His soul-Chapter 42: Witch eyes
At this moment Gina was like an animal in a zoo because she was the center of attention of everyone in the Sanders living room, everyone including her stepsisters stared at her without blinking. Grateful that Gina was wearing casual clothes that covered her whole body so she didn’t have to fix her appearance when she sat for too long in front of dozens of pairs of eyes staring at her without blinking.
"Grandma, are you sure he’s Daddy’s kid? She doesn’t look like Daddy at all like Selena and I," said Rosa curtly, breaking the silence.
Barbara Sanders who was sitting closest to Gina then grabbed Gina’s hand and squeezed it gently. "Gina is very similar to her mother, her eyes are also the inevitable genetic inheritance of this family."
"Witch’s eye," Gina said quietly.
Yohanes Sanders raised an eyebrow. "What did you say? How presumptuous!!"
Gina looked at her grandfather without smiling. "That’s what my friends in London say, they call my green eyes witch’s eyes and I actually prefer my mother’s prettier eye color."
Yohanes Sanders’ face was red with anger, this was the first time he had heard someone mocking their precious family inheritance directly. Vanessa Sanders also showed a similar surprise, but Patrick Davidson was amused by the provocative tone of Gina’s words. He really likes Gina’s very unique personality.
"You’re not allowed to talk about outsiders in this house." Yohanes asserted, still staring intently at the fearless Gina.
"Oh I see, fine," said Gina quickly as fast as her movements immediately got up from the sofa where she was sitting.
Seeing Gina wake up suddenly Barbara screamed loudly, as did Julian and Patrick.
Gina, who was ready to walk, was surprised when her grandmother’s hand was now gripped by her. "What else?"
"Where are you going, honey?" Barbara asked hoarsely.
Gina looked around and ended up at Yohanes Sanders who was still sitting proudly in his oversized chair. "Didn’t that old geezer ask me not to talk about my mother who is considered an outsider, then I am also an outsider because I am Georgina Garcia daughter of Sandra Garcia who has nothing to do with this family."
Spontaneously both of Julian’s hands clenched into fists. "You are my daughter, Gina. Sandra is my lawful wife in the eyes of law and religion, your name is not Georgina Garcia either. Your name is Georgina Sanders."
"Tsk, a legal wife in the eyes of law and religion? Then what about in the eyes of your family? Isn’t my mother insignificant and considered an outsider?" 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Gina’s words were like sharp bullets that pierced the hearts of Julian and Barbara, the mother and daughter were at a loss for words to answer Gina’s words.
"Watch your words, don’t talk rudely to my father!!" Rosa shouted loudly, she couldn’t accept Gina speaking so rudely to her father who was still not 100% healed.
Gina chuckled and looked at Rosa who had the same eye color and hair as hers. "Don’t worry, I won’t take your father away like your mother did 19 years ago."
"How dare you, keep your words wild girl. Don’t you dare speak ill of my mother," Diego shouted loudly, as Vanessa’s first son, he did not accept anyone insulting his mother.
"Who are you? As far as I know, my father’s children are only two girls whose age is not much different from me?" Gina asked sarcastically.
Diego’s face reddened, he understood where Gina was talking about.
"He’s Diego, the first son of this family," said Yohanes Sanders firmly.
Immediately, Diego’s previously hot chest felt cold when he heard the words of his grandfather who called him the first son of the Sanders family.
"Oh." Gina’s lips rounded perfectly in response to her grandfather’s words, again Gina’s words made Yohanes Sanders angry. He really had never been this angry after 20 years ago when Julian was found to be in a relationship with a girl from a lowly family while studying in London.
"Gina, please calm down, everything can be discussed properly. Grandma asked you to come so please..."
Gina chuckled amusedly. "Family? Who? Me?" Gina’s index finger went straight to her nose as she spoke.
"Gina..."
Gina immediately raised her hand to stop her grandmother’s words. "You see, from the start I told the man what his name was standing behind the wheelchair that I didn’t need any recognition. From the person who suddenly proclaimed himself as my family, I’ve always lived with my mother until she died one month ago. then. And all that time I know I don’t have a family, so how can I be a part of this family. I’m sorry madam, since childhood I was taught by my mother not to take what is not my right. So the family name you say I turned down earlier because I wasn’t part of anyone’s family, let alone this part of the esteemed Sanders family. A great family that made a pregnant woman struggle alone to give birth and raise her daughter, while the person who made her suffer was laughing proudly making the child of another man the first grandson of this family."
Damn, Gina you’re too brave.
Barbara Sanders’s tears dripped down hearing Gina’s words, she couldn’t believe Gina would say that in front of everyone at this time. Meanwhile Julian who became the most sinful person in the misfortune in Gina’s life slowly got up from his wheelchair and walked over to Gina with a limp. He even refused to help Patrick who wanted to support him.
Gina silently watched her biological father walk towards her, there was no worry at all in Gina’s eyes when she saw how weak Julian was.
When he was almost in front of Gina, Julian suddenly knelt down with his head bowed which suddenly shocked everyone. "I’m sorry, Gina. I’m sorry, if Daddy wasn’t a coward at that time and had a little bit of courage maybe..."
"Stop, don’t play victim. You don’t have to act like you’re really sorry for what happened to my mother, if you’re sorry you can’t possibly have two children from the woman who was betrothed to you. I’m not a child who will be easily touched because of your cheap words and acting, my mother’s suffering is much more severe as you know, "Gina said quickly cutting off Julian word’s. "And there’s Mr. Sanders, you take it easy. My mother has forgiven you, even in her will she still asks me to respect you. Isn’t it extraordinary the heart of the woman you have offended?"
Yohanes Sanders didn’t make a sound, he even chose to stare at Gina with a cold and unfriendly gaze even though Gina said her mother wasn’t angry with them.
After saying that Gina then turned her body and prepared to leave the Sanders house, but again Barbara Sanders held her back.
"No, you can’t go. Your house is here, Gina. Please give Grandma a chance to pay for all Grandma’s past mistakes, stay with us. At least when Grandma meets Sandra in heaven Grandma still has the courage to look her in the face."
