"How long are you going to keep looking at me like that, hm?"

"Until you want to talk to me honestly."

"Gina." Massimo growled warningly.

Gina smiled a little. "It’s okay if you don’t want to talk, that’s fine. I’ll just sleep then, my head feels really heavy."

Massimo’s face brightened at Gina’s confession. "From one to ten how much does it hurt?" Massimo’s voice trembled slightly as he spoke.

"I can’t describe it."

"Honey..."

"I’m tired, Massimo. I want to sleep," Gina said hoarsely with compassion for Massimo.

Massimo who didn’t want to make Gina sick even more relented not to ask Gina again, Massimo slowly moved his hand over the nightstand and turned off the light in the room where they were currently. Even though the sun was about to appear in a matter of minutes, Massimo still allowed Gina to sleep.

Seeing Gina close her eyes made Massimo feel sleepy, because his eyes could no longer be compromised, Massimo finally decided to join Gina in bed. Hugging his wife from behind possessively, Massimo landed a kiss on the back of Gina’s neck which was slightly wet with sweat. Instead of feeling disgusted, Massimo took a sip in the original scent of Gina’s body which made him even more drunk.

"Get well soon, dear. I can’t see you sick. I’m sorry, Gina," Massimo whispered hoarsely before finally following Gina who had arrived in dreamland first.

Massimo can give Gina everything, from money, comfort, to other crazy things like teaching her bullies a lesson. The only thing that Massimo has not given to Gina at this time is honesty, Massimo has not been able to be honest with all his feelings for Gina. Including his abnormal feeling that always explodes when he sees Gina laughing at other people, this unusual jealousy really torments Massimo so much that he unconsciously abuses Gina.

Massimo’s fear of being abandoned by Gina made the man sometimes act out of line, Gina was opium to Massimo and Massimo didn’t want to tell Gina honestly for fear that Gina would take advantage of his weakness. Only Massimo’s subordinates know about Gina’s status and Julian Sanders doesn’t mind Massimo not publishing Gina’s status to the public, as a businessman Julian can know Massimo’s considerations are still keeping their marriage secret. The secret of marriage that Gina thought was just Massimo del Cano’s crazy game.

Hugging Massimo from behind like this made Gina feel comfortable, the pain in her stomach also suddenly disappeared so that Gina subconsciously landed her right hand on Massimo’s hand which was currently wrapped around her stomach.

The two of them fell asleep until the sun began to show its might in the sky and made Thomas who was going to do an examination on Gina almost drop the stethoscope in his left hand if it wasn’t immediately taken by Martin who just smiled.

"I-I’m not hallucinating, am I?" said Thomas quietly.

"According to you?"

"Unbelievable, this is completely unreasonable."

Martin shook his head slowly at Thomas’s words, as if afraid of disturbing Gina’s sleep and Massimo carefully Martin pulled Thomas’ hand away from the door of Gina’s treatment room.

"Actually who is the real girl to be able to tame Cerberus, Martin?" Thomas asked hoarsely, when he was alone with Martin like this, Thomas often referred to Massimo as Cerberus the Greek mythological creature in the form of a giant three-headed dog that guards the entrance to the underworld.

Martin chuckled. "Isn’t it in Greek mythology that the one who was able to subdue Cerberus was Hercules? So then that girl could be the incarnation of Hercules, Thom."

"Fuck you, I’m serious bastard!"

Martin’s laughter grew louder when he heard Thomas’s curses, it felt like it had been a long time since Martin had laughed so freely. Being around Massimo made him have to stay serious and full of concentration, unlike when he was with Thomas, who easily get angry when provoked by small things like the example earlier.

"It’s a hospital, dude. Relax." Martin teased Thomas again with a small warning.

"Yes and you always almost make me lose face and reputation," Thomas replied curtly, if he was with Martin like now Thomas could get out of control. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Martin chuckled again. "It’s your own fault for not being able to maintain an attitude."

Thomas patted his left chest slowly trying to neutralize his emotions that had been provoked by the annoying behavior of Martin who was younger than him.

"You’re too busy with your work at the hospital, Thom. Therefore don’t blame me if you miss a lot of information about Master," Martin said again when he managed to calm down.

"I’m a doctor, bastard. Of course I’m busy and can’t take a day off, my responsibility is very big. I can’t fight my oath to God to serve the community," said Thomas curtly, trying to give an explanation.

Martin shook his head. "No, you can’t use that as an excuse. Actually if you want you can still come visit, sir."

"Oh my gosh, Martin. Have you forgotten my last visit eighteen months ago when I gave routine injections to girls who...wait. If Master is married to Madame Gina then what will happen to Master’s personal servants on the second floor? Is Madame silent seeing that there are many sexy and beautiful women in her house?" Thomas asked, bombarding Martin with questions that had been bothering him since last night.

Martin smiled, actually what he said earlier was just to tease Thomas. because he also knew that if Thomas came to the castle everyone would be excited like what happened eighteen months ago when all of Massimo’s personal servants were hysterical when they found out that Thomas was going to be given another injection. The girls refused to be given injections to stop them menstruating, because the girls hoped to be pregnant with Massimo’s child. But because Massimo didn’t want the girls’ children at the time, Thomas continued to do his job, giving them injections which prevented the girls from having their periods.

After the chaos Massimo finally decided to change the way to feed his gratification from injections to pills that still keep his personal servants pregnant.

Seeing Martin just smile made Thomas’s emotions come. "Hurry up and tell me all the things I’ve been missing, bastard!"
