His soul-Chapter 60: Back to work
After a heated argument, Gina was finally free from the Sanders family, she managed to get out of the big house even though her grandmother and stepmother had managed to persuade Yohanes Sanders to let her stay. However, Gina, who was very fed up with living with these people, chose to leave, especially now that she had responsibilities, for the past few days Francia had been sending her messages. From messages that sounded worried to messages that Gina got, her boss was really a woman who easily changed her emotions.
"That little bitch is really insolent, how dare she ignore all my messages."
"Both eyes are alright, aren’t they? Oh my God, what if the kid goes blind."
"Aarrgg annoying, if his eyes hurt and he can’t reply to my messages shouldn’t he still be able to receive calls from me, huh? That brat Gina is really annoying, these five days I really kept thinking about it."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah I’m thinking about Gina, I feel-"
Gezz
Francia’s words stopped when she felt familiar with the voice that just interrupted her words, the woman quickly turned around and was surprised to see Gina the girl she was talking about a moment ago was standing smiling at her .
"Gina!!!"
"Hi, boss. Long time-"
Francia who was already very worried about Gina immediately hugged her quickly, lucky Gina leaned against the pole so that when Francia hugged her suddenly they both didn’t fall to the floor.
Gina patted Francia’s back twice because she was having trouble breathing. "I just recovered from an infection in both eyes and now you want to kill me by making me unable to breathe, boss?"
"Ahhh sorry... I’m sorry," Francia screamed loudly as she let go of Gina’s arms. "But your eyes have healed, haven’t they? Tell me, how bad are your eyes really that you’ve been missing for days?"
Gina chuckled. "So many questions you give me, hehe... then which one should I answer first?"
"Gina!!!"
Gina’s laughter grew louder, she was very happy to see her boss angry again. Their debate had to be stopped because there were customers who came, as if nothing had happened Gina immediately returned to her original position serving the buyers with Francia who was standing behind her, folding her arms across her chest.
"Ok, no more customers. Quickly tell me what’s going on."
Gina turned to Francia who was already looking very impatient. "May I have a drink first, boss?"
"Gina, once again you tease me then I will really fire you!!"
Gina grimaced, because Francia was really angry. Because she didn’t want to lose her job, Gina told her everything from the beginning, starting with what she experienced at the clinic. Gina did say the problem with her eyes, but she didn’t tell her what had happened to her for the past four days. Gina doesn’t want to tell anyone about her personal problems, she doesn’t want to choose the wrong friend. However, Francia is only a boss at work, nothing more.
"Jesus, that’s terrible. But your eyes are fine now, aren’t they?"
"If I’m still sick, how can I come to work, you have no idea how evil my boss is, sending curses at me almost every day."
Francia laughed out loud. "That’s a form of attention from superiors to subordinates, Gina. Oh yes, I almost forgot, there is a letter that we must read together, Gina."
Gina raised an eyebrow. "Letter?"
Francia, who had just pulled out a letter from the drawer, held it up high. "Yes, a letter, a letter without a sender. But it was clearly addressed to both of us."
"Yes, then let’s read."
"That’s what I’ve been waiting for these three days," Francia answered quickly, as fast as her hand in opening the white envelope.
Gina immediately approached Francia and began to read the letter that had just been removed from the envelope, for almost five minutes there was complete silence. There was no sound except for the ticking of the clock which was near the window containing fried chicken that was ready to eat. Francia, who was previously very excited to read the letter she received three days ago suddenly became silent after reading its contents.
"Gina-"
"It doesn’t seem like they’re a small group, there really is a powerful influential person behind all this chaos," Gina said quietly.
"So you don’t think the woman we helped yesterday wasn’t lying, the contents of the letter were horrible like this. Gina."
Gina pursed her lips. "This world is not only filled with good people, Francia. There are many bad people who are willing to do anything for their own interests, like the people who have chased that woman for example."
"Then what should we do? Should we report it to the police?"
"You read the letter, didn’t you?"
"I read, Gina."
"If you read why should we talk about the police? Didn’t that woman say that there was a big person who arranged all this, so it would be useless if we asked the police for help. What happens next is that we will become accused, all we can do now is pray for the woman. can escape from the pursuit of those people," said Gina quietly, her mind immediately focused on the message written by the woman she saved yesterday.
