gao Ming’s eyes darted about. “I once loved someone. I once tried to heal the pain!”
Gao Ming grabbed the bloody coat. He felt he was surrounded by corpses. His face flashed across his mind. The person told him to keep on going no matter what!
Blood leaked out of his fingers. Gao Ming remembered something. He remembered the scenario, but he couldn’t tell if it had happened in the past or the future.
I was once hated and ostracised. I once felt happiness. I once saw gorgeous scenarios. I once cried heavily. I once had a family that loved me. I once experienced misfortune. I was once blessed by luck.
“I once owned kindness! I once told myself to always remember my name!”
Memory is something that has lived in the past but can always affect the future.
Gao Ming lifted his face to laugh. Blood flowed down his face. He stood among the props and costumes. He felt surrounded by many versions of himself. He laughed madly and without restrictions.
Zhe Zhi and the other guests stopped. When Zhe Zhi visited this haunted house in the past, he had never encountered such a crazy NPC. Nothing about him was fake.
“Fuck. This person wasn’t here last time!” fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
“Who is he?”
The monsters’ growls were overwhelmed by Gao Ming’s laughter. They saw Gao Ming’s eyes through the screen of blood.
“I remember now! I remember telling myself that my name is not Gao Ming!” Gao Ming shouted. He stared at Zhe Zhi, who broke the nightlight, and the people who shoved him into the darkness. “Perhaps you can call me Doctor Gao.”
His voice cut through the visitors’ hearts. Gao Ming ignored the darkness and stepped on the broken cupboard pieces. Holding onto the bars provided by the haunted house for its workers, Gao Ming climbed on the wall as he evaded the patients’ last effects that were scattered on the ground!
The white coat fluttered behind him. His red eyes were like ghostly flames!
Zhe Zhi had forgotten how to think. His instinct prompted him to run!
The others didn’t hesitate. They ran away from Gao Ming and back to the right path. No one dared to stay.
Of course, Gao Ming didn’t let them go just like that. With fake blood dripping all over him, he chased after the visitors.
Dong Guo was so stumped that she forgot to stand up. Her brain was dominated by Gao Ming’s reaction. She didn’t even hear the urgings in her earpiece. She was stunned at that moment. Her heart was still racing! Ȑ𝐀ꞐỒꞖÈṥ
The sounds of doors slamming mixed with the cries of the visitors. After a while, Dong Guo finally reacted. She crawled towards Gao Ming. Halfway through, she realised running would be faster than crawling.
“Hey! Stop!”
The visitors were forced into a room. Even the NPC actors inside the room didn’t dare to leave their posts. They shouted into their earpieces for help.
Someone slammed into the door heavily. The pain could have alleviated the depression inside Gao Ming. He didn’t care how many hands were blocking the door. Ever since he woke up from the nightmare, there were so many emotions accumulating inside him. No one could understand him.
“Enough! You can stop now!” Dong Guo hugged Gao Ming by his arms. She was shocked that she couldn’t get Gao Ming to stop. Gao Ming basically aimed to fling her into the wooden door.
Dong Guo closed her eyes. She almost cried, but she didn’t feel any pain. She slowly opened her eyes. Gao Ming stopped before her body crashed into the door.
“You did it! Let’s go!” Dong Guo’s legs wobbled as Gao Ming’s crimson eyes landed on her. It was like she was gazing into the eyes of a true criminal.
Dong Guo led Gao Ming back the way they came.
In half a minute, they moved from the most eastern side of the haunted house to the most western side. Shanghai Mental Asylum was the biggest maze haunted house in Xin Lu Intelligent City.
