Instead of getting angry, Margaret smiled before standing up completely different from her previous angry expression.

"Good, good! See, this is my grandson! I thought for a second you would start to have doubts, which is why I have to resort to these things. We made a promise to you so many years ago: as long as you stay on the right path, no matter who it was, we will always be behind you and I intend to honor it till the end. So what might we lose? I have a competent son and grandson that can take care of me in old age so I don't fear anything."

"I know it's concerns my sister but she had always been stubborn, not seeing the signs until now. It's vital for you to knock some sense into her to kick her off her pedestal. Don't worry about her threats. It's evident that she is fearful of you, which is why she is going behind your back or else she would have just crushed you like she did to all her enemies." She seemed extra cheerful, even patting Samuel's back to reassure him.

This might be the first time someone managed to fool him this spectacularly. She even exuded real killing intent and everything, making her act so believable that he, including everyone else present, fell for it.

"Mother but your comment about him was not tasteful." Robert butted him. He knew his parents have always been eccentric; it ran in the blood of Rothschild but her comments about him being adopted were insensitive.

"Quiet, you don't know anything. I knew we have a princess in our mix and talking to her, I believe she doesn't know about his origins. It might not matter to others but royal families are very particular about blood; take it from me, who was once a princess. But seeing her expression remain unchanged, I don't think she mind it, which is great news." She glanced toward where the girls were sitting.

She wasn't someone who would be rude to them because they weren't from a wealthy background. She had made that mistake when his son first started pursuing her daughter-in-law. Laura was from a prominent family but they were at odds, so much so that she didn't want to acknowledge her but over time she came to realize how well she and her son get along.

Even when there was a time when she couldn't give her a grandson, she didn't lose her patience and always supported them, telling them everything would be alright. It might be because of it that God granted them Samuel and after that miraculous birth of Grayson, they completed the family.

She was old enough to judge a person's character by just looking at them. Adele has always been a grandchild to her and she doted on her a lot but knowing her grandson's antics, she knew he wouldn't have a smooth love life like the rest of the people.

Kate and Bella were tough; they never averted their gaze when talking to her or answering her questions. She was quite satisfied to know they built their business from scratch and she was also satisfied with their appearance, especially Kate, whom she felt was very fertile judging by her wide hips.

Robyn wasn't so sure about it. The girl was spontaneous and wild, completely opposite to Samuel, who appeared to be rash but would always calculate his moves. The girl possessed an exotic beauty, which did let her appreciate her more. Maybe it would produce some unexpected results?

But the one she was most curious about was Dhia, the Asian beauty who was elegant and noble. She had to admit, she really liked her temperament, which was unique and quite matched her. There were subdle hits that she was also involved with him but she couldn't be sure about it but seeing her now blush a little when she mentioned her name, Margaret became sure of it. She had to admit, her grandson was very talented.

"I do have one request." She turned to face Samuel again.

"If it's not too much to ask, then I am dying to hold the next generation of Rothschild in my arms. I know you people are busy but worry not; I will assemble the best people."

"Grandma! Please, now is not the time to discuss this." Samuel blushed heavily while others laughed. These were the times when he would act his age, breaking the illusion that he was perfect.

The girls also shy away, not daring to look at anyone. Seeing the situation getting out of hand, Laura decided to take them away. She couldn't believe Margaret would pull this stunt but she knew what she would do if such a situation ever arose again—she would always side with her son!

Samuel, on the other hand, sat down with them because he felt like it was time he told them about the new organization that he encountered.

He told them everything he found out about them and also about Talia, painting her in different light. He also explicitly told them he was going to save her after he resolved the issue with the Green family.

"Are you sure she could be trusted? I mean, there is so much you could know about a person whom you have known for a day." Robert wasn't keen with his idea.

"Still, it's hard to believe something so ancient still existed. Maybe they only adopted the name at a later date. I can't believe so many hidden clans are hiding and you are the one to discover them like you are collecting artifacts. First House of Medici, then the Newhouse family, who secretly owned WMG and now this. It's like someone is guiding you to discover that the world is not as simple as we think." Donald commented. He was a little embarrassed and thought that Samuel would hate him for siding with Margaret.

Samuel just smiled and said, "If that's the case, whoever that person is might be an amazing tactician. I would sure love to meet them."

He didn't think much of it because it seemed impossible. If such a person really existed, he was sure he would be watching his every move from the shadows. Other than Apollo and his fate, he couldn't blame anyone for this chaos.

"So? They still haven't found the clue to the little girl's parents." A young man sat in an intricate chair that was laden with gold and jewels. It looked ancient and sophisticated, reflecting the temperament of the young man.

"No, they suspended their operations in Bosnia and we still haven't figured out when they would return." Wilbur was kneeling before the young man, not daring to look at him since this was considered a failure on his part.

"Relax; there is no need to rush things. I have big plans. I read a report about some disturbance in Britain. It said, He was involved in it?"

"That's right." Wilbur gave him a general overview of Samuel's matter. As the young man's personal butler, he had to be aware of important current events from around the world.

"Vishkanyas, I remember them from the records of my ancestor. They subjugated their kind quite viciously, labeling them as witches. But fate led to us being their largest employer but they are still unaware of that fact." He stood up and walked toward the large glass window.

The scenery outside was beautiful; he was currently on the top of a castle in Europe, enjoying leisurely after his trip from Paris. It was the first time he had seen Sameul in flesh but he was sure the other party wouldn't even know who he was. He also had the luxury to befriend Elise with the pseudonym 'Bob', which was ironic considering his name and title.

"Are you sure that the head witch would take the girl to Moldova? I believe it's quite rough out there after the untimely demise of one of our pawns."

"That's right. The six crowns are desperately fighting for more power. It's quite vast, as the person controlled the whole of Europe before his death."

"Let them fight. It was not me who told them to attack Paris and fail spectacularly. They could have asked for help to kidnap that little girl but they went ahead, breaking the taboo and even giving our enemy concrete evidence of our existence."

"Lord, are you planning to eliminate the young heir of the Rothschild family?"

The young man turned his head, glaring at Wilbur, which made him prostrate on the ground. He felt fear knowing his master was angry. It was never his place to ask questions but the people below were hounding him for answers so he decided to take this chance.

"The boy must remain unharmed. I have told you there are great plans for him in the future. Now that he and the Vishkanyas are at odds, there might be a chance to test their capabilities. Tell our people to keep an eye on the situation. Neither party is easy."

"They are masters of poisons; I don't think he would survive. The clan has their main headquarters in Moldova with security that rivals the six crowns. They also have the technological superiority. The boy's chances are slim." Wilbur stated firmly.

"Well, if he perished this early, then he wasn't the one. Also try to see if we can plant some clues; maybe we will take his trip as the opportunity to steer him toward our own goal."

Wilbur didn't know what goal his master was talking about. The clue would definitely lead the boy to discover the existence of another Crown family, as they were the ones responsible for Elise's parent's death but questioning his faith was akin to asking for death. His sole responsibility was to help the heir to the throne to the best of his abilities but he felt like the current king should know about it. He made up his mind to consult his contacts to see if he could meet his majesty.