Francia nodded her head quickly. "Okay then, but Gina I’m still curious."
"Curious about what?"
"What is the job of the woman we helped yesterday? The contents of the letter are confusing."
Gina smiled, she was glad that Francia asked. "That woman is a supplier of young girls to prostitutes in the big city, Francia. To put it simply, she is a converted pimp who wants to live in peace."
"Jesus!" Francia screamed loudly. "So yesterday we helped the wrong person, Gina."
Gina shrugged her shoulders. "No, we weren’t wrong. Our aim was good, to save that woman. The matter as to what the woman’s job is has nothing to do with us, it’s just that after this maybe we should be more vigilant if we want to help someone."
"Well, I also think like that. Well, it’s better if I just burn this letter," said Francia curtly.
"I think so too, Francia."
"Take this as a lesson, Gina. We can be nice but we still have to be careful, we don’t know what kind of people we will help. Luckily the woman left immediately and the men who were chasing her didn’t come back to the shop to look for her, if they were looking for her. something will happen to us," said Francia loudly from the kitchen. She was burning a letter sent from Madrid by the woman they had helped earlier.
Gina did not respond to the boss’s words, her mind was still focused on the warning given by the woman she had helped last time. What is on Gina’s mind right now is who is the big person who is the real mastermind behind all this chaos, just now the problem has just been solved today, Gina has given one more puzzle that gives her a headache. It seemed that what her stepmother had said was true, Barcelona was not a safe place for a little girl like her.
Just as Gina was about to put on an apron to get to work, Francia emerged from the kitchen, the woman suddenly held out her cell phone to Gina.
"What is this?"
"You read it yourself, I’m sure that woman sent us the letter because it had something to do with what happened that night."
Gina chuckled, she then turned Francia’s phone and saw what Francia really wanted to show her. The smile on his face disappeared when he saw the article that appeared on Francia’s cell phone screen.
Francia who was wearing an apron on her body smiled seeing Gina’s expression. "That bar burned down five days ago, or four nights to be exact, huh." Francia stopped her speech and seemed to be counting on her fingers. "And you know, the virgin auction that the bar was going to do was a flop. The owner is currently under police investigation with the pimps who are forcibly taking the underage girls they’re about to sell, I’m pretty sure the lady gave us a warning because the bar is on fire."
"What does that bar have to do with us? Did we come there?" asked Gina pretending to be stupid.
"Nothing, that’s why the woman told us not to go to that place. I feel that’s what I got from the woman’s message," replied Francia flatly.
Gina shrugged her shoulders simultaneously. "Never mind, let’s not talk about it anymore. After all, the bar called that woman is no longer available and the woman has gone into hiding, we’d better end our conversation about it. I don’t want to get involved with people like them anymore."
"100%, I also don’t want to talk about it anymore. Well, let’s get excited about work and you go back to the back, use your special glasses Gina."
"Yes, ma’am."
Francia didn’t comment on Gina anymore because there were other customers who came, there was a relief in Fracia now when she saw Gina back to work. After working for days alone now Francia has another quarrelsome friend, Gina’s presence in the shop really means a lot to Francia.
Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, Spain.
"Never mind, don’t think too far, you won’t be pregnant dear. I’m sure," said a handsome young man who was lying on a big bed with his lover who was hugging him.
"Why don’t you use a condom? Didn’t I tell you to use a condom," the girl grumbled with a flushed face. "I’m just starting college this year, babe. I don’t want to get pregnant."
The young man chuckled. "I don’t like wearing condoms, they don’t taste good. I can’t fully enjoy you, honey."
"Akhh stop ... not again, I’m tired," sighed the girl with her eyes closed as her neck returned to get worship from her handsome lover.
"No, I can’t help it. You tease me too much honey, just enjoy my game like last night. I’ll make you keep thinking about me," the young man said hoarsely, his breath already rushing showing how excited he was right now.
"I love you Kyle," the girl screamed loudly when her lover had managed to enter her again.
The young man called Kyle smiled broadly when he managed to make his girl scream his name again like three hours ago, Kyle really ignored the vibration of the cellphone on the nightstand. What is in his brain right now is to complete his desire, his desire that always overflows when he is with the beautiful green-eyed girl.
