Hold On Mr.! Your Sweetheart is a Real Queen-Chapter 793: Charlotte Smith, how long do you plan to keep this up?!
However, she and Robert Stephens didn’t actually run into each other much at home.
He left early and returned late. Sometimes, when they did see each other, it was when she got back from working a late shift. The flowers at home were replaced one bouquet after another, from pink roses to red ones, each one carefully chosen, vibrant and dewy.
Although she had never seen him bring Miss Madison home, Charlotte Smith couldn’t help but think that the matter between Robert Stephens and Janet Madison must have been settled. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Over the years, she hadn’t seen Robert Stephens be so attentive to anyone.
Her mood was a bit gloomy, but it didn’t feel entirely bad. This was the best outcome, avoiding any unexpected endings. Janet Madison was a lady from a prestigious family, whose family could help him more than the Smith family could.
After working for a month and a half, at the end of the month, the boss lady suddenly gave her a bonus of as much as 1,500 US Dollars, saying it was a reward for her hard work during those days.
With that, Charlotte Smith now had 6,000 US Dollars in hand.
Since she decided to be financially independent in the future, she naturally couldn’t use the money Robert Stephens gave her. The 6,000 US Dollars was enough for her to rent a one-bedroom apartment in a small city slightly distant from the city center.

The weather was slightly cold that day, and Charlotte Smith came downstairs wearing a slightly thick lotus-colored dress. Luckily, she actually ran into Robert Stephens having breakfast in the dining room, not having left yet.
Calculating it, it had been almost over twenty days since they last spoke. Charlotte Smith walked in, ate for a while with her head down, then lightly coughed and said, "Robert."
The man slowly swallowed the food he was chewing, then raised his head to look at her, his eyes void of warmth or inquiry.
The cold war had gotten to this point, almost indistinguishable from a break-up. Charlotte Smith knew Robert Stephens’ personality wouldn’t allow anyone to defy him, let alone a little pet like her.
She softly said to him, "I plan to move out from your house this week."
The maids serving them nearby widened their eyes in shock, looking at Charlotte Smith with disbelief in their eyes.
The man across from her quietly watched her, not saying much, very calm.
Seeing his calmness, Charlotte Smith also breathed a sigh of relief: "You also have Miss Madison now. Me staying here isn’t good for your relationship. I’ll explain it to my parents when I go back, don’t worry."
Robert Stephens looked at her for a while, then slowly opened his mouth, his voice very calm, "How do you plan to explain?"
"I..."
"Say that I cheated?"
Charlotte Smith’s round eyes widened slightly as she looked at his extremely calm face and increasingly darkening eyes. The air pressure in the room seemed to drop, and even if she were foolish, she could perceive the brewing storm of hidden anger in the man before her.
Charlotte Smith felt a heaviness in her chest. She lowered her voice, "Robert, I want to move out..."
The last word was not spoken, as the coffee cup by the man’s hand was thrown to the ground.
The "bang" of it shattering silenced the entire dining room. Everyone stood by, too scared even to breathe. Charlotte Smith was also frightened, her eyes constricting a few times, her face turning pale.
"Charlotte Smith, when are you going to stop this?!"
Robert Stephens’ voice, oppressive and somber, came over as he stood up from his chair, looking down at the woman across from him, whose expression was filled with surprise and tension.
"Blame me for finding another woman? Wasn’t it you who kept causing trouble with me from the start?!"
