His soul-Chapter 327: Diego’s plan
After driving like a madman Massimo finally arrived at the Sanders residence again. As before, Massimo’s car was stopped by the police who were on guard in front of the Sanders family’s house. However, Massimo who was not fully aware of his actions chose the path of violence, by pointing his best gun that had terrible destructive power, finally Massimo was allowed to enter the Sanders family’s house.
"You really can’t be spoken to properly, Massimo," Diego snapped loudly at Massimo who had just passed through the gate.
Massimo growled with emotion. "You guys are the ones who are insane, Gina is currently in critical condition and requires intensive care from the doctors. But why did you bring her home, huh?"
Diego’s face changed, not expecting to get such a question from Massimo even though he had previously calmed down and was sure that Massimo had not brought up such things to him considering that previously Massimo wanted to leave his house just like that.
"There’s already a doctor in the house that we hired to look after Gina until she recovers, you don’t have to worry."
"Don’t worry how? Gina just finished surgery and you guys just brought her home. You want to put her in danger?" shouted Massimo loudly.
"We should have asked you that question, Massimo." Julian, who had been in the house watching Massimo from the inside, finally came out and joined Diego to face Massimo. "Who is the person most responsible for this incident? Are you or are we family members? If we had arrived five minutes late, the house would already be filled with bouquets of flowers from my colleagues because they are sorry for Gina’s passing."
"Julian! Watch your words!" shouted Massimo hysterically. "Don’t talk nonsense."
"My father doesn’t say anything, Gina’s condition when we found her was already critical. You’ll know if you were with us yesterday, seeing how Gina’s condition is," Diego said no less loudly in response to Diego’s words. "And the person we should blame for his reckless act is you, Massimo. You’ve been violent to her and don’t deny it because we can still see the bruises on both cheeks clearly."
Massimo was dying of lice, he couldn’t answer Diego’s words. The eyes that were usually stern and cold now looked completely different, there was a great fear there that Diego and Julian had not read.
"Go Massimo, Gina needs a calm state for the healing process. Keep your promise to release her like last night, don’t make things difficult for us." Julian spoke quietly, echoing Diego’s words. "Show us that you are a real man who always keeps your word."
"That’s right, you’ve taken my video after all, haven’t you? So go on, Massimo. Don’t bother Gina anymore, let my sister get well. Although I don’t know what happened to you guys, I’m pretty sure Gina must be really hurt right now. Gina is a strong girl, she wouldn’t have been able to take such crazy actions if she wasn’t in a very chaotic state. So I beg you once again, go Massimo. Give Gina peace, let Gina calm down so that the healing process can go well, "said Diego at length, trying to speak nicely to Massimo.
"I just wanted to meet Gina and see her," Massimo rasped softly.
"Didn’t you see her last night?" interrupted Julian, getting impatient with Massimo.
Massimo turned his gaze to Julian. "I’m her husband, Julian. I have every right to see her condition."
"The question is why are you looking at her again when you know that her condition hasn’t shown much change at the moment? My daughter is a good girl, Massimo. Even though I didn’t raise her since she was little, I know how to take care of my wife in educating Gina until she grows up, so please help me.Don’t treat Gina the way you treat your other bitches." Julian took Massimo’s words seriously. "Go Massimo, let my daughter have her treatment well and in peace."
Massimo raised his face in the air for a moment, holding back the pool of water that had gathered in his eyes from falling at Julian’s words.
"For Gina’s sake, go Massimo," Diego said again expressionlessly.
Massimo didn’t respond to the words of the two different generations in front of him, his eyes were fixed on the balcony of Gina’s room which was tightly closed. The balcony is full of memories with Gina when she was on a mission to retrieve the covenant her grandfather and Yohanes Sanders made a year and a half ago.
Julian, who felt Massimo had softened slowly approached Massimo and patted him on the shoulder. "Keep your promise, Massimo. Let go of Gina, be a man. I’ll forget this too and pretend it never happened."
"Daddy!"
Julian smiled. "I mean what I say, Massimo. As serious as I gave Gina to you at the altar a few months ago."
Diego shook his head at his father’s words, he couldn’t believe his father would talk like that even though there was no such agreement before between the two of them. That’s why Diego was shocked when he heard his father say he would forget all the mistakes Massimo had made.
Massimo again closed his lips tightly because of Julian’s words, only this time Massimo del Cano could not answer the words of his interlocutor. Massimo’s mind is too messy and can’t focus right now, his passionate desire to meet Gina makes him feel like he’s in a daze.
While Massimo was still silent from the direction of the gate, Martin and several of Massimo’s men came, running towards Massimo who was standing in front of Julian and Diego. Martin, who was worried about Massimo’s condition, decided to chase him until he finally arrived at the Sanders’ house.
