His soul-Chapter 112: Sabotage
The news about Massimo del Cano that appeared at Casino de Madrid tonight managed to become the highlight of the media sharing, television and social media all covered Massimo del Cano. There are even some articles that say that Massimo del Cano is close to King Rafael, the Spanish king who is currently in power because of some of the photos circulating.
In the photo it is clear how Massimo del Cano smiled broadly at the king and queen, which never happened. Massimo looked carefree when he was with the king and queen, unlike the other businessmen who also attended the event. They will definitely maintain an attitude when with the king and queen.
But gossip is just a rumor, because neither the royal party nor Massimo himself gave any information regarding the circulating news.
Massimo smiled at the screen of his cell phone, reading the news that had spread about him. He looked satisfied because he was able to get rid of Lucas Dom in tonight’s event, his arrival was much more highlighted by the media than Lucas Dom.
"What’s your next plan, sir?" Martin asked cautiously.
"Wait, I wonder how that bastard Lucas Dom will react. I want to see what that guy can do after I show up," Massimo replied quietly as he leaned back against the back of the chair.
Martin nodded his head slowly, because there were no more questions he wanted to ask Martin then reactivated his cell phone. Because during the event he turned off his cellphone so he could concentrate on watching his master, as well as the other bodyguards. Everyone turned off their cell phones.
As soon as he saw Martin activate his cell phone, several of his subordinates also did the same thing. One minute as soon as Martin’s cell phone was activated his face immediately tensed when he read the message that had just entered his cellphone.
"S-sir..." Martin stuttered.
"Yes," said Massimo shortly without opening his eyes.
"Miss Gina left the house."
Massimo immediately opened his eyes when he heard Martin’s report.
"What did you say?" asked Massimo in a voice that went up two octaves.
"I just read a message from one of the bodyguards at home telling me that Miss Gina left the house shortly after we left, sir."
Massimo’s chest immediately sinks to hear Martin’s words, he can’t believe Gina will be so desperate to leave her house full of guards.
"Tell me more details," said Massimo hoarsely.
Martin took a deep breath, after which he then read out the message that had just entered his cellphone. Massimo is not angry with Martin who has just activated his cellphone, because it has always been a procedure if you are attending an important event with him, both Martin and his other subordinates will definitely turn off their cellphones to maintain the success of the event. That’s why Massimo wasn’t angry with Martin who had just reactivated his cell phone.
"Change our destination to Sanders’ house," Massimo said firmly to Anton the driver tonight.
"Yes, Sir."
Pablo immediately changed their destination to go to the Sanders family’s house, several other cars in front and behind the car escorting Massimo did the same thing by changing the direction of their destination towards the Sanders family’s house.
Massimo was absolutely sure that Gina would return home, so he asked his men to immediately go to the Sandres family’s house to just make sure whether Gina had really arrived at his house or not. While on the way to the Sandres family’s house there was no sound in the car, both Martin and Massimo were lost in their own thoughts.
Massimo’s motorcade had just arrived at the Sanders residence in fifteen minute, it seemed the universe was supporting Massimo at this point. The road they had taken a moment ago was really smooth, even though usually the road was quite congested.
God is on Massimo’s side this time.
Martin immediately opened the door for the master as soon as the car they were riding stopped in the yard of the Sanders family’s house.
"Why were there so many police cars in this house?" Massimo said to himself when he saw three police cars stopped in the Sandres family’s yard.
"Looks like they have guests, sir."
Massimo tried to calm down. "It seems so."
"Are we still in, sir?" Martin confirmed again.
"Of course, we’ve arrived at this house, Martin. How can we go home without bringing any results."
Martin nodded his head, he then gave a code to his other subordinates to immediately enter the Sanders house first to inform Julian and his family of their presence. While waiting, Massimo’s eyes immediately fell on Gina’s room, where the lights were still off. Even though he knew that Gina’s sleep never turned on the light, this time Massimo could not guess whether the girl was in the room or not. Massimo had been completely rendered unable to think clearly by Gina, he still hadn’t realized the big mistake he had made.
Not even a minute later, Massimo’s men, who had entered the Sanders house first, had already left, making Massimo confused.
"Why are you out?" asked Martin quickly.
"The situation in the house is not conducive, sir."
"What do you mean by not conducive?" Massimo joined in.
Just as the man was about to speak from inside the Sanders’ house, several young police officers who were still wearing uniforms came out, not long after that Julian and Vanessa Sanders appeared who were hugging behind a police officer who had a higher rank.
Julian hugged Vanessa who was crying, Massimo frowned when he saw Vanessa’s cry. Because the woman’s cry was excessive and seemed very artificial, it was really disgusting to see. It seems that if Vanessa becomes an artist, she will definitely get an Oscar because of her amazing acting.
Realizing the arrival of Massimo and his men, Julian then released his arms from his wife’s body and rushed over to Massimo. Seeing that Julian’s attitude of respect for Massimo made the policemen feel surprised, they felt strange to see a Julian Sanders willing to leave his wife who was crying to meet his guests.
Massimo smiled at Julian. "Sorry if I came at the wrong time."
"No sir, the cops are going home too," answered Julian politely, Julian being even more friendly to Massimo because Massimo had granted him a waiver not to pay rent for all his hotels for this month as a condolences for Barbara’s death. This is what makes Julian respect Massimo even more today.
"Oh, I see, what’s the need at this time of night when there are so many policemen visiting your house, Julian?"
"These cops told us about the accident that happened to Mommy last week and it wasn’t an ordinary accident." Vanessa immediately answered Massimo’s question quickly.
Massimo frowned. "What does it mean?"
"The car that Mommy was driving turned out to have been sabotaged by someone else sob sob..."
