His soul-Chapter 342: Bad Plan
Guys Savoy, Paris.
After the awards ceremony at the film festival was over, Massimo was asked to attend a special dinner with the actors and artists who won trophies along with the important people behind the Paris film festival taking place.
Sitting with Milos Djokovic and a few other important people at the best available table in Guys Savoy put Massimo in the spotlight yet again. The beautiful women who have won trophies in the prestigious Paris film festival are seen vying for Massimo.
Ivana Borisova, who was sitting right behind Massimo, began to feel annoyed with the behavior of the beautiful women who were talking about Massimo.
"Do I need to do what they do, Olga?" Ivana asked her manager curtly.
"No, don’t lower your self-respect, Ivana. You’re different from them, so don’t put yourself on the same level as that artist," answered Ivana’s manager, who was called Olga quickly. "I’ve made a good plan for you, you just have to follow the instructions I give you."
Ivana immediately turned her gaze towards Olga quickly. "Good plan? What have you been planning, Olga? Don’t play games Olga, Massimo del Cano is not an ordinary man."
Olga Mikailov chuckled. "Relax, I have calculated everything properly. You don’t have to worry, you better be patient because the news is currently being processed."
"Olga..."
"Shhh.. don’t be noisy, eat your food quickly and keep your attitude. You must remain elegant, Ivana. Remember you are in a different class with the artists," said Olga again, giving Ivana a stern warning to keep her attitude.
Although annoyed with the manager, Ivana obeyed and resigned herself to following Olga’s instructions, who was always smart in making plans. Even though Ivana’s ability to play the piano is extraordinary, still all the awards and popularity she gets at this time are the intervention of the manager who manages all her scandals so well that currently Ivana’s name is still perched in the top position of the most influential beautiful young pianist in the world.
Although trying to be calm, Ivana’s attention was still disturbed by the actions of the beautiful women who were now surrounding Massimo, Ivana accidentally even pierced the steak meat on her plate when she saw a best supporting artist who previously won the trophy sitting beside Massimo after taking a group photo. Jealousy suddenly overtook Ivana, after receiving special treatment from Massimo moments ago on stage Ivana felt that she had more rights over Massimo who had saved her face.
Olga Mikailov, who was monitoring her subordinates from her cellphone, only chuckled amused when she saw Ivana getting angry, Olga knew that Ivana was currently jealous of the women who approached Massimo.
Massimo, who didn’t know that he had become the reason why many women were stifling, was still polite as usual, his calmness was so good that many women were curious. The way he talks is so manly it makes women want to always be near him.
"It turns out that the news that has been circulating is true, you are really a pleasant man, sir," said Scarlett Robbins, the artist with the best trophy winner at the awards ceremony praising Massimo.
Massimo smiled. "Don’t keep praising me, Miss. I’m just an ordinary businessman who certainly doesn’t match all the great people in this place."
Milos Djokovic patted Massimo on the shoulder quickly. "Everyone in this place knows who the person who has earned the most appreciation is, sir."
"It’s true what Mr. Djokovic said, because honestly this festival has become even more extraordinary because of your presence, Mr. Massimo. Everyone in this country beat the winning artists at the film festival today," said Scarlett Robbins in response to Milos Djokovic’s words.
Massimo shook his head with a smile, several times Massimo did notice that there were so many women who stole glances at him. But because Massimo had no interest in the women, Massimo simply ignored them.
Massimo’s boring dinner was finally over, without wasting any time Massimo invited Martin to return to the hotel. Although he had to struggle to refuse many people’s invitations to go to other fun places, Massimo finally made it to his car.
"Really troublesome," said Massimo quietly.
Martin smiled. "That’s because of your extraordinary charisma, sir."
"To hell with all that, all I want right now is to get to the hotel. I can’t stand the smell of this perfume that has been mixed in my body, Martin."
"After this we go straight back to..."
Martin’s words stopped suddenly when a group of reporters blocked their car, the reporters shouted for clarification from Massimo. Feeling that he had made no mistakes during his two days in Paris made Massimo look annoyed.
"Why are these reporters so barbaric, Martin?" asked Massimo coldly.
Martin immediately unbuckled his seatbelt. "Wait a minute sir, I’ll find out first."
