Help! the four Alpha's are obsessed with me.-Chapter 187 Family shattering secret..
Back at the ambulance park, Daniel Xylander and Draven still stood where they were, discussing their next move.
Tension hung in the air. Daniel was lost in thought; destroying the Lancaster family was his utmost goal, but he wondered what would remain for him afterward.
"Dan, darling, where are we staying tonight? After that little incident, we’ve been standing here like refugees," Draven stated. Daniel turned to face him, then looked toward the ambulance where Adrian was being treated.
The cut wasn’t deep, so they had decided to let the paramedics handle him in their presence. Daniel still needed Adrian and didn’t want him far from sight—these days, poison slithered everywhere. Who knew when a nobody might try to sway his mind? A loyal dog was all Daniel needed Adrian to be, and soon that would come to pass.
"We still have work to do here at the mansion. I am back, remember? What’s the point of returning if I can’t shake things up?" Daniel laughed. "And also ravage my men—isn’t that needed?" He winked, giving them a sultry look that stirred a primal need in both.
"Daniel, as much as I love your risk-taking, you’re underestimating this family. We don’t underestimate our enemies—it could get us killed. And don’t forget you have kids waiting at home, with Alexander attending to them all alone..." Xylander shuddered as he spoke. He couldn’t fathom what those poor babies were going through with Alex, whose inability to care for things made him worry. His surprise that Daniel had trusted the babies to Alex’s care still lingered.
Daniel listened to Xylander’s usual whining. Of course he was worried; they always were.
"I’m not underestimating anyone. Maybe they should be scared of me, not the other way around—isn’t that it?" Daniel purred, his boots clicking on the ground. Just as he was about to continue, a doctor emerged from the ambulance.
"Something isn’t right with the patient," the doctor explained. Daniel raised a brow. Besides a little cut, what else could be wrong? Were they playing games with him now?
"Is this your plan to make me release him because of some weird situation?" Daniel questioned. The doctor raised his hands in surrender.
"No, that’s not true, never! It’s just... he’s been forgetting things. I think he’s experiencing severe memory loss, which could become fatal," the doctor broke the news. Daniel’s expression went blank for a moment.
Memory loss? How did that even happen? From a stab wound?
"Fuck it! Just treat his wounds and bring him here. Anything else is between me and the patient," Daniel declared. Draven watched, sighing.
"What, guys? If I’m to be taken seriously, this is the new me. I’ve changed, yes. What I experienced wasn’t just a cup of tea—I can’t be laughing like a little girl anymore. So, can we get this over with and move to the mansion? I have some orders to pass on about who the new owner is." Daniel explained, then grinned before entering the ambulance a moment later.
Once Daniel was gone, Draven jerked Xylander to face him. "What did you do, Xyle? Don’t tell me you got the house for him?" he asked, his face serious. Xylander laughed at Draven’s expression before realizing he was completely serious.
"Shit, did I do anything wrong?" Xylander asked, clueless.
Draven facepalmed. "Fuck! Don’t you see? It means he’s staying in the mansion. What do you think is going to happen—peace? And if he stays there, our babies won’t be far, will they? That’s extremely dangerous." Draven’s words finally made Xylander realize he had messed up big time.
He tried to talk to Draven, to see if he could fix what he’d done, but Daniel emerged just then—and not alone. Adrian walked beside him, the two deep in discussion.
"Clean this mess, Xylander. I can’t let Daniel go to that house crawling with demons. Who knows what they have planned? That old hag—I don’t trust her one bit. She’s probably worse than your own grandma." Draven’s mind raced, anxiety pulling him from the moment. With their family now involved, this revenge could really destroy them.
"Damn, why did I agree to this in the first place? He’s going to be mad if we cancel now. We’re so screwed..." Draven raked a hand through his hair, leaving it disheveled. As he tried to think, his eyes met Daniel’s—who had suddenly appeared nearby. Draven jumped, startled. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
"Oh shit, that was creepy. What are you doing here, Daniel?" Draven asked. Daniel studied them both.
"We’re heading to the mansion. Have you forgotten? And why are you both acting so suspicious, as if you’re plotting against me?" Daniel pointed at the two men, their faces instantly crestfallen and alarmed.
Daniel began cracking up, laughing hard. "Oh, come on, get your shit together. I trust you both with my life—why would you plan against me, especially concerning something that’s been my agenda forever?" The two men glanced at each other and laughed awkwardly, scratching their heads. Daniel kept glancing at them as if they were a bunch of creeps.
"Stop that, you’re scaring me. Like something happened. Come on, let’s go." He returned his gaze to Adrian. "So, can you walk?" he asked. Adrian nodded, but he wore a lost expression as he surveyed the surroundings, as if it were his first time there.
Daniel pondered whether Adrian was truly experiencing memory loss—that wouldn’t suit his plans at all.
"I’m okay. Where are we again?" Adrian asked. Daniel stopped, looking deep into those dark eyes for any mischief, but found none—only confusion and a faint light. Daniel, who knew Adrian well, saw that this man was different. Adrian’s eyes usually held no light, only darkness, and recently they had been filled with regret and death. But now... why did he see hope and light?
"This is my homeland, and you’re with me to help with my revenge." As he said it, he saw Adrian tremble slightly. He seemed genuinely startled, as if the word revenge didn’t fit.
"Are you sure I’m the one supposed to do this with you?" Adrian asked. Tired of the act, Daniel finally lashed out.
"Enough of this pretense. If you’re trying to avoid my plan, spit it out now," he commanded.
Adrian only looked more lost. He stopped staring at Daniel and looked down at himself.
Draven and Xylander, watching from behind, tried to understand what was happening. By then, the scene was almost empty—all the guests were gone, and only the sound of crickets from the garden pierced the night.
"What is Adrian doing? Is he faking amnesia now?" Xylander asked. Draven shrugged, remembering what the doctor had said. If it was fake, he was doing it well—but either way, they couldn’t be sure.
Minutes passed, and Adrian wasn’t responding. The road to the mansion was just meters away.
"Adrian, you’re hindering my goal, and I don’t like it. Stop this now—it’s pissing me off," Daniel warned, eyeing the man who still looked incredulously pale, as if he hadn’t tasted food or water in days. That look gave Daniel pause.
As he continued interrogating him in the dread-filled night, someone suddenly grabbed his hands roughly, stunning him. Draven immediately pulled out a pistol, only for the intruder’s face to be revealed—Daniel’s brother himself.
Angelo Lancaster, his childhood nightmare.
"Help me, Daniel, please... she’s coming," Angelo pleaded. Daniel rolled his eyes. Why would he do that?
"They want me to get married, but I don’t want to, please," he confessed. Daniel, his hands still gripped tightly, scoffed.
He rolled his eyes and smiled disdainfully. "And how is that my concern? So what if you don’t love the partner shoved at you?" Daniel snickered. "It’s not like you’re gay. As long as you can perform, it’s fine." As he spoke, he saw Angelo shaking his head.
"What is it, Angelo? Stop mumbling—it’s irritating me," he barked. Angelo stood upright and let out a breath.
"I’m gay, brother. I’m a complete gay dude... and I think I like it," he confessed. Daniel, who hadn’t expected that even in his wildest dreams, could only gawk.
Draven and Xylander shared the same surprise—and not just them. Apparently, Dorothy had been pursuing Angelo and now stood hidden behind a pillar, overhearing. Daniel, who could see the wretched woman clearly, smiled.
Angelo Lancaster, the precious heir of Alessandro Lancaster... gay. What could be more scandalous than this? Oh, his father was going to go completely mad, hearing both his sons were not straight.
Fuck, now this is epic, Daniel thought.
