Gina sat in her room staring at the photo of her father that Brigitta had just sent, Gina returned to using her cellphone after her godfather gave her a new cell phone. Patrick chuckled. "If uncle said he was tormented by his guilt for letting you be taken by Massimo would you believe it?"

"Of course not."

"Well then uncle can’t answer your previous question, dear."

Gina narrowed her eyes. "I’m serious, uncle."

"Uncle is serious too, honey. Your father is in pain because he feels guilty for letting you go," Patrick said again. "Everyone makes mistakes, Gina. Including your stupid dad."

Gina lowered her head and looked out the window, avoiding eye contact with her godfather who had been so kind to her for the past week.

"Tonight, your father will attend the Miss Universe final at one of your hotels. Many important people are coming and your father’s physical condition is not good, Gina," Patrick said again.

"I do not care."

"Really? Even if your father had to have a sudden heart attack and then faint like that time and in the end your father had to..."

"Uncle!!"

Patrick laughed out loud when he heard Gina’s screams interrupting his words, Patrick deliberately wanted to know whether Gina still cared about his father or not and as he guessed, even though Gina repeatedly said that she hated her father, in her heart Gina still loved her father very much.

Patrick took his beautiful wife’s face and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Let’s pray for Gina, let her heart soften. If she doesn’t meet her father tonight then her chances of seeing her father again will be difficult, especially tomorrow morning Gina will leave for England."

"But we can’t force Gina, Patrick. That girl is a victim, she doesn’t have the right to force us to forgive those who hurt her."

Patrick nodded slowly. "Yeah you’re right, okay then let’s go to the room. Let Gina make up her own mind."

Brigitta nodded her head, she then took her husband into the room to take a shower before getting ready for dinner. "Not bad, it feels lighter too with this short hair." Gina talks to herself in front of the mirror with a smile.

After tidying up the ends Gina then cleaned her dressing table of her long hair that had been cut so as not to dirty the floor, with Gina’s short hair it looked very different. Her face actually looks thinner and more adorable, huh..Gina’s strategy is wrong.

However, because her hair had already been cut, Gina finally made peace with the situation and chose to climb into bed to sleep. Out of breath, Patrick tried to explain to Gina.

Gina’s heart beat quickly when she heard such crazy things, even though Gina currently hates her father but if there are people who want to hurt her, Gina is not willing. When Patrick was about to turn around to change clothes suddenly Gina grabbed his adoptive father’s hand and said. "Does uncle have a gun?"

Patrick was surprised. "A gun, what do you need a gun for?"
