Hold On Mr.! Your Sweetheart is a Real Queen-Chapter 699: Jiu Jiu, give me one more chance.
Daisy was thrashing around in his arms.
"Stop messing around." She was so itchy and sore that she could barely catch her breath.
The man was still angry, "Answer my question!"
Daisy sighed lightly, "I’ve already explained it to him. He’s a good person, and I don’t want to lead him on... Ah!"
Her chest was bitten fiercely through the clothes, and Daisy cried out in pain.
In disbelief, she lowered her head to look at Edward.
Is this guy a dog? Seriously, right?
The man left a deep bite mark on her chest, stood up from the sofa, gave her a cold glance, then huffed and turned to leave.
"..." Daisy rubbed her chest and sat up slowly from the sofa, looking up at Edward’s back as he walked away before pulling open her clothes to see her chest.
Her fair, soft skin was marked with a circle of teeth marks, as if bitten by a dog.
Damn it, should she get a rabies shot?
Sigh.

Edward, having nothing to do, went into the kitchen to show off his cooking skills.
He used half of a big bag of groceries, and the whole house was filled with the aroma of food.
With so many people eating together, Erin looked quite happy. When Edward sat down, she even opened a bottle of soda for him and pushed it in front of him.
Daisy couldn’t help but roll her eyes.
"Edward, your cooking skills are really good, almost as good as Ethan’s!" Zoe exclaimed after tasting the sweet and sour ribs Edward made.
Edward smiled faintly, aloof and polite.
"Didn’t know you could cook either." Zoe was amazed, "Looks like Daisy is the only one in our family who can’t cook."
Daisy: "I know how to make instant noodles."
Edward mocked her, "And you can cook frozen dumplings."
Daisy glared at him.
Edward huffed coldly and looked away.
"..." Zoe bit her chopsticks, her big eyes glancing between Daisy and Edward, seeming to sense that something was off between them.
Edward seemed to be angry!
Scary.
Ethan, however, remained silent, and after finishing his meal, he went into the kitchen to wash the dishes.
Zoe pulled Daisy to the yard and said, "Daisy, there’s trouble, Edward seems jealous."
Daisy remembered the huge bite mark on her chest, damn, it still hurts now!
She said, "Let him be!"
Serves him right!
Zoe earnestly advised, "That’s not good. Although Michael is indeed pretty good, since you’re back together with Edward, you should clarify with him."
Daisy waved her hand, "Don’t worry, I’ve already explained it, he can choose to believe or not to believe."
She hadn’t established or developed a relationship with Michael, just cut off the ambiguity. If she were to count things seriously, she hadn’t even settled the score with Edward about him and Charlotte.
Those years Charlotte served Robert and then served him, who knows what might have developed, humph.
Daisy was resolute, and Zoe couldn’t continue to remind her.
The family played until five-thirty in the afternoon, watched two horror movies, and then Zoe and Ethan got up to leave.
Daisy saw them off and returned to the living room.
Popcorn and fruit trays were scattered messily on the coffee table. She went over to tidy up and said to Edward, "Take Erin upstairs to rest for a while."
Erin had been noisy all day and was already drowsy.
Edward glanced at her without speaking, just hugged the dozing Erin on the sofa and went upstairs.
Still minding her...
Daisy was speechless, feeling like she wanted to laugh.
This petty man.
Didn’t expect his jealousy to be so strong.

Edward came back, and Erin was visibly happy.
Father and son were glued to each other, inseparable.
Daisy knew Edward couldn’t stay with her for too long, with the Stephens family lacking leadership. It was unrealistic to leave everything to Ryan. After Edward had been back for a week, she subtly suggested he could return home.
It was one thing for him to be willing to give up everything for her, but she couldn’t bear for him to have nothing because of her.
Yet, whether Edward didn’t understand her hints or pretended not to, every time she brought up him going back to Chicago to help Ryan, he cunningly changed the subject.
This guy really doesn’t want to work!
Daisy was horrified to discover this fact.
This lazy bones!
If Ryan didn’t call to complain, Daisy wouldn’t even know how to explain it to him...
This day, early in the morning, Daisy woke up.
The man was still resting.
Having just recovered from a serious illness, he slept longer than usual, so Daisy tiptoed downstairs without waking him, washed in the bathroom, and then went down.
The housekeeper had already prepared breakfast. Seeing her come downstairs, she greeted her respectfully, "Miss Ginger."
Daisy smiled, responded, and went to the dining room for breakfast.
While eating breakfast, Daisy checked the stock market.
The market had been turbulent lately, and she lost over ten million. Although the money invested was just idle money and she hadn’t truly considered stock trading as a future career, she thought it might be a good time to plan her career path carefully.
She had Edward to support, and also Erin...
She put down her phone and saw the housekeeper heading out to buy groceries, stopping her, "I’ll go shopping today."
Having not exercised for a while, she put on a sport headset and jogged to a nearby supermarket to buy groceries.
This area was a wealthy district, and in the morning, most who shopped at the supermarket were maids and housekeepers, so when Daisy ran over, she saw the tall figure standing at the supermarket entrance from afar.
No wonder.
In a group of middle-aged and elderly people, the young man stood out remarkably.
Seeing Michael, Daisy slowed down her pace, hesitating whether to go over and say hello.
Unexpectedly, he saw her first, turned his head, and his gaze landed on her.
Now Daisy had no choice but to acknowledge him.
"Hi." She jogged over, "What are you doing here?"
The young man looked much more silent now, he lowered his head and said to her, "I didn’t know where to find you, so I waited at this supermarket entrance every day."
Daisy felt embarrassed to tell him she had been back for a week, hearing his words, she felt a bit awkward.
Clearing her throat, Daisy said, "You shouldn’t wait for me."
The young man was visibly excited, he clenched his hand and looked at her face, gathering courage to say, "Daisy, I know I’m not worthy of you yet, but give me a few more years and I’ll definitely succeed. Can you... give me another chance?"
Daisy awkwardly replied, "Sorry, Michael, I really don’t feel anything for you..."
She had tried, wanting to forget Edward. After all, isn’t starting a new relationship the best way to forget an old one?
However...
