His soul-Chapter 134: Diego’s back
Massimo took off the turtleneck shirt that was roughly attached to his body in his bathroom, and as soon as the shirt was removed from his body, two wounds were clearly visible on his left neck.
Instead of being angry, Massimo actually smiled when he saw the wound that now adorned his long neck.
"I consider this a debt, Gina. Sooner or later you will pay for it," said Massimo quietly with a smile.
Massimo laughed as he recalled how he had gotten the wound on his neck, Gina was like a stray cat when awakened from her slumber. That girl wasn’t pretending or acting like the girls she’d been buying from her pimps, the anger that Gina gave was very natural. Because otherwise Gina would have dared to leave a scratch on the neck of a Massimo del Cano.
Even though his wound was a little sore when exposed to water, Massimo still let his whole body be exposed to water, today Massimo is happy to be able to interact with Gina more. With all the drastic changes in Gina’s attitude that actually made Massimo happy, in his eyes Gina was really very different from the women who had been warming his body. And what’s even weirder is when he was with Gina, Massimo didn’t even think about touching her. Whereas for a girl Gina is really very beautiful, her body is also beautiful and of course tempting. But until this moment Massimo did not have the slightest thought to touch that girl, even though Massimo had many opportunities if he wanted to vent his lust.
Massimo didn’t realize that he had fallen into the charm of Gina, a dark Massimo synonymous with the dirty night world who slowly smiled because of Gina.
Well, love does bring a big change for someone.
Duk
Massimo hit the wall in front of him hard.
"No, I can’t love her. I don’t believe in love, there is no such thing as love in this world. There is only a mutually beneficial relationship between a man and a woman," said Massimo quietly speaking to himself with his hands still clenched against the wall. His wet hair seemed to stick to his forehead from being exposed to the water.

After the last guest left Diego seen getting ready to go back to his apartment with Jesslyn who was very sleepy, Julian who was still sitting in the living room seemed to continue to stare at Diego who was packing. There was a slight tingling feeling within Julian at this time when he saw his stepson.
Today if Diego wasn’t there, everything might have fallen apart, considering how messed up he was when he found out his father died in the hospital. Diego was the one who took care of everything neatly from the bathing process for Yohanes Sanders’ body to the funeral procession.
"Diego..."
Diego, who was wearing his jacket, immediately turned to his stepfather quickly. "Yes, Daddy."
Julian took a deep breath. "Sit down, there’s something Daddy wants to talk about."
"Now Daddy?"
"Yes."
"But I’m getting ready to..."
"It won’t be long." Julian immediately cut Diego’s words quickly.
Diego was silent for a few seconds before he finally walked over to his stepfather and sat beside him.
When Diego sat down Julian grabbed Diego’s hand and squeezed it tightly. "Thank you, thank you for everything you did today. Daddy doesn’t know what would happen if you didn’t take care of everything."
Diego smiled. "This is nothing, it is my duty as the eldest grandson in this house, even though my status is not considered." Diego’s lips thinned into a forced smile.
"For that, I’m sorry, Daddy couldn’t do much at that time."
Diego pulled his hand from his father’s grip. "It’s ok, after all it’s been a long time and now I’m also fine. Even though the wound in my chest hasn’t fully healed, I’m grateful that Grandpa took my last name. Seen by the loss of my last name, I know who it is. people who are still loyal to me and people who are just pretending."
Julian bit his lower lip quickly, he also immediately turned to Jesslyn who was sleeping on the sofa not far from him.
"Kiara Ramos, did she leave you because of her father’s orders?" asked Julian hoarsely.
Diego chuckled. "That’s right, after they found out that I wasn’t part of the Sanders family. Their attitude immediately changed 180 degrees, Kiara was even forbidden to talk to me anymore. Until finally a courier came to the apartment and returned our engagement rings, well, let’s not talk about it anymore. It still hurts a little bit to talk about it, and I’m fine anyway because Jesslyn has come to put out the fire that’s burning inside of me."
"Come back to this house again, son. Daddy will take care of everything again as before."
Diego raised his eyebrows. "What do you mean Daddy?"
"Go home, stay with us again in this house. Daddy made a mistake by letting you go that night and now give Daddy a chance to correct the mistakes that Daddy did that time," said Julian softly.
"Wait, so Daddy meant to ask me to stay back in this house?"
"Yes."
"But I’m not part of this family anymore, my name is Diego Alvarez, no Sanders name behind mine."
"Daddy will return the name Sanders to you, you are my son Diego. Although not from my seed but I am the one who raised you using these two hands, you are my son Diego. Son of Julian Sanders," said Julian hoarsely with a trembling voice holding back tears.
Diego, who couldn’t contain his happiness, immediately bumped into Julian and hugged him tightly, a faint sound of sobbing came from Diego as he hugged his father. Hearing Diego cry made Julian unable to hold back his tears.
"I’m sorry, Son. I’m sorry, you want to forgive Daddy right?"
"Daddy you don’t have to apologize to me, it’s not Daddy’s fault"
"Oh Diego, my Son. Daddy’s proud of you, Daddy promised nothing like this would ever happen again. You’ve been part of this family since you first set foot in this house decades ago."
"Daddy..."
Julian gave Diego a kiss on the head who was currently hiding his face in his chest.
Behind the wall, Vanessa was seen wiping the tears that rolled down her cheeks, she wasn’t crying because of Julian. Vanessa cries happily because Diego can finally come back to live with her. After all the effort she had put in over the past few months, her son was finally back in her arms.
"Finally all my efforts have paid off, calm down dear. After you return to live in this house and bear the last name Sanders again, Mommy promises to return all your rights as before, Mommy will revoke the position of the illegitimate child to be returned to you," Vanessa said in her heart, Her eyes gleamed sharply as she stared at Gina’s room which was on the second floor.
