Chapter 307: Rescue and Revelation

Laxus was being cruel.

Why was he doing this?

Why was he hurting him?

"Hic... ugh... uwaaah...!"

Rocco buried his face in the sheets, sobbing uncontrollably.

As his body curled up in fear, Laxus pressed down on him from behind.

The hot sensation brushing against his most vulnerable spot was unmistakable, making fresh tears well up in his eyes.

There were no kisses, no caresses.

Laxus wasn’t touching him anywhere else.

And yet, he was already trying to put it in.

Even someone as clueless as Rocco could understand what that meant—it was going to hurt.

It was definitely going to hurt.

"Stop... stop... Laxus... please, no..."

His voice came out weak, but Laxus showed no sign of stopping.

Why? Had he done something without realizing it? Had he somehow made Laxus angry?

No matter how much he thought about it, he couldn’t understand why Laxus was doing something so cruel.

What would make him stop?

The confusion, the sadness, the pain, the sheer suffocating despair—Rocco could do nothing but cry, his sobs wracking his small frame.

Then, at last, Laxus pressed his hips forward, forcing himself inside.

"Ahh! No! It hurts, it hurts! Laxus!"

"...Hah. Consider yourself honored. I will plant my seed within you to create a new vessel."

"It hurts, it hurts!"

"...I shall consume your pure soul after that. Bear a worthy child, my sacrifice."

Laxus was whispering something, but Rocco couldn’t hear it.

Of course, he couldn’t. Just enduring the pain took all his strength.

He could feel it—Laxus’s entire length was inside him now.

And then—

CRASH!

The glass doors leading to the balcony shattered as something burst into the room.

"Ahh!"

Rocco flinched, curling up instinctively.

Even Laxus seemed startled, withdrawing his hips slightly in response.

Rocco lifted his tear-streaked face, trying to understand what had just happened.

What he saw was a massive, fluffy creature slamming into Laxus, sending him flying against the wall with a groan of pain.

"Huh...? Wha...?"

Before he could process anything, someone scooped him up from behind.

Startled, Rocco let out a cry and looked up—only to meet a familiar face.

Scarlet-red hair swayed gently, and deep black eyes, filled with warmth, gazed down at him.

It’s his is beloved attendant.

"Georgio...!"

"Yeah, yeah, it’s me. I got you now."

Georgio stroked Rocco’s hair as he sobbed uncontrollably.

The overwhelming sense of relief spread through him, and little by little, his panic began to subside.

Just as he started to calm down—

A deep, menacing growl rumbled from behind.

Rocco turned his head in a panic.

"Huh? That fluffy... Lion... is that..!?"

A massive lion stood before Laxus’s collapsed body, radiating pure murderous intent.

Its fur bristled, and it let out another low growl of warning.

That large, fluffy body... and, more than anything, those familiar ears—ears he had playfully nibbled on so many times before.

That was when Rocco realized.

This lion was none other than one of his most beloved attendants—Ragar.

"Ahhh, looks like Ragar’s completely snapped. Well, not that I blame him. I’m pretty pissed too, you know?"

Another low voice rumbled behind Rocco, brimming with anger.

Slowly, cautiously, he turned around.

Georgio’s usual smile had vanished, leaving behind a cold, unreadable expression.

Behind him stood an enraged Ragar, and on the floor, Laxus lay motionless, looking as if he were on the verge of death.

"W-What the hell is going on here!?"

The scene was pure chaos, and Rocco found himself dizzy from trying to process it all.

"W-Wait! Stop!"

He hurriedly threw up his arms to stop Georgio and Ragar, who looked moments away from pouncing on Laxus.

At his frantic shout, the two of them froze in place.

Alright, at least Laxus wasn’t going to die instantly.

Now, Rocco just needed to stall for time, talk his way through this mess, and somehow get his dumb brain to catch up with the situation.

"W-Why are you two even here!?"

He blurted out the first question that came to mind.

Now that he thought about it, the timing was way too perfect.

It was almost as if they had been watching him the entire time...

No, more than that—there was no way they could have arrived at that exact moment unless they had been watching him nonstop.

Could it be...?

A terrible realization struck him.

Georgio blinked his eyes at the question, then immediately broke into a bright, cheerful smile.

"Eh? Well, we’re your bodyguards, aren’t we? The moment we heard you were staying over, of course we kept watch from the window."

"...Huh?"

"It’s just what we always do! I mean, we’re always watching, you know? Your cute sleeping face, and even the disgusting things that bastard does to you."

Rocco’s face turned bright red in an instant, like a train engine letting out a loud steam blast.

The sheer shock left him frozen in place.

Georgio who is noticing his reaction, flailed in a panic.

"What’s wrong!? What happened!?"

Rocco stared at him in disbelief with his mouth hanging open.

Wait.

No one had ever told him this.

He had no idea they were always guarding him.

He had no idea they had seen everything—every single thing that happened between him and Laxus.

No way.

This couldn’t be real.

Did they really see everything?

They saw him and Laxus clinging to each other naked?

They saw him gasping as Laxus pushed inside him?

They saw every kiss, every embrace—everything?

That was—

That was—!!

"NOOOOOO!!!"

"Waaah! What’s wrong, Master!?"

In a fit of embarrassment, Rocco weakly smacked Georgio’s shoulders.

Georgio looked down at him in confusion before something seemed to click.

His expression softened, and he patted Rocco’s head, smiling reassuringly.

"It’s okay, it’s okay. No need to be embarrassed! We weren’t laughing or anything. We were just jealous, thinking, ’That damn Del Fiore bastard, it’s so unfair, he should just drop dead.’ That’s all."

T-That’s not any better!!

As he reeled from Georgio’s completely unhinged response, his embarrassment faded slightly, and the heat in his face began to subside.
