Hold On Mr.! Your Sweetheart is a Real Queen-Chapter 702: Cold treatment
The man squinted slightly and chuckled lowly, "What kind of secrets does your phone have that I can’t check?"
"..." Daisy Ginger was momentarily speechless.
Damn, completely dominated.
Daisy coughed lightly, "What if I have some trade secrets on my phone?"
"Is this man your trade secret?"
Daisy, flustered and exasperated, said, "Didn’t you see I’ve blocked him?"
Edward Stephens replied confidently, "Then why did he add you again?"
Could she control who adds her? Isn’t that unnecessarily blaming her?
"Is it my fault that he added me?"
"If it’s not your fault, is it mine?" Edward retorted, "Isn’t it because you’re secretly attracting attention? Otherwise, how did he contact you?"
Damn, is he trying to settle old scores?
Daisy noticed the jealousy emanating from him and resisted the urge to roll her eyes, snorting coldly, "I’m just that outstanding, even having lunch gets men to stick around, you deal with it."
Edward: "..."
He’d seen narcissism before, but not so brazenly confident.
He was speechless, reaching out to pinch her face forcefully.
Daisy waved him away.
"Stop messing around, I’m working," she thought painfully about the money lost from entering the wrong numbers due to his scare earlier. She waved her hand like shooing a fly, "I’ve had no contact with him for ages; I don’t even like those younger than me, okay?"
The last sentence finally eased the man’s expression a bit.
"Don’t let me find you entangled with other men again."
He handed her phone back.
Daisy glanced at him, seeing his warning expression, and couldn’t help but chuckle.
Sigh, this man...
Isn’t he childish?
Jealous of a man so much younger than him...
She pinched his nose, chuckling and scolded, "Jealousy jar."
Edward gazed down at her, his deep eyes warm and bright, watching her for a while, then lowered his head to lightly kiss her lips.
Daisy closed her eyes, wrapping her arms around his neck, gently pressed against the wall by him.
Kissing felt wonderful, their breaths intertwined, as if she was entirely enveloped by his scent.
After the kiss, Daisy rested her forehead against the man’s chest, breathing lightly.
Her heart was racing, her whole body warming up; each contact with this man carried an indescribable thrill that no one else could give her.
Her small white ears had a blush around them, and the man deliberately pinched her hot earlobes with his cool fingertips. Daisy shivered slightly, sensitive all over, pushing him away, her voice a little coquettish, "Stop messing around. Go play by yourself, alright?"
The man looked down at her gentle and charming demeanor, his eyes darkening slowly. He softly responded, "Okay."
No hurry, still early morning.
Will get back to it tonight.
Daisy watched the man leave, exhaling softly, then patting her flushed cheeks and closing the door.
She glanced down at her phone screen.
Michael Joyner had sent another request.
"I don’t know what to do to make you like me, but I really like you."
Daisy looked at the sender’s name for a while, feeling a headache as she sat on the sofa, rubbing her forehead.
What does he like about her?
They hadn’t even met much, barely knew each other.
Young people say things too easily.
After hesitating for a moment, Daisy didn’t add him back.
She had made it very clear; if Michael Joyner was sensible, he should understand her meaning.
Ignoring is rejection.
