Gina’s gaze began to soften. "Lucas, why do you keep bringing Lucas into every conversation we have, Massimo?"

Massimo shook his head. "No, I don’t really want to mention that bastard’s name either. But right now he’s on his way to this house with a woman I really hate to..."

"The woman you hate so much?" Gina interrupted Massimo’s words quickly.

"I really don’t want to lose you, Gina. So please don’t hate me." Massimo continued as he buried his face in the back of Gina’s neck.

"So you and Lucas were really enemies all this time?" Gina asked quietly, somehow Gina could ask such a casual question even though her head was already filled with much more important questions.

"We’re both big mobsters, Gina. Of course our relationship isn’t as good as people think," said Massimo vaguely.

Gina took a deep breath, slowly let go of Massimo’s embrace and sat facing the man without blinking. "What is it, Lucas..."

Gina’s words were cut off when Martin suddenly knocked on their room.

"Lucas Dom and Diana Duarte have arrived, sir."

Instantly Massimo’s expression changed, his breath rose and fell rapidly. Knowing Lucas’ arrival made Massimo nervous, because it meant that he would soon be separated from Gina.

"Let the man wait a little longer, I’ll help Gina get ready," said Massimo flatly.

Martin nodded his head. "Yes sir."

After Martin left suddenly Massimo hugged Gina tightly again. "Don’t go, I don’t want you to go with him, Gina. I need you, for thirty-two new years last night I slept well and it’s all because of you, Gina."

Gina closed her eyes, a strange feeling rumbled in her chest at this moment. After all, since last night’s incident Gina wanted to get away from Massimo, but for some reason all her desire to get away from this man suddenly disappeared. Gina felt that there was a big chain that made her not want to leave Massimo’s side at this time.

"Don’t go, please..."

"You have to take good care of your family’s name, just like your grandfather, Massimo wanted," Gina said quietly, cutting Massimo’s words.
