His After The Heartbreak (BL)-Chapter 181: Your Two Minutes Starts Now
Chapter 181: Your Two Minutes Starts Now
Chapter 181 – You two minutes start now.
Declan’s POV
They all looked at me with fear in their eyes.
Their backs were against the wall —literally. I could see the sweat dripping down their faces. Their knees shaking. Their silence screamed louder than any words.
I slowly raised my hand, showing them the cold, black gun in my grip.
Their eyes followed it. No one moved.
I looked at them one by one... with pure disgust. My own men. My so-called brothers. My trusted circle. The ones I fed, clothed, trained, and made rich.
Traitors.
"Who should I start with?" I said calmly, stepping forward. "Tell me... who should I kill first?"
No one answered. But their fear said it all.
They knew better.
They knew what I was capable of. They’ve seen it with their own eyes. They knew how wicked I could get when I lost patience. Hell, when I get really wicked, even the devil would sit in my classroom and take notes.
And yet... these bastards thought they could outsmart me?
Thought they could betray me and live?
Fools.
I took a step closer, eyes burning.
I looked into each of their faces, searching... for a sign, a reason, an answer.
What did I do to deserve this?
Yes, I was hard on them. I ruled with an iron fist. But I never let any of them starve. I never let any of them suffer unnecessarily. I made them. I gave them power, wealth, protection.
But that wasn’t enough.
They didn’t want to work for the king anymore. No.
They wanted to be the king.
So instead of leaving like men... they planned to get rid of me. Kill me. Bury me. Then steal everything I built with blood and sweat—so they wouldn’t just be their own boss, but a rich boss.
Dumb bastards.
I took another step forward.
"So?" I asked coldly, my finger brushing the trigger. "Any last words?"
Still... silence.
Then one of them finally found his tongue.
David.
The bastard.
The leader of this pathetic circus.
"You really think we didn’t plan this out?" he said, forcing a fake laugh. "You think we didn’t know you’d find us?"
I smiled. "You’re talking a little too confidently for someone pissing in his pants."
"We were once under you," he said, puffing his chest. "We studied you. Watched your every move. We learned all your tricks. We predicted this moment. We came prepared."
I chuckled.
"Prepared?" I repeated, raising a brow. "Oh... you mean that rusty little gun you hid in the car boot?"
His eyes twitched.
"Or maybe... you mean the tiny bomb in your back pocket?" freeweɓnovel.cøm
His jaw dropped.
BOOM!
Their car exploded behind them.
The impact made them all flinch. Two of them dropped to the floor screaming. The rest stared at the burning car, frozen in fear and disbelief.
I smiled like a demon wearing a crown.
"Oh wow," I said calmly, stepping even closer. "You really thought you came prepared, didn’t you? But you forgot one thing..."
I leaned in a bit and whispered, "I don’t need to come prepared. Because I’m always prepared."
David’s face turned pale. The others were shaking like leaves.
But the idiot still found his voice.
"At least... at least I still have the bomb," he said, lifting his chin, like he had just played his winning card.
I tilted my head and smiled wider.
"The bomb?" I repeated. "Ohhh... you mean the one I already deactivated five minutes ago?"
The moment I said those words, I saw it.
He did exactly what I expected.
That idiot reached into his pocket and pulled out the bomb like he had something to prove. Like he was about to shut me up.
But fate had other plans.
BOOM!
The damn thing exploded right in his hand.
I didn’t even flinch.
Instead, I laughed. Loud and hard.
"Bloody bastard," I said, grinning ear to ear. "You brought a bomb, and it blew up in your own damn hand?"
He screamed like a dying animal. "NO! NO! NOOOOO!"
His voice echoed through the air, raw and filled with pain. The others turned to him in horror, eyes wide, frozen in shock.
One of them even tried to take a step back.
"Aww, why are you all staring at him like that?" I said, smiling like the devil himself. "This is beautiful. This right here... is art. Don’t be scared of it. Enjoy the view."
They looked at me like I was mad.
Maybe I am.
Maybe I’ve always been.
I slowly raised my gun again, pointing it at one of them... then shifting to another... then another. I wasn’t firing. Just playing with their fear. Tasting it. Savoring it.
