In the end, I was surprised to see them suddenly raise their hands towards that tree.

As they raised their hands, there was this green light that came out of their hands and flowed into that tree.

The tree didn’t seem to resist the green light that flowed into it and even greedily sucked it in as if it wanted as much of this power as possible.

But after absorbing the green light for a bit, it seemed to slow down the flow of the green light. It seemed like it was slowly becoming satisfied with whatever energy this green light represented.

Once it was satisfied with it, it seemed like it was beginning to release the same green energy as it had swallowed.

But when it released this energy, there was this strange phenomenon that appeared.

This green energy gathered in front of it before suddenly forming what seemed to be a portal that was made of that green energy. That portal became bigger and bigger until it was the same height as a person.

Then after that, the portal opened up so that it was wide enough for a normal person to walk through.

After this green energy portal was formed, Qilynn turned back to me to say, "This is the way forward, please come with me."

I gave a nod as I followed her, but I couldn’t help taking a look at the tree that they had gathered around.

I wanted to see if there was anything special about this tree.

But it didn’t seem like there was anything special about it.

If I had to say that there was something special, then it would be that there was some kind of carving that was on the trunk of this tree. I didn’t recognize what kind of carving this was, but it seemed like the green energy was gathered around it.

"Is that some kind of magic array?" I couldn’t help wondering to myself.

It was possible that it was some kind of magic array based on the knowledge that I received from Faust, but I didn’t recognize what kind of magic array it was.

But I did recognize that it was some kind of magic array.

I didn’t have time to think too much about it as I walked through the green portal.

The moment that I walked through, there was a familiar sight that appeared in front of me.

It wasn’t as if I had ever seen this sight in person before, but I had certainly seen this scenery in the past. This was the scene that was shown when the player was first introduced to the Tree of Life.

So seeing this scenery made me certain that we were in the right place.

"There was an entire hidden space created to hide the Tree of Life. As expected of the high elves, one of the largest forces in this world." I couldn’t help thinking when I saw the Tree of Life in the distance.

This hidden space that they had created wasn’t a small one at all since it was able to hold the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life itself wasn’t small either as it was a large tree that towered above us.

But the most surprising thing about this place was the amount of nature energy that was flowing through here.

It was surprising that the plants that were in this place weren’t overgrown at all with how much nature energy was here. Any plant that absorbed this kind of nature energy would surely experience explosive growth.

However, it seemed that the plants were being managed in this place.

I could see that there were a few figures that were in the distance.

It made sense since the Tree of Life was a very important thing for the elves. It was only natural that there were some of the high elves that lived in the hidden space where the Tree of Life was to protect it.

After entering this space, those figures seemed to notice us and came over to see what was happening.

But they didn’t seem to have any hostility towards us.

It seemed that they recognized Qilynn and the elders, so they knew what was going on.

Instead of looking at Qilynn and the elders, they turned to look at me and the two high elf girls beside me.

When they looked at us, it was as if they were looking at juniors.

Then the one that led the group turned to look at Qilynn to ask, "Are they here for the initiation?"

Qilynn gave a simple nod in response without saying anything.

When they heard this, I could feel Nimue and Rania moving closer to me and grabbing my arms from behind. It was as if they were nervous about what the high elves of this place and Qilynn were talking about.

It seemed that they didn’t know what this ’initiation’ was.

But that didn’t mean that I didn’t know what this ’initiation’ was.

In fact, this ’initation’ was actually my goal in coming here.

The high elves that journeyed to the Tree of Life mostly came to it for one reason, it was to receive the blessing and baptism of the Tree of Life. That was what this ’initiation’ was known as.

Though they came seeking it, it was hard for them not to be worried if they didn’t know what it was.

That was why Nimue and Rania were like this.

After they discussed a few more details, Qilynn said, "Please follow us to the base of the Tree of Life. That is where we’ll hold the ceremony."

The leader of the guards for the Tree of Life looked at us with a smile before saying, "There’s no need to be afraid, all that will happen is that you will receive the blessings of the Tree of Life."

Though him saying it like this really wasn’t that assuring.

So he added, "I am Umero Featherguard, I am the high priest that watches over the Tree of Life."
