His Witch Queen-Chapter 208: I love you!

"Thank you, His Highness..." Alice answered with a clear speech.

But King Vilas didn’t consume much of her time. He signaled her to walk towards the throne that is set in the middle of the entire hall. "Go and sit there, Alice. The ceremony will be done by our head priest."

Alice walked up to the throne and reached the chair with each careful step. Her heart was beating too loudly in her chest, ready to eat her alive. But then, she brought her other hand to keep it near her heart and calmed herself down.

As she turned around, Alice sat on the throne with grace. There was a unique shield in her eyes, the murderous aura mixed with a malicious glint.

She was extremely proud and this gave others the feeling of being supervised by the devil himself.

The priest didn’t delay the matters. He came to recite the rituals and the crown of the Kingdom was brought. As Alice caught the eye of it, her mind went numb. The beauty of the crown was beyond description...

"Alice, do you take the responsibility to protect your kingdom with your death?" the priest asked and Alice gave him a nod, "I do."

"Are you willing to act by-laws and for the welfare of your Kingdom?" He asked again and Alice gave him another nod, "I promise to act by-laws and for the people of my kingdom."

"Say, I, Alice, will always live for my Kingdom and its people. I will flourish this empire under my regime and won’t let the enemies eye it." The priest asked her to recite and following his commands, Alice fulfilled all the oaths which were needed to be taken.

Just in a few more minutes, the priest lifted the crown from the plate that another maid held and brought it on Alice’s head.

On the other hand, Alice closed her eyes to find weight being put on her head.

She knew the meaning of it. It was something she will need to cherish for a lifetime. Different things went into her mind and then, the weight of the crowning seemed to be lighter than the moment it was kept.

She opened her twinkled eyes and then, there was another shine in those two meaningful glances.

Alice was queen..A witch of her Kingdom....

"LONG LIVE QUEEN ALICE!"

"So, how’s my Witch Queen doing?" Alice felt the sharp tug from her back and immediately, Cyrus held her in his embrace.

There was extreme care in his actions, displaying how happy he appeared right now.

"I’m all fine...." Alice still wore the clothes which she wore during the ceremony. There, she realized how difficult it was for her to carry the crown.

But no, after some time, she found it to be almost fine...

"The crown will bring more responsibilities. People of your Kingdom will now see you in a different light." Cyrus told her and Alice nodded her head. "I’m ready for that."

"I know my wife will fulfill all her obligations sufficiently. You are incredible and there is no doubt in my eyes that you are going to surpass everyone."

While Cyrus had all the praises for her, Alice knew that he was more or less happy that she took over her Kingdom’s throne, and now, they both are not only husband and wife but the leaders of his Empires.

Their shoulders were now lifted with the powers and this brought a slight smirk to Alice’s lips, "What do you think of the future, Cyrus?"

"Future?"

"Hmm.."

"Nothing. I know that we can never decide our future. We can only anticipate the circumstances and make our guesses. But what exactly will happen cannot be determined by us. So, all we can do is to wait for the future and see with our own two eyes."

He was very realistic and to the point. However, Alice didn’t comment back which made Cyrus pinch her waist, "Ouch" she glared at him but he put forward his handsome smile, "Wife, you tell me. What do you think about us?"

"What do you want from our relationship?" Cyrus’s question was met with silence.

But this silence wasn’t awkward. Alice was in deep thought, recalling what else she would like to give to her relationship.

And suddenly, the thought of someone entered her mind, "Lisa..." she can’t help but mutter, "Dominic’s child will be born too.."

"Your brother’s child." Cyrus confirmed and she nodded, "He is the one..." she rotated her head to look back at their empire from the top of their palace, "And I want him to be raised in this palace. I will raise him like my own. So what if he doesn’t have a father? He can have me and his mother."

Hearing her determined tone, Cyrus’s eyes turned slightly cold. He held Alice with much force to apply and didn’t dare to tear his eye off her, "But what about me? Don’t you love me too?"

"Obviously. But it will be different between me and him. I will be his aunt.." she muttered but Cyrus didn’t let her be free from his grip so easily.

He rotated her head, to hold her chin tightly. The force of eye contact between them intensified and Alice felt the shiver down her spine.

"Listen, we are allowed to have only one daughter in the future. No boys." she gulped on hearing his strong aura voice. "But, boys..are cute too..."

"I want you for me only. A girl is fine because she will be the symbol of us. BUT no boys!" His aggressive tone made Alice’s heart numb. She wanted to gradually decline but confusion took a toll on her head.

In the end, when she found him not sparing her at any cost, she ended up nodding her head which finally let him leave her chin.

A sigh escaped from her lips but then, she moved her back to his chest and viewed the beautiful sight in front of the other two eyes. There was a spark that surfaced in her meaningful gazes.

"Cyrus..." she called his name and as he tugged back, he hummed to find her response, "Don’t leave me ever..."

Cyrus’s eyes bulged on seeing his wife who was under his embrace. A full smile drew over his lips that reached up to his lips, "Leave you? Alice, you are tied with me. Forget about this..."

"We will shape the Kingdom, fight with the future....give love to both of us, and stand by each other’s side in tough times. Moreover, how can I leave you?" he planned a soft kiss on her cheeks, "Let’s grow our family Alice..."

"I love you..."

"I love you more, love..."
