Chapter 137: Chapter 138: Take Everything Away!

Li Min was about to turn her head and start shouting, but she swallowed the words just as they reached her lips. A dozen or so uniformed guards, all over six feet tall, suddenly burst into the room.

"You’re all in big trouble today! Every last one of you is coming with me!" a one-eyed man, clearly the leader, roared as he scanned the crowd with a fierce glare.

Hearing this, everyone instinctively looked toward Qin Long. Could these be the people he called? Otherwise, why would they charge in right after he made that call? And why ask for Bai He by name? Does Qin Long actually know powerful people?

The dozen burly men had now surrounded everyone in the room. Tang Xuewu and Jiang Tiantian, terrified, backed up against the wall, their pretty faces pale with panic.

"Well? Has the cat got all your tongues?" the one-eyed leader taunted, cracking his knuckles with a menacing look.

Seeing these imposing men, the male students who had been acting tough earlier now trembled and lowered their heads. Some even dropped to the floor and played dead, while one was so scared he wet his pants. It was Jiang Tiantian who, biting her lip, mustered the courage to speak up. "Who are you people? What do you want?"

The one-eyed man glanced at her and let out a booming laugh. "All these men, and not a single one is as brave as this little girl? What a bunch of spineless trash!" he declared. "Which one of you is Li Min?" he then asked coldly.

"I... I am... Boss, what do you want with me?" Li Min stammered, her body trembling with fear.

"You’re the one who hit Manager Zhang?" the one-eyed man sneered. "You’ve got a death wish!"

A wave of realization washed over the crowd. So these aren’t Qin Long’s men. They were called by the guy Li Min slapped! Still, to act so boldly on Galaxy’s turf meant these people were not to be trifled with.

Li Min’s heart pounded in her chest, all her previous arrogance gone. She quickly scurried behind Bai He for protection.

"Boss, my name is Bai He," Bai He said, gritting his teeth while pretending to be calm. "Could you give me some face?"

"Face? Who the hell are you to ask for face?" one of the thugs behind the leader shot back, cracking his knuckles and looking at Bai He with utter disdain. "If you don’t want to die, shut your damn mouth!"

"Are you guys looking to fucking die?" one of Bai He’s sycophants shouted, trying to sound intimidating. "Our Brother Bai is Red Sister’s sworn brother!"

"Oh, what a coincidence," the one-eyed leader boomed. "We work for Red Sister too! Now stop your damn posturing and get the hell out of our way!"

He had no interest in dealing with a bunch of snot-nosed kids. His only job was to bring them back; it was a direct order from Yan Hong.

"Brother Bai, hurry! Call Red Sister!" Li Min whispered anxiously, tugging at his sleeve.

But Bai He was cursing her internally. That stupid Li Min is a real airhead. He had only claimed to be Yan Hong’s sworn brother to show off. He had only ever seen her once from a distance when he attended a banquet with his grandfather. Yan Hong doesn’t even know who I am, okay? Now that I’ve said it, wouldn’t it be embarrassing to take it back?

Suppressing his panic, Bai He announced, "Don’t worry. There’s no need to bother Red Sister over something so trivial. I can handle this myself. Let’s go with them. I refuse to believe anyone would dare cause a scene on Galaxy’s territory. I’ll just have a word with Brother Rui, and this will all be sorted out."

Hearing Bai He’s confident declaration, the panicked crowd instantly felt calmer. With Brother Bai here, what’s there to fear?

"Let’s go! Let’s go!"

"They won’t dare lay a finger on us!" Li Min added with a cold smile.

The one-eyed leader just smirked. He’d seen plenty of naive young girls like her before, girls who had yet to learn life’s harsh lessons.

Bai He, Jiang Tiantian, and everyone else were led away by the one-eyed man and his crew. Qin Long was taken along with them. He had intended to leave with Tang Xuewu, but she refused to abandon Jiang Tiantian, so naturally, Qin Long wasn’t going to leave either.

As they were being led away, everyone huddled behind Bai He, while Qin Long slowly followed at the back, leaning on his crutch.

"Everyone, don’t be afraid. As long as I, Bai He, am here, nothing will happen today," Bai He declared, puffing out his chest with bravado. He was certain that no one would dare get violent inside Galaxy. Who’s the boss behind this place? Red Sister, Yan Hong! Who in their right mind would dare start a fight in her establishment? Because of this, he wasn’t worried at all.

His words seemed to reassure everyone, and their anxieties began to subside. They showered him with praise and flattery.

"That’s right! Everyone just stick close to Brother Bai."

"Nothing will happen. Girls, you don’t need to worry," Li Min chimed in, waving her hand before shooting a disdainful glare at Qin Long. "Unlike a certain someone, who’s useless for anything but causing trouble and ruining everyone’s mood," she said, crossing her arms with a mocking sneer. "I suggest he gets on his knees and begs for mercy later. Brother Bai certainly won’t protect him..."

The others immediately nodded in agreement. Even Jiang Tiantian looked at Bai He with admiration. Without him, we would have been done for today. He really is a young, rich, and powerful young master. With him around, everything will be fine!

Bai He reveled in the praise, a smug grin spreading across his face. He felt like a true prince. He shot a contemptuous glance at Qin Long hobbling on his crutch, his heart filled with scorn.

However, as he followed the one-eyed man, Bai He realized they were heading toward the Heavenly Immortal Stage. He couldn’t help but swallow hard. The people from the Heavenly Immortal Stage are all major players! He was getting seriously nervous.

Yet Li Min and the other sycophants remained calm, completely confident that Bai He could handle anything.

It wasn’t until he followed the one-eyed man into a private room within the Heavenly Immortal Stage that Bai He suddenly felt a chill run down his spine, his body trembling slightly. Normally, a quick word with Brother Rui would have solved this. At worst, I’d just have to spend some money. But the people from the Heavenly Immortal Stage... I absolutely cannot afford to offend them!

"Alright, we’re here. Go on in," the one-eyed man said, looking at Bai He with a cold smirk. I think I heard someone say this kid is Red Sister’s sworn brother? We’ll see about that in a minute.

"Trying to scare me? Fine, I’ll go in," Li Min declared defiantly before Bai He could even ask a question, and she strutted confidently into the room.

The others quickly followed her inside.

"Miss, I’ve brought the troublemakers," the one-eyed man announced as his men shut the heavy doors behind them.

"Good," Yan Hong replied with a slight nod.

The group looked around, taking in the opulent decorations, the stunningly beautiful Oirans standing at attention on either side of the room, and the dozen or so imposing, red-clothed guards. They were completely baffled. But what shocked them most was the sight of the esteemed Brother Rui bowing subserviently as he poured tea for the woman seated in the center.

A sense of dread washed over Bai He. This is bad. I’m afraid we’ve provoked someone truly untouchable. There’s a very good chance I won’t be able to handle this.

"Which one of you is Li Min?" Yan Hong asked slowly after taking a delicate sip of her tea.

"What do you want with me?" Li Min shot back, stepping forward aggressively, not recognizing the woman before her.

"My, what a brave little girl you are," Yan Hong said, crossing her arms and resting one slender leg over the other, her eyes filled with a cold light. "To think you’d dare to strike my friend."

"Your friend?" Li Min repeated, startled for a moment before her defiance returned. "And just who do you think you are?"

Hearing this, Yan Hong burst into laughter.
