Hollywood Zenith-Chapter 1227: Chaos-2
"Hah, I haven't been this tired for a long time." The Queen rested her phone back on the receiver leaning backward to calm her restless mind.
"Maybe, you majesty need some rest. I can arrange it-"
"No, Albert. This is not the time to rest on our laurels. With so much in disarray, I don't it will be over soon." She sighed heavily.
"They are restless and asking for my help but how could I make them understand that they are not fighting some ordinary forces but that cunning brat who seen to have answers for everything."
"I saw how much we lost this time. I fear the worst is yet to come. Do you think we can salvage this?" She asked her advisor.
Albert was silent for a moment before asking," If you haven't yet heard back from Mrs Margaret then I think there should be no room for negotiations. I feel like the young master have made up his mind to destroy both the legacy and prestige of Green family."
"They deserved it. The more I look into it the more horrified I feel about the outcome. Many things wouldn't be the same when the whole truth comes out. I want to make that boy understand restraint but he didn't seem to put me in his eye."
"I don't know. I think he has been careful. I have seen the patterns, they are gradually leading us toward a certain point and I feel like we are quite close to it. Maybe we will see his final move very soon."
"Final move? What more could he do to them?"
"I am not talking about them. He did say very harsh words when he was here last time. i believe we should prepare if he decided to public with our involvement."

"Nonsense! He might be-, no, I can't be sure. You are right. He has been brought up in that crazy family and as far as I know my big sister would stop at anything even taking a hit if it meant she could protect him. She must have made that choice as I haven't heard from her since last night."
"It might be because there was an incident. Someone tried to attack them and we have reason to believe this person knows about his involvement. Why don't we directly release Rothschild involvement in the matter? They wouldn't be able to hold everything and might loosen their grip on the matter." Albert suggested.
"How? There is little strings connecting them If we could find the eldest son or get some testimony from the younger ones, it could have worked but blindly stating our assumptions would only make the water more muddy." Elizabeth didn't like the idea.
"It will be necessary. Everyone already suspects him because they have shadowed our moves, it should be enough to sway their opinion."
"We might have their support but what matters most is people's trust. It might become the biggest blemish in my rule. There are times when I really wonder if the boy was right about the matter."
"On morality basis, he might be right but that doesn't mean he should take the law into his own hands. Once such precedence was set, all the families that have enemies would start fighting one another which might lead to a oot of collateral damage." Albert didn't agree to what Samuel was doing but he had to commend him for his bravery.
As they were discussing, there was a knock on the door which surprised them as it was normal to not disturb her when she was resting except if there was an emergency.
The person that entered the room was none other than the head of Queen's secret MI7 division, the same person whom Samuel met during Christmas when she visit the Estate and somehow managed to sneak them past their security.
"You don't look so good. Is it him again?"
"Yes and it's bad." He laid out everything that happened since morning. The Queen's face went from disbelief to red anger, she never expected Albert's premonitions to come true.
They really dare to lay hand on the royal family directly completely disregarding her authority, shining light on her involvement in protecting a vile family like the Greens.
This time, Samuel didn't hold back on bit, laying out all the facts and details even some poilice reports as well as everything he had on the crimes committed by each member of the Green family as well as them abusing their authority to coerce and threaten ordinary people.
It read like a book detailing how they got rich and how they keep exploiting the system for wven more riches. It also highlighted how the Queen's knighthood status gave them perfect cover to skirt around the rules befriending other high members of the society that were still helping them to this day.
There was also a tip about Clark being hinted at person behind the leak of this knowledge. He was portrayed as a scum whi finally had the decency to repent for his sins but there were recent findings of him enjoying a lavish life in foriegn country trying to avoid the authorities.
"Summon all the agents!"
"Yes your majesty." The man knelt down before briskly walking away with a stern expression knowing what the order entrailed.
"Your majesty?"
"There is no other way. The situation had gotten out of hand and we need to take some drastic measure to ensure it doesn't happen again. Check if there is a leak in our system, there is no way he could intercept our private conversation without outside help." She was wrong to assume he didn't have the capabilities to do it but it didn't matter at this point.
"What are you going to do?"
"They want war then I will give it to them. It seemed like because I always appear feeble and kind they have forgotten my past deeds. I thought the times were changing but I guess some thing never change."
Albert worried, the Queen was letting her emotions speak for her. There was no need for her to make such a drastic move for someone so tiny that she didn't even know such a person existed before he had clashed with Samuel.
He didn't know what it will mean for the future of the family but one thing was sure the quiet war that was in the shadows would eventually spill out in the open. It might also determine once and for all if the Rothschild family were deserving of their number one status.
