Help! the four Alpha's are obsessed with me.-Chapter 146 Innocent Michael III
Daniel slept with one eye open; he couldn’t relax at all. Anytime he closed his eyes, the only thing he could see was Alessandro’s spiteful look, hyenas chasing him, and the dead eyes of Alexander as he was being shot by Matt. All this kept him awake till it was midnight.
Sneaking out from the room, he saw an unexpected person in the sitting room looking through several reports on him and his omega identity. Michael was so deep into the video that he hadn’t known Daniel was at his back till he felt a touch, which made him tremble before realizing it was Daniel.
"Damn, you scared me..." Michael held his chest, which rose so high. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
"You were scared? Wow, good to know that you feel fear like others," Daniel joked, and Michael giggled.
"Because I always pose that I am this happy fellow doesn’t mean that I am void of life issues and problems. I can assume you have met Cindy." Michael questioned, and Daniel nodded.
The girl was a sensitive type and naive to things of the world; his only hope is that she doesn’t get taken advantage of.
"Yeah, a sweet one..." Daniel responded, and Michael shook his head. Then he took a glass and poured wine into his cup.
"No, not that. Talking about her condition, with that society won’t accept her, and I have to take care of her all the rest of my life. Not that I am complaining, but I can’t help but feel bad that her fate has already been decided so cruelly without giving the girl a chance to decide her fate.
She never got the opportunity to choose the type of life she wants, and now she’s crippled from childhood all because of a stupid accident. It’s just not fair."
Michael turned sober, something that Daniel didn’t dream of seeing. This was it, that facade that people wear to fool outsiders of their own sufferings.
He knew life was a bitch, and no matter how glamorous your life might seem from outside, inside was just a feast of maggots crawling all over.
"I don’t think society has given up on her yet; she still has to make her own way, and just like other great people, I believe she can change her fate from a cripple to someone great, a great cripple," Daniel cemented.
Michael face-palmed himself before passing a drink to Daniel.
"Now drink up; I know you couldn’t sleep well. You can use this opportunity and get drunk." Michael laughed out.
Daniel just plastered a fake smile, which looked obviously fake; he just couldn’t do it like Michael. He very much can’t fake happiness; only with his expression would he be exposed that minute.
"You’re an omega. Surprised that was a secret, because when I met you I noticed," Michael revealed, and this got Daniel to pause and look at him.
He didn’t believe it, and wouldn’t either.
How did he know? It wasn’t like he was in his heat period then, so he was bluffing. Right, his heat period; his pregnancy hormones haven’t kicked in for a while, and he can’t remember the last time he had sex. God help him if it attacks him here.
"Liar. Except my family and my husband, you and others don’t have a clue. Those delusional people all think I am a macho male like them and likes pussy, which disgusts me a lot," Daniel grimaced while thinking about it.
He drowned another cup while finally laughing and giggling; the alcohol was working its effects already.
"Michael, do you know how I see you?" Daniel asked, and Michael shrugged.
"How do you see me?" He himself had a high alcohol tolerance, so before it could hit him he must have gulped like eight cups. During his high school days he was known as a fish because of this badassness when it comes to drinking, but so far he decided to tone it down when he arrived at his adulthood.
With his condition and sister to take care of, he can’t afford leaving her so early in such a cruel world.
"Well, you’re a pretentious asshole, probably someone evil or a schemer who is trying to advance to the top," he mumbled while tilting his head and laughing more loudly like a deranged person.
"Oh my gosh, that face! I really got you, really bad, isn’t it?" And he laughed one more time again, cackling like some kind of demon.
Michael couldn’t move; Daniel’s words had an immediate effect on him. Was he really how he was perceived by him?
"But I sorta feel bad for you, that life couldn’t take some evil people crawling around, but to think of trying to snatch an angel like you is just so despicable." Daniel turned emotional, grabbing Michael’s chin and tilting it aside.
"I don’t know, but I feel like I will taint you just by coming close; you’re just too angelic." Daniel’s eyes peered deep into Michael’s blue ones before blinking and laughing so hard.
Michael rose up from the chair; what Daniel said just seconds ago made him alert, because it proved that he knew that he had a terminal disease and was probably going to die soon.
That was confidential information that no one knew of except his doctor, and the woman was in a binding contract not to reveal a word to anyone, so how did he get to know?
He ruffled his hair and placed both of his hands on his head while circling around. This just made him remember that his time was ticking and poor Cindy doesn’t know.
He was heartbroken that he would leave his sister, but there was no other choice. He had one hundred days, and a few months had passed by, so death was inevitable at this point.
Daniel was unaware of Michael’s distress; all he could do was gulp more drink while speaking gibberish. Then finally he fell off the table, but Michael with a nice sight caught him fast and grabbed him by the waist.
"Daniel, dear, don’t you know you’re pregnant and drinking too much isn’t good?" He had forgotten about this and let him consume much; now the tipsy guy was wriggling on him like a worm.
"I want to be as kind as you, Michael; can you teach me?" Then he stepped closer, his nose brushing that of Michael.
Michael stiffened; his deep blue eyes were like a magnet pulling Daniel in, and when it seemed their lips might brush, Daniel fell asleep on his shoulders, letting the darkness claim him.
"Fuck!!! I almost fell for that..." Michael smacked his head and let out a sad smile, carrying Daniel in a bridal style to his room.
He didn’t get to question Daniel on what really happened, because social media was on fire because of him; his fans were crazy people and kept defending him and Xylander with slanderous posts to back them up.