Massimo nodded his head slowly trying to follow Martin’s instructions, although he felt uncomfortable with the behavior of the reporters who were still tapping on the glass next to him.
Because his new cell phone was still in the hotel room, Massimo didn’t know what had happened, so he could only stay silent and wait for information from Martin who was already outside the car. Feeling that Martin had been outside for too long Massimo lifted his face, was just about to touch the car door handle when suddenly the car door opened from the outside and Ivana Borisova walked in, looking very panicked.
Massimo’s surprise had not gone away when he saw Ivana Borisova getting into his car, suddenly Massimo was surprised again by the attitude of Ivana who immediately hugged him tightly.
"Hey miss..."
"Go, take me away from this place, Master."
"Eh?"
"Please, Master. Please take me away, save me," Ivana sobbed softly.
Massimo raised an eyebrow, his gaze immediately fixed on Martin who had returned to the car.
"What is it?"
Martin swallowed. "Let’s get out of here first, sir."
Massimo didn’t respond to Martin’s words, he was still bothered by Ivana’s presence clinging to him.
With the help of the bodyguards who managed to get rid of the reporters who were crowding the car, the car finally managed to leave the restaurant, once it was far enough from the restaurant Pablo stopped his car.
"Let go and tell me what happened?" jerked Massimo hard.
Ivana immediately let go of Massimo’s arms, his already messy face looking even paler with tears.
From the front Martin held out his hand to Massimo. "You can see this first, sir."
Holding back the annoyance of Massimo snatching Martin’s cell phone, his eyes immediately widened when he saw the article that appeared on the cellphone screen.
"What is this?" growled Massimo coldly.
"A reporter managed to sneak into the hotel we’re staying at, sir."
"Our?"
"Y-yes, I’m staying next to your room, sir," answered Ivana hoarsely.
"Then what does this have to do with rubbish news?"
"A journalist has made a fake story saying that you and Miss Ivana Borisova have a relationship, sir. The evidence at this hotel was used by them to publish this article," Martin answered quietly.
Massimo clenched his jaw. "How can a journalist publish this kind of hoax? What if Ivana and I or any other woman accidentally stay in the same hotel and then I have a relationship like that, is that so? It’s really stupid, the way they make this is very disgusting. Look for it. I know who got these photos, Martin. I’d like to meet him personally."
Hearing Massimo’s words made Ivana’s body tremble, instantly fear haunted her.
"Are you all right, Miss?" asked Martin politely.
"I-I’m afraid that this scandal will ruin my career, how about this? What if those people believe I’m a flirt? For God’s sake, I didn’t know you were staying at the same hotel as me, sir," said Ivana Borisova, shaking with tears in my eyes. "I don’t want people to call me a cheap woman because I’m in the same hotel as sob...sob..."
Ivana Borisova burst into tears, her voice loud enough to even cover Massimo one ear.
"Calm down, Miss, we will solve this problem. I guarantee your good name will be maintained," Martin said quietly trying to calm Ivana who was still crying.
"What Martin said is true, I will immediately make a clarification. You take it easy, after all why are journalists so stupid. Nowadays times have developed rapidly, how is it possible just because you stay at the same hotel and then think you have a relationship. Really cheap tricks , said Massimo curtly. "Hurry back to the hotel, Martin. We have to sort this out tonight."
"Yes sir."
Knowing his duty, Pablo then started his car again and rushed to the hotel followed by three other cars. While on the way back to the hotel Martin seemed busy contacting many people, while Massimo just sat quietly without seeming to comfort Ivana who was still crying. Massimo just looked at Ivana, who seemed busy talking to his manager, which Massimo could hear.
"Calm down Ivana, I will solve this problem. Don’t worry, those reporters won’t be able to drop your name," said Olga Mikailov, the mastermind of the current chaos, pretending to be worried.
"I don’t want to be famous for scandals, Olga. I don’t want to, I want to be known for sorcery works..."
"Yeah I know, honey... calm down. I’ll take care of it, oh yeah, is Mr. Massimo near you?"
Ivana was silent for a while before finally answering Olga’s question.
"Yes, I’m here," said Massimo dryly.
On the other end of the phone Olga smiled, it turned out that Massimo del Cano was not as cold as he had heard.
"Please take care of Ivana, Ivana is still a virgin, Master. So please take care of her for me."
