Chapter 350: Reunion

Silence...

There was no answer from Patrick or Brigitta who was currently connected to Massimo, the husband and wife were still very surprised when they heard Massimo’s voice coming back from Gina’s cell phone.

"I’ll take care of you after my business with Gina is over, so for now you can stay calm with your wife and children Patrick Davidson," Massimo said again calmly without taking his eyes off Gina who was staring at him with fear.

"No, don’t bother Gina. Gina isn’t yours, Massimo! Let go of Gina," Patrick screamed loudly, his voice shaking slightly.

Massimo laughed at Patrick’s words. "Gina my legal wife Patrick, even though you’ve taken her away for years but we’re not divorced yet."

"Massimo!!!"

"And we will never divorce, remember that well Patrick Davidson. You better take care of your wife and children because after this I will..."

"Don’t hurt Uncle," Gina said softly, cutting Massimo’s words, her eyes welling with tears. glass when talking.

Massimo’s lips thinned, Gina still the same. Always thinking of others first, there was a warm feeling welling up in Massimo’s chest at this moment.

"I’ll report you to the police if you... tuttt ..."

Massimo who was sick of hearing Patrick’s voice causally disconnected their phone, without guilt Massimo even switched off Gina’s cellphone which was now in his shirt pocket.

"You owe me an explanation, honey," Massimo said softly to Gina who was already pressed against the toilet wall.

Gina, who had lowered her head, would have almost fallen if Massimo’s big hands had not held her back.

"Honey..."

"Thirst, I need water, Massimo," Gina said hoarsely.

Massimo immediately took Gina out of the toilet by carrying her like a bride, as soon as Massimo came out of the toilet four bodyguards guarded the entrance to the toilet and followed him from behind until Massimo finally sat Gina on a chair quite far from where her friends were enjoying a meal with Martin.

Gina accepted Massimo’s drinking water and drank it quickly, while Massimo chose to kneel on the floor in front of Gina.

"Enough?" asked Massimo quietly.

Gina nodded slowly.

Massimo smiled, his eyes sadly looking at Gina who was sitting in front of him. Massimo really wanted to hug Gina right now, his longing for Gina was already overwhelming.

"I-I have to rejoin my friends," Gina said quietly.

Massimo shook his head. "You don’t need them anymore, after this you have to come home with me to our house. Do you still want to go again after torturing me for so many years? Are you not satisfied that you have made me suffer in solitude for more than five years?"

Gina bit her lower lip hard, her head bowed not daring to make eye contact with Massimo who was below her.

"Five years, two months and twenty-three days, Gina. I’ve been counting the time and patiently waiting to see you, and now that you’ve appeared in front of me do you think I can let you go again?"

"Is the time I’ve been through so far not enough to make up for all my mistakes? What else should I do so you can forgive me, Gina? Do I have to scream in front of everyone to get an apology from you?" Massimo again bombarded Gina with many questions.

Gina didn’t respond to the question that came out of Massimo’s lips, her tongue too numb to speak. Gina is still in shock from their meeting.

"Okay, you can rejoin your friends," said Massimo suddenly.

"Is that true?" asked Gina spontaneously.

"Yeah, I’ll let you eat with them."

Gina narrowed her eyes. "You’re not lying are you?"

"I am not lying."

Without waiting for a long time, Gina then hurried away from Massimo and jogged to the table where Lauren was, what Gina wanted to do now was to borrow Lauren’s cell phone to call her uncle. Lauren, who didn’t know anything, immediately waved her hand at Gina who was walking fast towards her.

"It’s been a long time, is the toilet full?" asked Lauren quietly.

"N-no."

"Otherwise why..."

"Lend me your cell phone, Lauren," Gina said quietly, cutting off Lauren’s words quickly.

"My phone, where is yours?" asked Lauren, confused.

"My cell phone..."

"Is there something missing, Miss?" Martin suddenly interrupted Gina and Lauren’s whispering conversation, Martin tried to get the lady’s attention back.

"Eh?"

Martin smiled. "The food, is there something missing in the food?"

"No, all this food is delicious and amazing," Lauren answered quickly.

"Thank God, I think there is something that doesn’t suit your tongue," Martin said again as he put a piece of meat into his mouth.

Feeling bad for the person who had treated him to eat Lauren then gave Gina a cold look. "Let’s just eat first, Gina."

Gina, who couldn’t tell Lauren the truth, finally gave in and waited for Massimo to approach her again. It felt like all the therapy she had done for months to forget Massimo was useless. Because as soon as she met the man again, all the memories of him replayed in Gina’s mind.

Lauren and Gina’s other friends seemed to really enjoy the food that had been ordered for them, Martin really entertained Gina’s friends very well. Even though Gina herself ended up not touching her food, Gina had already lost her appetite.

When the waiters delivered the dessert shirts to the students, suddenly Massimo came. Massimo approached the chair where Martin was sitting. Martin, who realized that his master was coming, immediately stood up and gave him a chair, seeing Martin’s very polite attitude towards the handsome man who had just arrived, making the thirty New York student friends confused.

"Massimo del Cano, nice to meet you all," said Massimo slowly introducing himself.

James growled. "Massimo del Cano? Are you that Massimo del Cano?"

"Yes, I’m Massimo del Cano who is a young man," said Massimo softly, smiling at everyone sitting in front of him.

Brobi who was sitting next to James leaned his face towards James. "You know this man, James?" he asked quietly.

"Of course I know, just try searching on the internet. Enter his name into a search engine, you’ll know who this person named Massimo del Cano is, Brobi," James answered carefully, lowering his voice so that Massimo would not hear who was speaking. with some of his other friends.

Brobi obediently did as James said, his eyes immediately widened when he managed to get information about Massimo. Several times Brobi even stole glances at Massimo, making sure he wasn’t seeing the wrong thing. After making sure that Massimo’s face on his cell phone was similar to the face of the man sitting in front of him, finally Brobi believed that the man who was smiling warmly was Massimo del Cano, a big mafia that controlled mainland Spain.

After finishing the dessert served, on behalf of his other friends, James also thanked Massimo and Martin for giving them an extraordinary meal.

"I should be the one thanking all of you," said Massimo slowly in response to the thanks that were exchanged by James, Brobi and Elana who were standing in the front row when they left the restaurant.

"Thank us?"

"Yeah, thanks to you guys for taking good care of my wife," Massimo replied softly.

Gina, who was standing behind, gripped Lauren’s hand tightly when she heard Massimo’s words, her heart beating faster. Gina even briefly shook her head when Massimo looked at her, hoping that Massimo would not continue. But Gina’s hopes were dashed when James continued his conversation with Massimo.

"Looking after your wife? But we don’t know your wife, sir," said James quickly.

"You know him, you know him very well, in fact," Massimo said again.

"Really? Where is your wife, sir? Since then we haven’t even seen anyone else enter this restaurant," James asked more curiously.

Massimo pursed his lips and said, "My wife is Georgi..."

"Diego!!" Gina screamed loudly calling out to a man with black glasses who had just gotten out of the car not far from where he was standing.
