Several individuals were discussing the war between the Karabi and the Xi Qi Empires. Nobles also discussed in covert chambers the joint decision of both empires to join hands and claim the energy mine previously shared by the two empires trying to annihilate each other, for themselves.

Some also were curious about why Empress Ruth and Emperor Xernovia were still not making any moves towards Kailen Darkhaven.

It seemed there was more to this fellow than meets the eye.

"As expected, Xernovia and Ruth will take advantage of the situation between Karabi and Xi Qi to claim the energy mine for themselves," Kailen thought as a glint flashed through his eyes.

"The energy mine would have been really useful. However, I’m not powerful enough to get involved. Also, if I try manipulating the two empires to turn on each other, it will raise suspicion and might backfire, which will in turn ruin everything."

Kailen took a sip of the beverage and continued, legs crossed, back reclining on the sofa.

"Ruth and Xernovia are wary of me. It seems their instincts are sharp. They know there’s more to me than meets the eye. However they don’t have any plans of making a move on me. There’s no need to make enemies of them as long as they stay in their lane. For now, I can only keep improving my strength. This is actually good. With all the focus of the surrounding Empires away from me, I can build quietly." A glint flashed through his eyes.

" The only issue is my cultivation speed has really slowed down ever since I got to the universe level. To think after spending six months in the pocket world, I’d only break through to the rank 2 beginner stage universe level, even with the high density of universe energy in the pocket world and elemental mirroring. I suppose the amount of universe energy needed for breakthroughs to the next level at the universe level is simply too monstrous.
