Chapter 174: Did you miss me?

Without feeling guilty, Gina then walked out of the cafeteria past the group of disruptive students who had been rioting in the cafeteria for a week. When she arrived at the exit, she saw a female chef pointing her thumb at Gina with a smile.

Gina nodded her head slowly with a smile, responding to what the female chef was doing.

"Gina, wait!!" Lily and Tanya screamed at the same time, both girls panicked when they saw Gina was getting further away.

Hearing her name being called Gina stopped her steps, waiting for her two friends to come. Once Lily and Tanya managed to get close, Gina then continued on her way back towards the garden.

After Gina left, several other students who were still in the cafeteria began to dare to mock the arrogant students. It seemed that Gina’s bold actions had ignited the courage of other students to join in reprimanding the group of bullies.

Embarrassed, the arrogant students finally started to leave the cafeteria. Leaving Selena and her friends who look upset because they lost their fans.

"Arrogant girl," grumbled Maria, the prettiest girl after Selena in business class cursed Gina.

"What major is that kid from?"

"Economy," Selena answered simply.

The five girls who were currently sitting down immediately turned to Selena. "You know her, Selena?"

Serena took a deep breath. "No, I’ve only seen her once during registration."

"Oh economic girl, it’s only right that she behaves like that," said Laura curtly.

"What’s with the economics major, Laura?"

"Economics class is generally filled with bookworms, different from our class. So it’s only natural that their attitude is rude, you don’t have to be surprised," Laura said quietly.

The girls nodded their heads in response to Laura’s words, because they were hungry they got up to queue for food like the other students. While waiting in line, Selena looks busy with her cellphone, she sends a message to Gina that contains various swearing.

"It seems Mommy is right, Gina can’t be given a heart. Just watch out for you, Gina," Selena said to herself, her left hand gripped tightly on her smartphone that had just sent a message to Gina.

Tanya and Lily seemed to have difficulty keeping up with Gina’s footsteps, they were both seen running small so they wouldn’t be too far from Gina, who was almost at the park.

"After this you will definitely become an artist, Gina," said Lily slowly looking at Gina who was playing on the swing.

Gina smiled lopsidedly. "What artist? Did I just join the casting?"

"What Lily said is true, Gina. What you just did in the cafeteria will definitely become a hot topic on campus."

Gina lowered her feet to the ground, stopping the swing. "No way, it’s just a trivial matter. Don’t exaggerate, I’ll fly high."

"Ish, we’re serious, Gina. You dare to bet?"

"Why bet? Never mind, let’s talk about something else."

Lily shook her head to see Gina who came back already playing on the swing, her long hair that was tied in a ponytail seemed to float following the movement of her body that was floating in the air.

Feeling that what Gina was doing was fun, Tanya decided to join in on the swing with Gina, leaving Lily just sitting on the chair, the three girls laughed again together discussing several Netflix series that were currently ongoing.

"What are you going to do tomorrow, Gina?" Lily asked half shouting.

Gina shook her head. "There are no events, usually on weekends I just relax at home with my father. Why is that?"

"Tomorrow morning Tanya and I are going to RedFox, if you want you can come with us."

"Yes Gina, join us," added Tanya with a smile.

Gina stopped her swing and walked over to Lily. "What is Redfox?"

Lily smiled widely. "Amazing place anyway, you’ll love it."

"How can I like it? I’ve only heard that name once from the two of you," said Gina slowly looking at Tanya who had also come down from the swing.

"Redfox is the largest casino in Spain which will be inaugurated tomorrow morning, Gina. That’s why we have to go to that place, there must be a lot of games that can be played." Tanya divulges what place is Redfox.

Gina swallowed her saliva. "Casino? Isn’t that a gambling place, is it?"

"Indeed, but this is not just any casino, Gina. The twelve-story building has many interesting shops in it, ranging from boutiques, salons, play areas and restaurants all there. Therefore, tomorrow Redfox will be visited by a lot of people, especially tomorrow is the official opening. There must be a lot of discounts there, Gina. Tanya and I will buy some of the cosmetics we’ve been eyeing on Redfox," Lily answered excitedly, explaining in detail.

"That’s right, Gina. So even though it’s called a Casino but the place is like a mall, you have to look at the photos of Redfox first, it seems," Tanya said quietly as she took out her cellphone, looking for Redfox’s social media account which currently has millions of followers. .

Gina saw photos of Redfox from Tanya’s cell phone, as Tanya and Lily said earlier even though Redfox is a casino but there are two floors of the 12-story building that are open to the public. Starting from children and women can come to the place.

"How? Cool, right?"

Gina looked up at Lily. "Just okay, nothing special to me."

"Jesus, don’t tell me you’ve been so used to shopping at outrageously expensive places that a place as good as Redfox doesn’t appeal to you, will it?"

Gina waved her hand in the air. "I actually don’t like shopping, since my mother was still alive I preferred to spend a lot of time with her than going to the shopping center with my friends. Apart from that at that time I didn’t have any money, I also didn’t want to see my mother working alone while I was having fun."

Tanya and Lily immediately fell silent, both of them very surprised to hear what Gina had just said. Even though they are close enough, because Gina hasn’t told her what her life was like when she was still living with her mother in London, Tanya and Lily didn’t know anything about Gina’s past.

"Gina..."

"It’s ok, I’m fine now," Gina said softly with a smile.

"Sorry Gina, we don’t know."

"Never mind, don’t apologize, I’m really okay. Besides, my mother is already happy in heaven, so there’s no reason for me to be sad anymore, right?"

Gina’s words made Tanya and Lily even more uncomfortable, the two girls spontaneously hugged Gina tightly. Gina herself who did not expect to get such treatment from her two friends could only smile and return the hugs of the two girls.

Just about to take Tanya and Lily out to eat ice cream, suddenly Gina’s cell phone rings quite loudly.

"Your father?"

Gina shook her head. "No, an anonymous number," Gina answered slowly while pointing her cellphone screen at Tanya.

"Just pick it up, who knows it’s an important call."

"Yes, Gina. Just pick it up first, when we’re done, we’ll just follow us to the ice cream shop, okay?"

"Okay."

Tanya and Lily walked towards the ice cream shop not far from the park, leaving Gina who had just received an incoming call from the anonymous number.

"Hello..."

"Did you miss me, Gina?"