"Bring your master home, Martin," Diego said coldly. "And make sure he doesn’t come back to this house again."
Martin did not ignore Diego’s words, he was too lazy to argue with Diego who was very annoying this time. Whereas at his last meeting with Diego some time ago, Diego looked like a loser who didn’t dare to raise his face when he spoke.
Julian smiled faintly at Diego’s words. "That’s right Martin, bring your master home. Remind him to keep his promise as a gentleman."
"I’ll give it a try, sir," Martin replied curtly, as thrifty as ever.
"Good, hurry up and leave. I don’t want you to disturb the concentration of the doctors who are keeping Gina inside." Diego arrogantly spoke again in a high tone.
Martin, who could not stand the change in Diego’s attitude, who was pretentious, finally gave a code to his subordinates who were standing nearby to invite Massimo out of the large Sanders family yard.
Diego took a deep breath when he saw Massimo and his men actually come out of his yard.
"How long do you think we can kick him out like this, Daddy?" Diego asked quietly.
"Until we’re sure Massimo has run out of patience, then we can tell the truth that Gina is no longer with us," answered Julian hoarsely. "But until then all we can do is continue to chase him away like this." 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
Diego nodded his head slowly.
"Gina is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, Patrick told Daddy that Gina’s condition is much better. Looks like our decision to move Gina out of this country is right, Diego," said Julian quietly holding back tears.
Diego moved his hand slowly towards Julian’s shoulder. "Gina will be fine, Dad. Don’t worry, she’s a strong girl."
"Hopefully, Diego. Daddy doesn’t know what to do if something bad happens to her."
Diego’s grip on Julian’s shoulder became even stronger instantly. "Don’t talk like that, Daddy. We have to think positively and be optimistic that Gina can get through all of this. If we are desperate like this then how will Gina get through all of this?"
Julian’s tears fell down his face that looked very tired, couldn’t sleep well since last night, making Julian’s face look much older than his age.
"Gina will be fine, Dad, trust me."
"Yeah, Daddy, I hope Gina gets better soon," said Julian, barely audible.
From behind, Charlie, who was carrying Julian and Vanessa’s divorce papers, stopped when he realized that Julian wasn’t doing well. But just as he was about to turn around, Julian suddenly waved at him, making the man who almost spent his career in the Sanders family draw closer to Julian.
"What is it?" asked Julian quietly.
"You and Mrs Vanessa’s divorce papers are ready, sir. Before I take this file to court, do you not want to reconsider your decision to separate from Mrs., Sir?"
Julian smiled. "I’ve made my decision, Charlie. I think my breakup with Vanessa is the best decision right now."
"But what about..."
"I support Daddy’s decision, Charlie. You don’t have to worry, my two little sisters also do the same thing to me," Diego said quickly, interrupting Charlie’s words. "I’m sure Daddy must have special considerations in this."
Charlie nodded his head. "Okay then, right now I will take this file to court."
Julian nodded slowly in response to his personal assistant’s words, without wasting any time Charlie immediately left before his master to go to court. When Charlie’s car was out of the gate Julian held his face high in the air.
"I’m sorry for divorcing your mother, Diego." Julian spoke again without lowering his face.
"It’s ok, Daddy. It’s Daddy’s right, I can’t interfere. I believe Daddy must have good reasons to divorce Mommy," Diego answered wisely.
Hearing Diego’s unexpected answer made Julian quickly turn his head away, staring at Diego without blinking. "Why did you choose to be on Daddy’s side? Even though you know that all this time Daddy..."
"What happened to Gina made me realize that peace in the family is very important, Daddy. And to be honest I still can’t believe Gina did such a crazy thing, If Gina hadn’t come to our house two years ago, Selena might be in her position right now and if it was Selena in Gina’s position I’m pretty sure that kid wouldn’t be able to survive Daddy.Selena isn’t as tough as Gina. " Diego interrupted Massimo’s words with a trembling voice. "And Mommy, the attitude Mommy showed last night made me realize that actually Mommy should get tougher action from Daddy. Her selfish attitude has really gone too far."
Julian smiled. "Thanks for understanding Daddy’s decision, Diego."
Diego plopped down on Julian, holding him tightly like his real father. "I’m sorry if all this time I still haven’t been able to be a dutiful son for Daddy."
"No, don’t talk like that again. From now on you will help Daddy take care of our family, so don’t bring up the past anymore. You’re the only one Daddy can trust now."
Diego nodded slowly in response to his stepfather’s words, a meaningful smile spread across Diego’s face. A smile of victory over a small bet he made himself without involving his mother.
"Sorry Mommy, I have to secure my own position in this house. So forgive me if Mommy has to leave this family."
