Her Dark Desires-Chapter 97: Apologize

Eliana felt those words deep in her heart because a part of her had once thought about it. Did little treasure really leave her because he couldn’t bare to have her as his mother, was that it?

Before those words could sink into her brain and heart, she felt a hand on her shoulder that immediately brought her out of her thoughts.

Eliana looked at the hand on her shoulder and then at the owner, "Zach."

Zach moved Eliana to stand behind him and did something that surprise everyone, including Eliana. He slapped Sloane so hard that she fell to the floor and in a cold domineering voice, he said, "I dare you to repeat what you just said to my wife."

There was immersed fear in Sloane eyes as she looked at Zach who was looking down at her "You....you can’t do this. This is abuse and I will call the police."

At the mention of police, Eliana glanced at Leon who was also looking at her intensely. She immediately looked away and wondered why he was looking at her like that.

"Go ahead and call the police. Do you need a phone?" Zach asked and took a step forward making Sloane to moved backward.

Sloane could taste blood in her lips just from the slap, and her ears were also ringing. She ignored the look in front of everyone and was about to get up when she heard Zach voice coldly asking "Did I ask you to get up?"

"What?"

Zach brought Eliana to stand in front of him and said "Apologize."

Sloane looked at Eliana and shouted, "Why should I apologize?!"

Eliana glanced at Zach and was about to tell him not to worry about it but one look from him was able to shut her mouth up.

"This is abuse of power and everyone here can see it."

"Can they?" Zach looked around and asked "Does Eliana not deserve an apology from Sloane?"

"Yes, she does."

"I can’t believe she has the nerve to say abuse of power when she is the one who started the abuse. What mother says such a thing to their daughter."

"She should apologize."

"Right, you should apologize to your daughter, Sloane."

Eliana internally scoffed at their comments. If Zach had told them that Sloane is a murderer, they would have agreed with him, just like that.

However, Eliana could not to deny the joy she was currently feeling not just from Zach defending her but from the humiliation Sloane was facing.

"I won’t apologize. I have done nothing wrong. All that I said was the truth!" Sloane shouted.

"Do I look like I’m joking with you? Fine, don’t apologize if you don’t want to, I will take it that you also wish to never walk again in your life."

"W-what are you planning to do?"

"Do you think you can disrespect my wife in front of me and leave this place as if nothing happened? Here is the deal Sloane, it’s either you apologize to her right now and on your knees, or you leave this place without a leg, and I’m not bluffing."

Without a leg? Eliana looked at Zach and truly felt like he wasn’t bluffing. No, Zach can’t do that here, not when Leon who if a detective was watching. Before she could persuade stopping, she said Sloane getting down on her knees and saying "I’m sorry."

"Louder, I’m sure she didn’t hear you and look at her."

Sloane clenched her fist tightly as she looked at Eliana with unshed tears in her eyes saying "I’m sorry for what I said to you."

Eliana cleared her throat and replied "Although you don’t deserve my forgiveness, but it’s fine. Apology received, you can get up now."

Sloane but her lips so hard until she could taste blood and stood up.

Zach held Eliana hand and was about to drag her out of the party when Eliana pinched him and whispered "I’m not done."

Zach glared at her and said, "You are done."

"Zach, just give me ten minutes. Why did you think I invited Leon? I just need some more..." Before Eliana could finish her words, a woman rushed to the party shouting

"Sloane!"

"It’s time for the real party to start." Eliana said with a smile as she watched the woman standing before Sloane.

"What is Helina doing here?" Zach asked coldly.

"Relax, I am a hundred percent sure that everything will go according to plan." Eliana said with a smile.

"Where is my daughter, you witch?" Helina asked.

Sloane, who was still in shock at the humiliation she just, suffered became even more shock when she saw Helina standing in front of her. Why is Helina standing in front of her?

"I’m asking you where my daughter is? You took her away from her school right?"

"What is wrong with you? I... I do not even know who are you." Sloane said, hoping that this stupid woman would take the hint and get out of here, but instead it was as if her words trigger Helina the more.

"Did you just say you do not know me!"

Sloane chuckled softly and said, "I think this is a misunderstanding, why don’t we discuss this outside."

"I am not leaving this spot until you tell me where my daughter is."

"You are causing a scene."

"Tell me, why did you kidnap my daughter? Is it because I told you that I no longer wish to harm Eliana anymore.?

"What nonsense are you saying?"

"Do you think that I wouldn’t find out about the lie? You informed me that Eliana was responsible for Edward’s death and I believed you, but it was all a lie. You just wanted to use me to kill your daughter."

"What?" Henry asked as he looked at Sloane. "You wanted to kill Eliana? And who is this woman?"

"I don’t know her, I swear!"

"You are still denying not to know me. To be honest, I also do not wish to know you too so just tell me where my daughter is."

"I said I do not have your daughter. Have you perhaps gone mad?"

"Mad? Don’t mess with me Sloane. If I was capable of stabbing that pretty boy at the rooftop then trust me when I say that I am also capable of ending your life."

People gasped at her words and some even moved backwards, wondering who this woman had stabbed.

Eliana, on the other hand, smiled and looked at Leon, "I got you your suspect and her partner. Confession from her lips."

Leon smiled and said, "You are even more entertaining than I thought."

Zach frowned at his comment but did not say anything.

"Well, I’m glad I was able to entertain you; however, it’s time for the arrest." Eliana said and there was certain sparkle in her eyes as she spoke about seeing her mother arrested.

"Not yet." Leon replied.
