Heavenly Opposers-Chapter 168 168-Things To Do
'Sigh....the life ahead is indeed tough'
Azrail amended as he saw through his requirements to evolve into the one and only being, some of them being extremely hard, if it weren't for the fact that he has the information he does, all of the requirements would be close to impossible and some look like they are.
Take the one about killing one of the sons of Surtur.
Who is Surtur?
Well, who doesn't know about the great demon of fire Surtur? one whose prophesied to bring about the end of Asgard, heck from what Azrail knows this guy in the future does bring about the end of Asgard, one of the few SSS-ranked realms in the cosmos and now he Azrail just the starting beginner is required to kill one of his children?
Yeah, talk about a suicide mission..... f𝚛e𝗲𝔀e𝚋𝑛o𝘃𝒆𝗹.c𝗼𝒎
'Looks like I will be making a lot of enemies'
Azrail didn't feel fear at the enemies coming upon him, he knew that path he wanted to walk would only be grating him a greater amount of adversities, the one in front of him is just the beginning of his path and that itself begins with pissing off a lot of powerful people in the cosmos, scrolling down Azrail could even see more evolution regiments bringing it to a total of 21.
But what was really getting his attention is the rest of the people he must kill to get his hands on certain powerful abilities, the one where he needs to get the eye of the spirits, Azrail knew where to find this person as his story was mentioned in the book.
There is also the fact that he is or is going to be part of the faction of Heavenly Opposers, though Azrail's not sure such a faction will again exist with Valencia being by his side now but even then the things he needs to take belong to the chosen powerful ones of the cosmos, being that could be called as protagonists of their own stories.
Ones gifted with great talent and power, where they will luckily rise to great heights, gathering, power, resources, and women along the way. To finally end up within the Heavy Oppoers headed by none other that the great chosen one among them, an overpowered existence that makes one question their own life.
'Though I can't lie the prospect of killing those stuck-up bitches does sound nice'
Azrail had dealt with a few members of the Heavenly Opposers, heck he was even killed by one of the members of the Heavenly Opposers, and all he could tell about it is that they are a bunch of self-pitied pricks that just keeps screaming that they are the only one suffering.
It's true that they did go through a certain amount of trouble and bad thing throughout their life but didn't the things that happened in their life make up for it? didn't they reach a level of power and authority that only few can gaze upon? even then they kept yapping like they were the only ones to suffer.
Azrail pitied their fate as he came to know about what the Heavenly Immortals did to their life but after reading the book and getting to know the deeper truth he began to despise all of them, running behind him and hunting him like a dog, it did anger him but what made him seethe in emotions were their hypnotic words of justice.
The only one he felt genuine respect and worth was for the leader of the Heavenly Oppsers and a few key characters that truly knew about reality and what should be done to create a better future.
'This could be good for me too, I can kill them and take their talent while raising them as my own undead army'
While the option of creating his own 10 undead sounds easy but getting his hands on 10 of them with battle power ratings above average in the whole cosmos is not easy at all, there is also the fact about the several other options, he knows where and when to get them but the process will be annoying as hell.
If Azrail has too mark then the hardest one will be awakening his other 2 flames, As Azrail keeps moving in his cultivation the unawakened flames themselves transmit to him what must be done to be awakened and after his arduous effort he managed to grasp the procedure to awaken two of them but the moment he got it he cursed out.
Compared to the conditions for waking up new flames, the conditions for awakening the ones he already has felt like child's play but then again, the awakening of his two flames were due to coincidence?
'The purest pull of lighting marked at Origin?'
Yeah, Azrail could think of a few that could help him but among them, only a few won't directly kill him and possibly grant him the ability to take their property to awaken one of his flames, though that would mean making an enemy of some GodKing level beings,
'Zeus, Thor, Indra, Baal, Raijin or Dain Mu, I have to choose'
These are the few Godly beings that preside over Lightning that have the item he needs, the only problem being that he can't make a connection with each one of them, each of them belongs to peak-level Gods, not ones that rose to Godhood but ones there at the beginning, the first generation gods with power.
Zeus-The king of the Gods, and the ruler of Olympus, the problem being that he has an extreme God mentality and is well of an asshole if you put things lightly.
Thor-The hammer-wielding god associated with lightning, thunder, storms, and the future ruler of Asgard. The problem here is that well he is a battle maniac and quite dangerous.
Indra- known as the god of thunder and ruler of the sky and one of the best friends of Poseidon. After a certain act that he deeply regretted no one can find him and even if Azrail knows getting to him is fucking hard.
Baal-The master of the sky and lord of violent storms. If Azrail was to get chummy with him and give him what he wants he will be making an eternal enemy of several powers.
Raijin-The god of lightning, thunder, and storms, the drums in his hands capable of making the sounds of thunder that end and bring life.
Dain Mu-The Chinese lightning goddess, married to the thunder god Lei Gong, she isn't a first-generation God but has control over her husband, and he knows what she wants if he could get her mirror then it to would be a start.
'Looks like this will be a long journey'
Azrail lamented as he understood that there's a lot to plan and he as of now has no desire to be stuck on his current level of power for too long.
