Chapter 332: Move

Julian’s life is going very well, even though Vanessa is not by his side at this time. Julian doesn’t feel lonely at all. The existence of Diego, Selena and Rosa really made him colorful. When dinner was over they would usually gather in the living room until bedtime, chatting and discussing other fun things until their stomachs hurt from hearing Diego’s jokes.

Diego has really become a pleasant person after the bad events that happened to Gina two months ago, he has changed to be more loving and gentle. Not only in the eyes of Selena and Rosa, but in the eyes of all the maids. His wild lifestyle disappeared, replaced with a very healthy lifestyle. Even because of his drastic change in attitude, Jesslyn decided to end their relationship because he felt Diego was very boring.

"Tomorrow I’m going to Madrid, Dad," Diego said quietly breaking the silence in the living room after Selena and Rosa went up to their room.

Julian put his smart tablet on the sofa. "Hotel business"

"Yeah, one of the food suppliers at our resort seems to be acting up, Dad," Diego replied coldly.

"In business it’s normal, Diego," said Julian flatly.

"No, Dad. They can’t just act like that, after all we have made everything in the contract. That’s why I will immediately go to the director of the company to ask for clarity and accountability for them," Diego said breathlessly.

Julian pursed his lips, his stepson Diego who had only been slacking around had now changed and was very reliable.

"Okay, Daddy let you go. But remember you have to be accompanied by Charlie, he will guide you through them."

"Okay, Dad." Diego answered excitedly, his hazel eyes sparkling showing how excited he was right now.

"Gina."

Silence.

The smile on Diego’s face immediately disappeared when Julian suddenly mentioned Gina’s name in the middle of their business conversation.

"Gina has arrived at her new home now with Patrick and Brigitta," Julian added again, his voice shaking a little.

Diego’s hands immediately went cold. "So Gina isn’t in the hospital anymore, Dad?"

Julian shook his head. "No."

"Her condition?"

"Very good and can communicate well, all the treatment and therapy processes are going smoothly. Gina is very cooperative with her doctors," answered Julian slowly, gratefully.

"So we won’t be able to see Gina after this?" Diego asked subconsciously.

"For the time being, it’s for Gina’s sake. Gina has sacrificed herself for this family by being the wife of Massimo that insane asshole, so right now it’s best like this. Keep Gina out of Massimo’s reach."

Diego growled when he heard Massimo’s name called. "Fucking Massimo . . . that mentally ill man should be dead right now, he’s the one responsible for most of what happened to our family, Dad."

"He’s too strong for us to fight, Diego."

"No Dad, we can’t go on like this. Bow to him and ..."

"Massimo has returned all the land titles belonging to the Sanders," said Julian hoarsely cutting Diego’s words.

Diego opened his mouth wide. "Are you serious daddy?"

"Yes, Daddy’s serious. Two days ago Martin Carlo came alone to the office to see Daddy, the man gave the Sanders family land titles without saying anything."

"But why did they suddenly return our land titles? Hasn’t he always refused to return them to us, Dad? What’s his plan after this? Does he want Selena to replace Gina? No, Dad. We can’t let Selena go through what Gina did. Naturally, Selena is different from Gina. I’m afraid Selena won’t be able to survive if..."

"Massimo doesn’t want to have anything to do with the Sanders anymore, that’s what Martin Carlo said before he left Daddy after returning all of our family’s securities." Julian again cut Diego’s words quickly.

"I-I can’t believe Massimo did this," Diego said hoarsely.

Julian smiled. "Maybe he let go of our family because he wanted to atone for his guilt for putting Gina in danger."

"No Dad, it’s not worth it. What that man has done to Gina is too big and the land certificate is not worth Gina’s safety," Diego screamed loudly, disagreeing with what his stepfather had just said.

"Daddy knows it’s not worth it, but at least with the land certificate returning to us, in the future we don’t have to worry anymore if we meet him. Likewise with Gina, if one day Gina returns to our family, we don’t have to be afraid. Massimo will kidnap Gina again like that night."

Diego was silent, his brain was processing the sentence his stepfather had just said.

"So when can we see Gina again, Dad?" Diego asked suddenly.

"I don’t know, what’s clear is that until Gina really goes back to being herself again and to wait for that moment to come we have to be patient," answered Julian quietly.

"Can’t I get his cell phone number?"

Julian chuckled. "Just ask Uncle Patrick."

"Eh?"

"Uncle Patrick didn’t give Daddy Gina’s cell phone number, Diego. Daddy thinks it’s the right decision at this point, Daddy will let Gina be with her new family first without our disturbance."

Diego’s jaw tightened. "We’re her family too, Dad."

"Daddy knows, but for now it seems like this is for the best, Diego. For the sake of Gina’s recovery," said Julian again.

