His soul-Chapter 549: Because of Gina
After driving his beloved car for almost forty minutes, Massimo finally arrived at the police station. Several young policemen who recognized him immediately bowed, saluted and made way for Massimo. Even though it was night, the situation at the police station was still quite busy.
"Where’s Adam?" Massimo asked one of the young police officers about Adam, the police chief in the office he met in front of the elevator.
"The commander is in the examination room, sir."
Massimo nodded. "Ok, I know the place and thanks."
Since being with Gina, Massimo’s attitude has been much different. Massimo’s arrogant, untouchable coldness began to disappear, replaced by Massimo’s figure who easily smiled and often said magic sentences such as sorry, thank you and please to others. Gina’s presence was not only a blessing in Massimo, but also a blessing to those who met Massimo like a young policeman who was motionless in the spot where he was standing now even though Massimo’s body had disappeared behind the elevator that took him to the sixth floor. The floor where Diego and Vanessa were inspected intensively.
The tinkling of the elevator that sounded on the sixth floor made Massimo’s previously relaxed body stiffen again, with sturdy steps Massimo got out of the elevator that could only accommodate four people to the room where Diego was. Remembering Diego’s words that Adam said about his claim to Gina made Massimo’s breath heavy. His desire to crush the young man into useless shards grew, Massimo’s ruthless fairyless figure reappeared.
Massimo’s steps would not have stopped if he hadn’t seen Adam, the person he wanted to meet tonight, come out of the very tightly guarded room.
"Mr. Massimo." Adam shouted loudly when he saw Massimo walking closer.
Massimo who was trying to contain his anger smiled a little when Adam said his name, with the right distance Massimo stopped his steps right in front of Adam who was already wearing a friendly face.
"What brings you back to this place, sir?" Adam asked carefully.
Massimo glanced at the door behind Adam which was tightly shut. "Diego, what is that bastard doing now?"
Adam was silent for a while, before he finally realized that at this time Massimo was angry and annoyed with Diego regarding the report he previously gave to Massimo, which now looks much friendlier.
"Still the same as before, sir. He locks his lips and refuses to answer all the accusations we give, Diego is completely consistent in not wanting to give an answer to the officers who are interrogating him." Adam explained in detail.
Massimo raised one eyebrow. "To deal with a shameless human like him you have to use other methods."
"Another method?"
"Yes, another method," said Massimo quietly, as slow as the movement of his hand that pulled a gun from under the black leather jacket that wrapped his sturdy body.
Adam’s eyes widened when he saw the gun Massimo had just pulled out, using his body to block the door behind him. "No sir, you can’t take justice into your own hands."
"Why can’t?" asked Massimo disdainfully.
"Since you gave Diego to us, the case is our responsibility. Therefore, Diego’s safety is also under our protection," Adam replied firmly.
Massimo pursed his lips. "One hot lead coming out of this gun won’t kill him, especially if I don’t shoot in vital areas. Don’t worry, I played with a gun when I wasn’t even fifteen."
"Sir..."
"Relax, Adam. I just wanted to give that bastard a warning." Massimo interrupted Adam’s words quickly. "After all, I made your job easier by getting him to talk."
Adam’s face was red, he knew what Massimo was trying to do.
"No sir, please keep your emotions in check. Don’t dirty your precious hands with cowardly blood like Diego Alvarez, since he was put in prison your father-in-law officially took Sanders’ name from Diego. Mr. Julian doesn’t want Sanders’ name to be tainted by a despicable human like Diego ."
"Oh really? I didn’t know about that," cried Massimo in surprise.
Adam nodded quickly. "That’s right, sir. Even yesterday Mr Julian’s assistant came with his lawyer to this place to sort out Diego’s surname."
Massimo nodded his head with a faint smile on his face, Massimo’s assessment of Julian had completely changed. The figure of the father-in-law who he considered stupid and slow was not what he had thought, Julian Sanders had a faster initiative.
"You’d better go home, sir. Entrust this matter to us," Adam added again.
Massimo smirked. "As a senior cop who has lived in Barcelona for quite some time I’m sure you know a lot about me, Adam."
"Sir..."
"I’m not leaving until I get what I want," said Massimo stubbornly in a tone that didn’t want to be denied. "And Diego is the only reason I have to spend my precious dinner with my wife tonight."
Adam clenched his fists until his fingers turned white, facing Massimo who was already so difficult for him. Massimo, who was so determined as he was now, it was impossible for him to stop, no one could stop Massimo. Nothing but....Adam’s face reddened with sparkling eyes. His intelligent brain immediately digested the last sentence Massimo had said earlier.
"How disappointed Mrs del Cano is tonight when she finds out her husband is gone, missing a nice dinner just to take care of someone as insignificant as Diego Alvarez," Adam joked suddenly, taking Gina’s name on purpose to temper Massimo’s intention to make revenge with Diego.
Adam’s attempt was successful, with full speed Massimo turned his face to Adam. Both of his eyes filled with a look of fairyless anger at this moment, Massimo glared at Adam as if he was an enemy to be eliminated.
