His soul-Chapter 165: Never give up
"Yes, the security system that your grandfather chose is the most advanced security system in the world today, as Daddy previously explained," said Julian flatly, his eyes still staring at Diego and Vanessa alternately.
"Stupid Diego!!! Why are you doing this? You almost got us all in trouble," shouted Rosa loudly.
"Watch your words, Rosa. Diego is your brother!!" Vanessa rebuked no less loudly, she couldn’t accept it if someone vilified her proud son. Even though obviously all the evidence is now clear, Julian has shown several pieces of photos containing Diego’s face when he was trying to break into Yohanes Sanders’ safe.
Brak
Suddenly Selena hit the sofa hard.
"Mommy has always been like this since the first time, when Diego was wrong, Mommy closed eyes and if we did wrong to Diego, Mommy always asked us to apologize to him. So don’t be surprised if in the end Diego becomes a thief like this," said Selena coldly blaming her mother for Diego’s actions this time has crossed the line.
"Selena!!!"
"Why, Mommy? Mommy doesn’t accept me talking like this? What I’m saying is a fact, doesn’t Daddy already have proof that Mommy’s favorite child is a thief, then why is Mommy still defending him like this, huh?"
Slap..
A hard slap from Vanessa landed on Selena’s cheek which shocked everyone including Gina who didn’t expect to see Vanessa slap her own daughter.
"Vanessa ... are you crazy?!" shouted Julian loudly.
Vanessa’s hand that had just been used to slap her daughter trembled in the air, she was out of control at this moment in anger. Meanwhile, Selena, who had already received a hard hit from her mother, immediately ran to her father and hugged him tightly, Selena’s sobs could be heard clearly in the room.
"I’ve been silent if you continue to defend Diego, but I won’t let you hurt my daughter. You are blinded by your excessive love for Diego, Vanessa," said Julian coldly with both hands that had been patting Selena’s back gently trying to calm her down. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
"Julian..i am..."
Julian turned his gaze to Diego. "Have I not been good to you all this time, Diego? Since you came to this house when you were little I’ve loved you like my own son, I am always proud of you at every opportunity. But is this your reward for me? For people who have poured out their love throughout your life?"
Diego lowered his head even more, it seemed that he was speechless at the moment.
"You’re lucky that I didn’t report you to the police this time, but this is the last chance I’m giving you, Diego. And because of that I won’t allow you to ever set foot in this house again," said Julian firmly.
"Honey..."
Julian immediately turned to Vanessa who had just called him. "And for you Vanessa, from now on you have no right to manage this house anymore. I give all of your duties to Teresa, Teresa who will manage this house and all the servants in your place as hostess."
Vanessa’s tears welled up, she immediately shook her head quickly. "No honey. You can’t do this, it’s not fair to me, honey."
"I think that’s enough, I have nothing more to say. You can all go and for Diego you only have an hour to pack, the maid will help you tidy up all your things." Julian ignored Vanessa and went back to talking to Diego who had not opened his lips at all. "Come on Selena, Rosa, Gina come with Daddy upstairs. Leave these two people."
"But Daddy..."
Julian shook his head. "No Gina, Daddy’s decision is final. Daddy can’t forgive Diego anymore, his mistake has been unforgivable this time."
Gina immediately covered her lips, although she was happy that Diego got punished but on the other hand she felt sorry for her stepbrother who again had to be kicked out of the house.
"Come on, Miss, Master wants you to come upstairs," Charlie said politely, inviting Gina to leave Diego and Vanessa immediately.
Gina nodded her head and immediately rushed up to the second floor following her father who had brought Selena and Rosa first. Once Gina went up to the second floor Charlie then followed behind leaving Vanessa and Diego.
As soon as everyone left Vanessa started to go crazy, she threw a few things that were nearby against the wall. Vanessa also shouted Julian’s name many times, but Julian, who was already in Selena’s room, chose to ignore the woman and continue to be busy taking care of Selena’s reddened cheeks.
"I can’t accept it, Julian. You can’t do this to Diego, Diego doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment."
"Didn’t you promise me to take care of Diego forever, Julian. Where was your promise then, Julian? You’re a liar."
"Juliaannn....aarggghhh..."
Vanessa went crazy, her voice was even hoarse because she kept shouting the name of her husband who had ignored her. Vanessa finally sat on the floor after tired of screaming, she was completely ignored by Julian at this point.
Seeing his mother sitting on the floor in a chaotic condition, Diego slowly approached her, Diego gently touched the shoulder of the woman who had given birth to him. "Relax Mom, I’m fine. Don’t worry."
Vanessa lifted her face and looked sadly at her proud son. "No honey, you can’t leave this house. All of Mommy’s plans will be ruined if you leave."
"No Mom, as long as Mommy is still at home, everything will go according to plan. This time we have to give in to Mom, I admit that the security system that Yohanes Sanders made is really great this time. But believe me, I won’t just give up. Let Julian be happy this time because he managed to drive me away," Diego answered flatly with an innocent expression.
"Mommy won’t be able to do anything without you in the house, honey. You know Mommy does everything for you, right?"
Diego nodded slowly. "Yes Mom, I know. That’s why I asked Mommy to stay calm, I will take care of the rest. The important thing is that Mommy must stay in this house, take back that man’s heart, Mom."
"Yeah you’re right, I have to get back to Julian’s heart. Once I’ve managed to win his heart then I can..."
"Shh...don’t talk too loud, Mom. Don’t let other people find out about our plans." Diego immediately stopped his mother’s words by placing one index finger on his mother’s lips.
Vanessa nodded slowly, after that she then hugged Diego who was kneeling in front of her tightly. Tears welled up in her eyes again when she remembered the fate of Diego who had to be kicked out of the house again.
"I’m sorry, honey. I’m sorry, Mommy couldn’t protect you," Vanessa said hoarsely as she hugged Diego.
Diego shook his head. "No, it’s not Mommy’s fault. It’s my careless recklessness, Mommy don’t worry. Your son isn’t a stupid, whiny boy."
Vanessa nodded her head several times. "Of course not, you are my best son, Diego. My beloved son, Mommy, is always proud of you."
"Thank you Mommy, thank you for always being there for me. I promise I will soon make all your dreams come true after this, I will make Julian Sanders suffer for daring to make Mommy cry," Diego said again.
Vanessa gave Diego a kiss on the shoulder lovingly. "Mommy will always support you, honey. You don’t have to worry."
