Chapter 443: Chapter 443 So I married the love of my life?

Leo chuckled quietly.

"Alright, big girl," he said as he stood up. He picked up the clothes he had already prepared and handed them to her.

Bella’s eyes lit up the moment she saw them.

"A blue dress!" she gasped happily, hugging it to her chest. "So pretty!"

She turned and ran toward the bathroom, her steps light and quick.

"Hubby!!!" she called out loudly.

Leo followed to the doorway and leaned against the frame, watching carefully.

Inside, the bathroom was already prepared. The bathtub was filled with warm, gently steaming water, soft bubbles floating on the surface. The temperature was perfect, lukewarm, just the way she liked it. The air smelled faintly clean and sweet.

Bella froze for a second.

Then her eyes widened in pure delight.

"Wow..." she whispered.

Then she suddenly shouted, "Hubby, close door!!! I going to take bath!" her voice loud and excited.

Leo chuckled and closed the door.

She quickly slipped out of her clothes, careful but excited, and climbed into the tub with a happy little splash. The bubbles shifted around her as she settled in, her shoulders relaxing immediately.

"Smells nice," she murmured to herself, smiling.

Leo stayed right where he was. He knocked lightly on the door. "I’ll be right outside," he said calmly. "Call me if you need anything."

"Okay!" Bella replied cheerfully, dipping her fingers into the bubbles and giggling softly.

While Bella was busy bathing, Leo returned to work.

He sat on the couch with his laptop, fingers moving steadily over the keyboard. Messages kept coming in, files waiting for approval, meetings lining up one after another. His brows furrowed slightly as he focused, the familiar weight of responsibility settling back onto his shoulders.

For a while, the room was quiet except for the soft tapping of keys.

"Leo?"

He heard movement behind him but did not lift his head, his eyes still scanning the screen. "Hmm?" he replied absently.

Then a shadow appeared beside him.

Leo finally looked up.

Bella was sitting right next to him on the couch, freshly bathed, her hair still a little damp. She was holding her Moonbeam plush tightly against her chest, hugging it like something precious. Her chin rested lightly on the toy’s head as she leaned closer, peering at the glowing screen with wide, curious eyes.

The serious look on Leo’s face eased immediately.

Her eyes shone as she watched the lines on the screen move. "Hubby," she said softly, then smiled. "Can you teach me?"

Leo lifted a brow, amused. "Teach you?" he repeated slowly, glancing from her to the laptop. A faint smile tugged at his lips. "What exactly am I supposed to teach you?"

Bella puffed her cheeks and tapped his arm lightly with her small hand. "Don’t mock me!" she said indignantly. "I am learning!"

Leo chuckled under his breath.

"Alright," he said, closing the laptop halfway so she would not feel overwhelmed. He turned toward her fully. "What do you want to learn?"

Bella thought for a second, hugging Moonbeam tighter. "This," she said, pointing at the screen. "It looks very serious. I want to be serious too."

Leo smiled, warmth slipping into his voice. "This takes time."

"I have time," Bella replied confidently, nodding. "I’m a big girl."

Leo leaned back slightly, studying her face, then nodded. "Okay. Then we’ll start slow."

Bella’s eyes lit up instantly. "Really??"

"Yes," he said calmly. "But only if you sit properly."

She straightened at once, sitting upright with Moonbeam tucked neatly beside her like a student ready for class. "I am ready!"

Leo laughed quietly, something rare and genuine, and opened the laptop again, ignoring his pending work.

Bella leaned closer, her fingers hovering over the keyboard with sudden confidence. She tapped a few keys carefully, her face lighting up.

"Looks familiar," she said happily, nodding to herself.

"Familiar?" Leo asked, raising a brow as he turned slightly toward her.

She smiled proudly, hugging Moonbeam with one arm. "Yes. My dad taught me computer when I was very small," she said seriously. "Because I wanted to learn what he does."

Leo paused.

He could not help but picture a five-year-old Bella learning computers beside her father. The image was so soft and adorable that he had to stop his lips from curving into a wider smile. His eyes flashed with unfamiliar emotion. If he ever had a daughter, he would teach her too, guide her gently, though he would limit screen time and let her grow with music, games, and warmth instead.

"You’re amazing, little Bella," he said softly, and he meant it.

He reached for the trackpad and opened another folder, turning the screen toward her. The first image filled the display.

Bella froze.

It was their wedding photo on a cruise ship, breathtaking and bright. She looked beautiful, like a little fairy.

Her breath caught.

She stared at the screen, her eyes slowly filling as her lips trembled. "So..." she whispered, her voice small. "I married the love of my life?"

Leo’s chest tightened.

He went still, then nodded once. "Yes."

Bella sniffed softly, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand. Before the tears could fall properly, Leo spoke again, gently breaking the moment.

"I got a gift for you."

Her head snapped up instantly. "Gift?" Her eyes sparkled. "What is it?"

Leo stood and walked toward the side table. He picked up a small bag he had prepared earlier and returned, placing it carefully in her hands.

Bella looked at it suspiciously for a second, then slowly peeked inside.

Her eyes widened.

She pulled out the photo.

Her father.

Her whole face changed. She beamed so brightly it felt like the room warmed instantly. She hugged the photo tightly to her chest, pressing her cheek against it as if it were alive.

"Thank youuuu, hubbbby," she said happily, looking up at Leo with twinkling eyes.

Leo smiled.

"There’s more," he said gently. "You can also check Big Bella’s personal room. It’s next to this one."

Bella gasped.

She jumped to her feet immediately, still clutching the photo, excitement bubbling over. Without another word, she ran toward the door, her bare feet padding quickly across the floor.

Leo watched her go, his heart full and heavy at the same time.

Her words echoed in his mind.

"So I married the love of my life?"
