He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 577. No backing
The news of Kailen breaking into the universe level, a few weeks after becoming a supreme stage dao level lifeform, sent ripples and shock throughout the universe.
The other arbiters in particular didn’t know how to process this.
Just a few weeks ago, they had been discussing with him how difficult it was to break into the universe level, and how each of them were stuck in the supreme stage dao level, because they were gradually trying to attain a consummate law stage.
Remembering the conversation they had with Kailen Darkhaven, they could not help but chuckle in self mockery and disbelief.
He must have thought they were a bunch of clowns.
Kailen Darkhaven could not even be defined from the perspective of a genius anymore.
He could not even be defined with the term monster.
Was there even a particular term that could fit him?
Many powerhouses in the universe also sighed and discussed among themselves.
In the history of the universe, for as far as records could recall, had there even been someone like this before?
Someone with this kind of cultivation speed?
For how long had he been cultivating?
Someone with such an exceptional law comprehension ability?
Someone with such deep mastery over runesmithery and alchemy?
Kailen’s loved ones in particular were not surprised by his feats anymore.
After everything Kailen had done, they were frankly not surprised anymore.
They would have been rather shocked, if this had not happened sooner.
When the news reached them, they only nodded in satisfaction and focused on their personal growth too.
The Arman and the Astral Empires immediately became high tier Civilisations with the breakthrough of Arbiter Darkhaven into the universe level.
Many were wondering which of the supremes would choose Kailen as their disciple.
However, the Supreme Council released a piece of news that sent shockwaves through the universe again.
The news was that none of them could accept Kailen Darkhaven as a disciple because he was too exceptional to be taught anything.
At first, this news made many sigh in awe of the former tenth arbiter.
The supremes really thought this high of him?
How much of a monster was this fellow?
However, many universe level powerhouses narrowed their eyes at the implication of this.
All the past Arbiters, on getting into the universe level, became powerhouses that threatened the power balance of several high tier civilisations and factions because of their potential and prowess.
Some of them even caused civilisations to kneel before them and submit their power to them.
However, on getting to the universe level, each former arbiter would be chosen to be a disciple of a supreme.
Due to this, even though several universe level powerhouses in the high tier Civilisations saw the former arbiters as threats to their power, they had to swallow their pride and watch them grow.
They could not rope them into their factions with benefits, and they could not kill them even if the former arbiters were to reject their invitations to join their factions and empires, if they were to be in the wrong shape of mind to dare to invite them to join them.
No one wanted to be on the bad side of the Supremes.
However, Former Arbiter Darkhaven was a different case.
He had no backing.
None of the Supremes had accepted him as a disciple because apparently he was too exceptional to be taught anything.
Many scoffed.
His exceptional abilities, which were supposed to be a reason why he would easily become a supreme’s disciple, a status where no faction would dare try any nonsense with him, had in the end been the reason why he didn’t have any backing now.
It seemed Kailen Darkhaven was someone they could rope into their empires and factions.
If he resisted, there was only one outcome for him.
He would be killed.
Many former arbiters less exceptional than him had become hegemons that overthrew rulers of empires and sat on the heads of faction leaders in the high tier Civilisations.
The worst part was, no one dared to root them out before they became too powerful, because they had the backing of the supremes.
Former Arbiter Darkhaven, more exceptional than them, would be beneficial as an ally, or a worse threat as a neutral party.
And this time, because he had no backing, there were no reservations when it came to using any means possible to rope him in or getting rid of him using any means necessary if he didn’t give them an ear.
Some universe level powerhouses however, decided to remain neutral and not act when it came to former Arbiter Darkhaven.
However, the majority decided to plan to make moves on him.

High tier Civilisations.
Arman Empire.
Royal Palace.
At the moment, the focus of the discussions had finished spending some time with Arrie and the others in the Dao Enlightenment Academy in the virtual universe.
He had vacated his post as an arbiter.
The position of the tenth arbiter had been removed.
Currently, Kailen was standing on a balcony in the royal palace of the Arman Empire.
A little girl of about twelve years old could be seen standing by him.
This girl was naturally Felicia.
"Uncle."
"Yeah Feli.."
"I’ve been hearing that some people will try and harm you? Uncle, it’s not true right?" Felicia spoke with concern in her voice.
"No one can harm your uncle even if they try Feli." Kailen ruffled her hair with his hands.
"Okay Uncle," Felicia spoke warmly.
She turned around, about to leave the balcony.
"Going to spend time with Joseph err."
"Uncle, what are you saying?"
"Heh. Anaya will be having a sister in law in the near future when you are all grown up I suppose."
"Uncle... you..." With that, Felicia turned around and stormed off, headed towards who knows where.
The sound of approaching footsteps resounded on the balcony.
"Heh, my little girl is growing up isn’t she?" It was Phila who had just appeared.
"Indeed she is. Time really flies." Memories from earth flashed through Kailen’s eyes as he replied.
None spoke a word for a moment.
"You’ve come really far Kailen. We are all proud of you," Phila said. "We will always be here when you need us."
"We have all come really far," Kailen replied warmly. "And thanks Phila."
"No problem. Phoebie and Elysia needs my help with dinner."
"What are we having?"
"Lasagna."
"Bless you."
"Hehe... oh, uncle is here."
Phila said as she saw Kailen’s grandfather come to the balcony.
She nodded warmly to Kailen’s grandfather and left to help Phoebie and the empress with dinner.
"Grandson."
"Old man."
"You have something on your mind." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂
"A bit. Just doing some planning."
"I can see that. Anyway, how’s my granddaughter in law doing?"
"She’s doing great. Said she extends her greetings. Currently on an academy mission. She’s in the rank 4 intermediate stage Dao level now."
"Wow... quite impressive."
"Yeah."
"You miss her?"
"Everyday."
"Dinner is ready..." Phila’s voice resounded in the background.
The grandson and grandfather left the balcony for dinner...
