Before Patrick could answer Gina’s question, the man had to let go of his embrace because Vanessa was already walking closer to them.

"Where have you been, honey? Daddy’s been looking for you," Vanessa said softly. Gross.

Gina smiled. "Just going around, I also just met Selena at the coffee shop near the park."

Vanessa’s eyebrows rose. "Selena? You met her?" she asked in disbelief.

Gina nodded her head quickly. "Yes."

The expression of displeasure was clearly shown on Vanessa’s face as soon as she heard Gina’s words, it seemed that Vanessa did not want her daughter to be close to Gina.

"Come on, let’s go in, Uncle Patrick has been waiting for you for a long time," Vanessa said again as she wrapped her arms around Gina’s waist, inviting her into the house.

"Uncle got an email notification from the security system of the safe that Diego was trying to break into," Patrick answered seriously.

Gina immediately covered her mouth with both hands. "Diego?"

Patrick nodded his head again, he then coded for Gina to act normal because Diego came and sat down with them.

"I thought Uncle was home," Diego said casually as he reached for the grapes that were on the table.

Patrick smiled. "Uncle is waiting, Gina."

"You heard, right? So if you go, don’t take too long," Diego said again curtly. "Besides, you’re weird, Daddy faints and you go away. Is your new boyfriend more important than Daddy’s health?"

"You have a boyfriend, Gina?" Patrick asked quickly, trying to distract Diego who was trying to judge Gina.

Gina nodded her head. "Yes."

"Wow... Uncle is very happy to hear that, what’s his name? When are you going to introduce your lover to Uncle?" Patrick asked again repeatedly.

"Tch...just an ordinary lowly worker, Uncle. Not an important person," Diego answered quickly.

Patrick immediately turned to Diego and gave him a displeased look. "Are you Gina? Why did you answer Uncle’s question?"

Diego’s face went pale, he looked displeased with Patrick’s words. Diego suddenly got up and left the living room leaving Patrick and Gina, he chose to ignore his mother’s orders to watch over Gina and Patrick.

"You have to watch out for that sneaky kid, Gina. Diego is far more dangerous than his mother., Uncle is worried he might do something to you."

Gina smiled. "I’ve been careful since the first time he came into my room when my eyes hurt that time, Uncle."

"What? What do you mean, honey?"

Gina took a deep breath, she then told what Diego had done when both his eyes were hurt when he was first brought home to the Sanders house by Patrick a few months ago.

"Julian, how is he?" Patrick asked Vanessa seriously.

"I have important things to talk about," said Patrick quickly cutting Vanessa off. while grabbing Gina’s hand and leading her to walk towards the stairs to go up to the second floor.

"But Patrick..."

"As Gina’s godfather I have the right to know who my daughter’s boyfriend is, that’s why I wanted to speak directly to Julian to confirm my daughter’s boyfriend."

Vanessa was silent, surprised. "So you want to talk about Gina’s boyfriend?"

Patrick nodded. "Yeah, what else? Do you have any information I don’t know, Vanessa?"