"Hmm..." I said thoughtfully, tapping the gun gently. "Who should I kill first?"
They didn’t breathe.
My eyes locked on David.
"Should I kill you, Dave?" I asked slowly, tilting my head.
He opened his mouth, but no sound came out.
I chuckled and shook my head. "No. No, no, no... I can’t kill you. Not yet."
His face lit up with the tiniest bit of hope.
I crushed it with a smile.
"Not because I can’t, but because I don’t want to. Not now. Killing you right now would be too easy. Too quick. Too merciful. And honestly? Too boring."
I leaned in just a bit.
"And I like my revenge slow."
He was still holding his hand. Or what was left of it.
The bomb had shredded his fingers. The flesh was torn, burnt, bloody. You could see the bone. He was using his other hand to cradle the mess like it would somehow fix it.
"You know what really shocks me?" I said, staring at him. "You tried to take me down... me, Declan... and this was the bomb you brought?"
I pointed to his bloody, half-destroyed hand.
"This piece of crap couldn’t even take out a complete grown man, and you thought it was gonna kill me? And destroy my car?"
I laughed again. Louder this time.
"You really disappointed me, David. I used to think you had brains. I guess I gave you too much credit."
He was crying now.
Real, pitiful, ugly crying.
"I’m bleeding," he muttered. "I’m gonna die... I’m dying..."
I bent down slightly and whispered with a smirk, "Stop overreacting."
Then I stood up straight and aimed the gun at his head.
"You are going to die... yes. But not just yet."
"You’re going to bleed out, David," I said coldly, staring him straight in the eyes. "Every drop of blood in your body... gone. But it won’t be quick. Oh no. It’s going to take a little longer. Which means..."
I smiled slowly.
"You’ve still got a few more minutes to live. Just enough time to watch your wife take her last breath."
His eyes widened. His jaw clenched. Then, like I knew he would, he snapped.
"If you touch my wife," he growled, his voice rising with rage, "if you even as much as pull a single strand of her hair—I swear to God, Declan—I’ll make you regret it. I’ll do something to you that’ll make you hate yourself for the rest of your miserable life!"
I tilted my head, pretending to think.
"Wait... David? That was a threat, right?"
I raised an eyebrow and took a small step closer.
"Was that supposed to scare me? Was I meant to drop my gun and fall to my knees? Huh?" I sneered. "You want me to hate myself? How are you going to do that?"
I chuckled. "You gonna kill me? Hurt me? Take something I care about?"
He gritted his teeth, the veins in his neck popping.
"I’ll do more than kill you," he spat. "I’ll make your life hell. One call from me, Declan—one call—and your son? Your baby mama? They’re gone."
Ah... finally.
That’s what I’d been waiting for.
I smiled.
"Go on," I whispered. "Say it again."
"I tell my boys to finish them, and they will." His voice shook with confidence.
I didn’t respond right away.
Instead, I slowly raised my gun, aimed it, and—BANG—fired straight at one of the so-called "boys" behind him.
The bullet hit the guy square in the forehead. He dropped like a sack of rice, no scream, no sound—just gone.
David flinched.
"Oops," I said, smirking. "Looks like you’ve got one less boy to make that call."
Then I turned to the other guy on the left. He was already trembling.
BANG!
Down he went too. Dead before his knees even hit the floor.
"Now tell me again, David," I said, walking slowly toward him, "who exactly is going to help you finish the job? Your dead boys?"
He looked around like he couldn’t believe what just happened.
His face was pale. His lips trembled. A single tear escaped down his cheek.
Pathetic.
"Don’t cry now," I mocked. "I thought you came prepared?"
He didn’t say a word.
Good.
"Now here’s the deal," I said, raising the gun and pointing it directly between his eyes. "You’ve got two minutes to make that call. Two minutes to tell whoever’s still alive.
"Two minutes to make that call. Tell whoever you need to tell. Because if those kids and their parent don’t make it out alive... I swear, you won’t just lose your wife."
I lowered my voice to a dangerous whisper.
"I’ll wipe your entire bloodline from this world."
He blinked at me like I was already his worst nightmare.
I smiled and stood up slowly.
"Your two minutes starts now."
