Heavenly Dragon Doctor Son-in-Law-Chapter 142 - 143: Qin Long Must Die a Terrible Death!
Li Min clutched her bandaged nose and forehead, which had just been treated in the infirmary, and looked on with cold disdain.
Jiang Tiantian gritted her teeth, pointed at Li Min, and yelled, "Li Min, you’re a worthless bitch! This whole mess today is your fault! You’re the one who pissed someone off, yet you expect us to go out and clean up your mess! Qin Long helped you, and you still have the nerve to make sarcastic remarks?
"If it weren’t for Qin Long, you’d probably be the one dead today, you ungrateful whore!
"Although Qin Long is disabled, he stood up for everyone during the crisis. You, Bai He, and Li Min aren’t even worthy of being compared to him! He got you out by trading places with you, and now that you’re safe, you kick him while he’s down! You two are worse than animals, a truly despicable pair!"
Jiang Tiantian stood with her hands on her hips, relentlessly cursing Li Min and Bai He.
Li Min’s face burned with shame and immense anger. "Aren’t we talking about something else? Why would he threaten to bankrupt our Li family? A useless, crippled man who lives off Xuewu. He’s not so arrogant now, is he?"
Li Min scoffed, then fell silent.
Jiang Tiantian was about to continue her tirade but stopped when she noticed tears streaming down Tang Xuewu’s face beside her.
"I’m going to marry A’Long! I saved him three years ago, and I absolutely cannot let him face this alone!" Tang Xuewu cried out, dashing toward the Galaxy.
"Even if it means death, I will not abandon him!"
The more Tang Xuewu thought, the more frantic she became, running wildly toward the Galaxy.
"Xuewu, come back!" Jiang Tiantian shouted, rushing over and wrapping her arms around Tang Xuewu’s waist to stop her. "Qin Long worked so hard to rescue you from the lion’s den! How can you go back there! I absolutely will not let you go!"
But Tang Xuewu shoved Jiang Tiantian’s hands away and continued to sprint forward.
Hearing this, Zi’er drew a longsword, tying a black headband around her forehead. The blade scraped against the ground with a screech, kicking up sparks.
She was about to approach Tang Xuewu to comfort her when a figure slowly emerged from within the Galaxy.
It was Qin Long, supported by Brother Rui. He was followed by several agile female bodyguards. They looked like the entourage of a major boss emerging from seclusion, an incredibly impressive sight. Brother Rui was even bowing subserviently as he escorted Qin Long out.
"What the hell?"
Li Min’s eyes widened in disbelief, and Bai He was equally stunned. Tang Xuewu and Jiang Tiantian both stared, their beautiful eyes wide and hands covering their mouths, unable to believe what they were seeing.
Qin Long... was unharmed? He’d been respectfully escorted out of Yan Hong’s Galaxy? It was completely baffling.
Qin Long had spoken so coldly to Yan Hong, practically slapping her in the face. Yan Hong would never let someone leave so easily. Otherwise, how would she maintain her authority in the Galaxy? And yet, Qin Long was completely unscathed.
Tang Xuewu dashed toward Qin Long.
"Alright, you can all go now." Qin Long waved at Brother Rui and his people.
"Yes, Young Master Qin." Brother Rui understood the gesture and led his people away, disappearing quickly.
"A’Long, are you alright?" Tang Xuewu immediately scrutinized Qin Long’s body, her beautiful eyes filled with worry.
"Of course, I’m fine," Qin Long said softly, gently taking her small hand.
Embarrassed by his actions, Tang Xuewu didn’t pull her hand away. Instead, she blushed and lowered her head.
It was only now that she realized she truly had feelings for Qin Long. She had always thought it was out of pity and a promise she’d made to his grandmother. But just a moment ago, the thought of him dying made her feel as if a part of her had been torn away, and her heart couldn’t find peace. The mere possibility of him leaving her was excruciating.
Now, seeing Qin Long return safely, her pretty face beamed with joy.
"Qin Long, you’ve got some real guts!" Jiang Tiantian exclaimed as she ran over, followed by Bai He and the others.
Qin Long glanced at Jiang Tiantian. "I promised Xuewu I’d come home. How could I go back on my word?" He completely ignored the others, finding Bai He and his group utterly disgusting.
"Did you beg Sister Hong like a dog? Is that why she spared your life?" Li Min and Bai He taunted.
"How I got out is none of your business," Qin Long replied coldly without looking up. "At least I’m not like some people who were too scared to even let out a peep when it mattered, caring only about their own pathetic lives!"
Then, he turned and spoke gently to Xuewu, "Let’s go home and make soup dumplings."
"Okay," Tang Xuewu nodded obediently and helped Qin Long leave.
No matter what, she was incredibly happy that he had returned safely.
"Looks like that kid begged like a dog to save his skin," Li Min jeered, clutching her bandaged nose as she laughed mockingly. "So damn shameless!"
Qin Long ignored her barking. Zi’er immediately drove the Rolls-Royce over and re-fastened her sword to her side.
In the car, Tang Xuewu kept pulling at Qin Long’s clothes, checking for wounds. Only after checking him over completely did she finally relax.
"Alright, alright, why are you stripping me? There are other people here, you know?" Qin Long teased with a mischievous smile.
Tang Xuewu’s pretty face immediately turned beet red. "Who... who’s stripping you? I was just..."
Before she could finish, Qin Long took her hand and said softly, "I’ll protect you, Xuewu."
Tang Xuewu shyly lowered her head and quickly changed the subject. "A’Long, it looked like those people were escorting you out. Didn’t you promise me you wouldn’t get involved with the underworld?" Her pretty face showed a hint of anger.
"Of course not. They had other business to attend to, and we just happened to leave at the same time," Qin Long quickly improvised.
"Tell me the truth. Do you know some big shot in the underworld?" Tang Xuewu pouted, her beautiful eyes filled with suspicion.
"How could I? I just told Yan Hong what happened, I cured that Mr. Zhang’s back pain, and when I mentioned I was Tang Rulan’s grandson-in-law, she let me go," Qin Long said, spinning another white lie.
"Is that so?"
Tang Xuewu was initially skeptical, but upon hearing that Qin Long had cured someone, she slowly nodded. Although a trace of doubt remained, her grandmother, Tang Rulan, had been a famous and respected figure in Jiangzhou. Many people still showed her respect, even though she had been dead for several years.
"Mm, what’s important is that you’re back safely." Tang Xuewu’s face immediately lit up, her worries vanishing into thin air.
「Feifei High-End Club, Jiangzhou」
This was Yang Fei’s company, an establishment dozens of times more impressive than the Galaxy. They had initially been suppressed by Han Bing, but now that he was dead, all of his former resources and clientele were flowing to them. Some of the bosses and factions that used to work with Han Bing had also switched their allegiance to Yang Fei. As a result, business was booming.
After taking Xue’er home, Qin Long had been invited here, to the supreme private room of the Feifei High-End Club.
Beside him, Yang Fei was dressed in a revealing gown, her beautiful face and stunning figure on full display.
"Young Master Qin, please," she said.