"Don’t take my wife with you," Massimo growled warningly with real jealousy, his arrival at the police station this time was to teach Diego a lesson who had dared to admit Gina as his own and now Massimo’s anger that had previously been extinguished was rekindled by Adam’s words.
Adam took a deep breath, as a man who had been married for a long time, of course, Adam’s experience was far above Massimo, who was still so dominated by the love that blazed for his wife. With a warm, friendly smile, Adam rested his hand on Massimo’s shoulder bravely. "I’m speaking from the point of view that women usually think of, sir. Because believe me, when we were young. My wife always wanted to spend time with me, whether it was morning, afternoon or evening especially when she was pregnant. my wife has become very spoiled and always wants to be close to me, that’s why I’m very sure if your wife is currently holding her emotions because she is disappointed with you."
Damn it!
The sentence after sentence that was spoken by Adam pierced Massimo’s heart right now, inside at this moment Massimo felt like he was being slashed. The thought of Gina sitting alone at the dining table with her stomach making it harder for her to move made Massimo’s chest feel tight. Damn.
Adam’s words really bothered him. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
With a swift movement, Massimo put his gun back into its holster behind his body. Without saying a word, Massimo immediately walked briskly towards the elevator which had just tinkled again because it had just been used by a policeman who had arrived with coffee. The hot coffee almost hurt his body if he didn’t move his hands quickly in front of his body, because Massimo who was running didn’t pay attention to the poor policeman who was carrying orders for Adam and his other seniors. From where he stood, Adam shook his head at Massimo’s completely unexpected behavior. Apparently the rumors he heard about Massimo were true, the successful man was in love with his wife who was pregnant with his successor. The first daughter of the beautiful Sanders family, Georgina Sanders.

"Fuck!"
Massimo cursed while hitting the steering wheel hard, Massimo had said countless words that were not worth hearing. Stuck in a traffic jam that wasted a lot of time really made his heart even more nervous, the thought of Gina sitting alone in great disappointment made Massimo want to destroy all the cars that were in front of his bulletproof Range Rover.
"Damn it, when will this traffic jam end?!" shouted Massimo for the umpteenth time.
With a frantic mind Massimo swerved onto an empty side street and drove his car to the front of a closed flower shop. As if using a worthless item, Massimo got out of his car and rushed to a group of motorized youths enjoying their drinks on their motorbikes.
At first Massimo’s arrival was unwelcome, but after he took out several hundred dollar bills from his wallet, the five young men who had previously ignored him immediately became kinder. Money really has great power. After speaking a few words, Massimo finally got on one of the young men’s motorbikes and led them down the busy streets back to his house. Even though he hasn’t ridden a motorcycle in a very long time, Massimo’s abilities are still above average. The four motorbikes driven by other youths who were following behind also seemed to have difficulty chasing them, luckily Massimo realized this so he slowed down his motorbike and let the young man catch up with him.
Massimo stopped the speed of his motorbike when he arrived in front of the gate of his house which was tightly closed, because he was wearing a full-face helmet that was covered by the guards behind the gate who did not immediately open the door for him. They were discussing while waiting for Martin’s decision, the impatient Massimo again honking an incalculable number of horns. Waiting was Massimo’s least favorite job and now that his men had made him do it, the previously quenched anger was creeping back up on Massimo, who was impatient to meet Gina.
As Massimo continued to honk his motorbike, some of the guards behind the gate came out in real anger. They even immediately pointed their guns at Massimo and the five young men who had helped him, pointed at deadly weapons like that made the five youths who stopped right behind Massimo immediately raise their hands in the air with great fear and Massimo was the only one who didn’t raise his hand. From behind the black glass of the helmet mounted on his head Massimo’s lips thinned.
"I like your firmness in guarding my house, but right now I’m not in a good mood. So quickly get out of my way and open the gate," said Massimo in his characteristic baritone voice. "I don’t want to keep my wife waiting inside too long."
The guards’ bodies instantly stiffened when they recognized their master’s voice as coming from a motorized figure whose face was covered by a helmet, realizing that if his men managed to notice his presence, Massimo slowly took off the helmet that had protected his head for nearly thirty minutes,
"Sir!"
The five guards who previously held guns squealed loudly when they saw the figure of the master in front of them, the five of them even bowed as a form of real apology and regret.
"Open the gate, I have to meet my wife," said Massimo again.
Without waiting for further instructions from Massimo, two guards immediately ran towards the gate and immediately pushed the large and strong door manually, giving way for Massimo to enter. As soon as the gate opened wide enough, Massimo quickly pressed the clutch on his motorbike and drove quietly into his big new house. The four motorbikes behind him did the same, although they were confused but they decided to follow Massimo into the big house filled with gunmen.
Martin, who was in a hurry to get out because he received a report from one of the guards in front, was surprised when he saw his master get off the motorbike.
"Master..."
"Take care of the young men who came with me, give them what they deserve. Tonight they are my saviors," Massimo said quickly as he handed Martin the helmet he was wearing and rushed into his house, but when he almost reached the door, Massimo surprised him. stopped in his tracks and turned to look at the youths who were in shock when they found out where they were. "Thanks for the help, I won’t forget your kindness tonight."