"For the sake of Gina’s recovery." Diego repeated Julian’s words quietly.

Julian nodded slowly. "Well then Daddy goes back to the room first, you also need to rest soon. Tomorrow you will leave early, won’t you?"

"After tidying up the paperwork I’m going to bed, Dad."

"Good boy, Daddy’s proud of you, Diego," Julian said honestly.

"I just did what I should have done a long time ago, Dad."

Julian smiled again, after patting Diego twice on the shoulder Julian finally stepped into his room on the second floor leaving Diego alone. Not long after Julian entered his room Diego slowly took out a necklace from inside his shirt, the necklace he took from Gina when Gina was unconscious while in his lap after being rescued from Massimo’s house.

"I hope you are well in your new home, Gina. I will wait for you here, until you see me as a man," Diego said hoarsely, his chest racing very fast when he said Gina’s name again.

Being very close to Gina, who is in critical condition, destroys all of Diego’s egos, all his ambitions to control the Sanders family property are lost and replaced with his desire to make Gina his. Being his real woman, seeing Gina almost lose her life makes Diego suddenly want to protect Gina. Gina, whom he thought was very wild, turned out to be so weak and fragile, that’s why Diego vowed to make Gina his by changing his strategy and betraying his mother.

Massimo Castle.

"Are you sure about your decision, sir?" Martin asked again for the fifth time when he heard Massimo’s words since an hour ago.

"Certain."

"But Barcelona ..."

"I want to start a new life in Almeria, after all now Barcelona is not as interesting as it used to be," answered Massimo lightly.

"But Barcelona is the center of our business, sir," Martin said again.

"That was then and from now on I want to change it in Almeria, after all we can often come to this city just like we did when we visited Almeria."

Martin immediately locked his lips tightly, what Massimo said was true. They can still easily visit Barcelona at any time, but it still feels strange for Massimo del Cano to change his place of residence. Leaving the castle that was the residence of his predecessor.

"This city is too stuffy for me right now, it seems that finding new air in Almeria is the right decision, Martin. Moreover, there are Red Devils who also need close supervision from me, so it won’t be bad if we move from this city," added Massimo again without changing his expression stared at his two pet big cats that Gina was so afraid of. Yes, Gina is very afraid of the two big cats that are very tame to her.

"Yes sir, I understand."

Massimo smiled. "And move my two cats too, I want to make them free in Almeria."

Martin nodded his head slowly, after giving orders to Martin Massimo slowly walked away from the front of the cage of his two favorite panthers to the garden which had been his favorite place for the past few days.

Massimo looked up at the moon that was shining brightly above the garden, the second full moon he had passed alone without Gina by his side. Massimo did everything he could to find out where Gina was after he found out that Gina wasn’t at the Sanders’ house.

"Keep your promise to let Gina go, if you keep chasing her like this then all you’ll get is a lifeless body, Massimo. Gina already tried to end her life because of you once, are you still not satisfied? Do you want to see her actually become a corpse? ?"

Massimo lowered his head as he recalled the words Julian Sanders had said a month ago when he came back to the Sanders’ house looking for Gina, the words Julian had said completely left him speechless. Let alone seeing, even imagining Gina lying in a hospital bed Massimo would not be able to. Then how could Julian say such a terrible thing to him, wanting to make him see Gina become a corpse.

"Okay Gina, I let you go now. I consider this as punishment for everything I’ve done to you, I will wait for you to return to Spain," said Massimo quietly. "And when that time comes then I will never let you go again, my wife."

After saying that Massimo went back into his house to pack up and get ready to go to Almeria, his new house where he would wait for Gina to return. Massimo knew that Gina had been taken away from Spain, but Massimo chose not to pursue her. Massimo was too afraid that Gina would do other crazy things like that morning, that’s why Massimo let Gina calm down.

"You will definitely come back to me, Gina. I know you love me, I will wait for you to come back to me, Georgina." Massimo was talking to himself staring at the room which was a silent witness to how he had gotten to the full Gina before their wedding took place a few months ago.

After being satisfied to see his magnificent room which felt very quiet and cold, Massimo finally walked away towards the stairs to find Martin who was waiting for him obediently. Once in the front yard Massimo immediately got into his car with Martin, tonight he will immediately leave Barcelona for his new home Almeria. The house that will be the place to wait for Gina to return.

A procession of black cars could be seen coming out of Massimo’s castle onto the highway, the three-story castle was now completely empty after the mistress and master left. As soon as the last car passed through the gate, a guard turned off all the lights and fountains around the castle, an air of eerie immediately burst out when all signs of life in the castle were extinguished. Del Cano Castle is back to the same horrible place it was thirty-two years before Massimo was born.
