Hold On Mr.! Your Sweetheart is a Real Queen-Chapter 648: How could one deceive Robert Stephens again without lying to you?
Back at the hospital, a nurse immediately came over and took Erin for a physical examination.
After the blood tests, half an hour passed. Erin was fine, just a bit dehydrated and had low blood sugar.
Daisy breathed a sigh of relief after seeing the test results and was about to take Erin to the cafeteria downstairs for breakfast. Then she saw Edward Stephens and Ryan Smith walking out of an elevator not far away.
Ryan was supporting the man, and the two were talking with their heads down. It seemed that Edward sensed something and was the first to raise his head and look at Daisy.
He stood there, looking at her, his handsome and pale face filled with silence.
Daisy ignored him, holding Erin’s hand, and walked past him shoulder to shoulder.
"Ding—"
The elevator doors opened and closed again.
After a long while, the man gently sighed and said in a soft voice, "Let’s go."
There was weariness in his weak voice.
Ryan looked down and saw his face growing paler, his heart jumping with fear, and he couldn’t help but say, "Didn’t I tell you to wait at the hospital? I was going to find you!"
As soon as the words fell, Ryan felt a weight on his shoulder, and the man leaning beside him slipped to the ground.
Damn!
Ryan was so scared his heart nearly jumped out of his throat. He looked at the unconscious Edward and instinctively shouted, "Doctor, nurse, come here quickly!"

Daisy took Erin to finish breakfast.
Erin was probably very hungry. As soon as the oatmeal was served, he buried his head and ate, finishing an entire bowl before slowing down and looking up at Daisy.
Daisy, who had thrown up once out of fear earlier, feeling uncomfortable with her stomach, saw Erin finish eating and pushed her untouched food in front of him.
"Eat slowly."
"Mommy, aren’t you eating?"
"I ate when I came," Daisy said gently, "I’m not hungry right now."
Erin looked at her and then lowered his head, slowly using the spoon to eat, this time very slowly.
After half an hour, Erin finished his breakfast.
Daisy took him to the garden downstairs to help him digest for a while. Seeing it was almost noon, she planned to leave the hospital.
Daisy picked up her phone and called Ryan, wanting to inform him she was taking Erin back to the city, but she couldn’t reach him after several attempts.
Since she couldn’t get through, Daisy decided not to try again and planned to leave with Erin.
Just as they stepped out of the hospital, her phone rang. Daisy glanced at the caller ID and answered.
"Hello?"
"What’s up?" Ryan’s voice sounded faintly tired, with the background noisy with footsteps and conversations, unclear what he was doing.
"I’m taking Erin back to the city," Daisy told him, "Thank you for helping me find Erin. Let me treat you to a meal sometime."
She was very courteous.
Ryan chuckled bitterly.
"Let’s skip the meal, and besides, I wasn’t the one who found him. If you want to thank someone, you should thank Edward."
"..." Daisy lowered her eyes and said flatly, "I’ll hang up then."
"Daisy," Ryan called her name softly, "Why can’t you give Edward a chance to explain? Parting like this, are you really content?"
Daisy: "Three years ago, when you all deceived me, did you consider whether I would be content?"
"If we didn’t deceive you, how else could we have deceived Robert Stephens?" Ryan’s voice was deep, and he seemed unable to contain his agitation, speaking faster, "You were sad and upset, but do you think Edward wasn’t hurt too? Over the years, for you, he’s done so many things he didn’t want to do. Don’t you know what kind of person he is?"
