He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact-Chapter 535. Setting the pieces in Motion( Inspirational capsule Chapter)
(This Chapter is dedicated to Aaninja. Thanks for the inspirational capsule man)
In one of the academy residential districts.
In a villa.
A man’s eyes suddenly squinted. This was a rank 3 intermediate stage Dao level lifeform. This person belonged to the naga race. He was a demihuman. Several individuals from other races were seated in the room with the person. They seemed to be having some sort of discussion about something. Suddenly, the others in the room realized that the man from the naga race, the leader of these people, had suddenly become quiet.
This was the leader of the Cool Gang, one of the many cliques in the academy that preyed on weaker students and enslaved them for their benefits.
"One of our members is dead," Cool said.
"Boss Cool, you usually don’t make a fuss over these things. Deaths in the academy are a normal thing. We can just find a weakling and let them replace the one who died, right?" a member replied.
Everyone nodded. Why was Boss Cool reacting strongly to this?
"The person who died is my cousin. Usually I would be quiet about something like this because I’m not some brain dead idiot who’d go looking for trouble from everyone who kills a member of the Cool Gang. After all, reacting to such occurrences all the time does not end well. One has to choose their enemies carefully," Cool said, chin resting on his hand. Coldness flashed through his eyes. "But I can’t just remain quiet about my cousin, right. He went to the alchemy society for a registration today, and this is what happened. Worst part is that it’s trending."
Cool sent the others in the room, the trusted lackeys of the Cool Gang who had stood by Cool from the start of the gang, the notification he had just come across on one of the alchemy society forums.
As the group watched the video, their eyes revealed traces of coldness.
"He seems powerful, but in the face of intermediate stage Dao level lifeforms like us, he’s nothing," one commented.
"A specially enrolled student, huh. No wonder his methods are not ordinary. But unfortunately for him, he has to die," another added.
"We won’t kill him," Cool said. "He’s too valuable. He’s a rank 4 Black Flask alchemist with a purity level of 99 percent. Did you guys not check the video details?"
Everyone remained silent.
Their boss continued. "We can make use of him very well in the area of alchemy. Just think of the money we can make. With his demeanor, someone of his caliber will never want to be a slave. All the more reason why that’s the best punishment for him."
"Okay, boss. When do we hunt him?"
"Now."
"How do we find him?"
"Is that not obvious? We find him."

Meanwhile, Kailen had returned to his villa.
He had registered himself as a rank 4 runesmith. Fortunately, no one tried any nonsense over there.
He rubbed his head annoyingly.
"Now I have to deal with big fry, huh." 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Kailen sighed. He went through the pictures he took concerning the people he had killed at the alchemy society. The moment he killed them, he knew there would be repercussions for killing some of them, if not all of them.
With the pictures, he would find out more about those behind them and know how to proceed.
Kailen contacted someone in the academy. This was a student information broker.
This person specialised in finding detailed information about academy students. One would pay a certain amount of universe coins to the person and they would fish out the information you needed about a student for you.
Kailen used an anonymous account and sent the pictures to the anonymous account. The anonymous account sent an information back.
[Three of them have backers, the rest don’t.
One is the cousin of a rank 3 intermediate stage Dao level lifeform. His name is Cool.
He’s from the naga race, and is the leader of a clique called the Cool Gang.
Another person is the lackey of someone from the Blood Claw team, a clique made of vampires. Their leader is at the rank 4 intermediate stage Dao level. Name is Raven Claw. Those guys protect their lackeys and will do anything to kill anyone who harms their lackeys.
The last person with a backing belongs to the Santoria Gang. She’s one of the mistresses of the Santoria Gang leader, Santoria, a rank 4 intermediate stage Dao level lifeform.
So, you are probably fucked. Here’s their locations and how the gang leaders look like, just like you asked...alongside unresolved feuds they have among themselves.]
Kailen sent the universe coins to the person. After that, he disconnected the conversation. He was not worried about the person leaking the details of their conversation because there was a rune oath in place to check that. After all, no one would have wanted to do business with the information broker if he didn’t have client-broker confidentiality.
With the information Kailen had now, he started thinking of a plan.
"Now that I know their locations, and unresolved feuds, I know what to do. It’s about time to make use of the shadow hounds again. Hound 1, hound 2, hound 3, come out."
The three shadow hounds made an appearance in their humanoid forms.
Quickly, they bowed.
"Lord."
Kailen nodded. No matter an awakener’s level, they could never detect the presence of the three shadow hounds if they decided to hide themselves. This was their special ability. This was why they were perfect for these kind of plans.
"Write this message on a suitable place in the Cool Gang leader’s house, a place where he can see it as soon as possible.
I had a nice time with your girlfriend at the party ten years ago. Still too weak to come for her aren’t you? She keeps saying I’m better at it all the time than you’ll ever be. Heh. Piece of trash.
Do the same for the leader of the Blood Claw crew. Write this message .Just saw a video of one of your members dead in one of the registration halls of the alchemy Society. I remember when you just watched helplessly when I killed your brother during one of the ranking battles. Hope you won’t be such a wuss like that time?
The last one for the Santoria Gang leader. So one of your mistresses died, huh. Seriously dude, what is wrong with you? Just when I nailed her last night, she just had to go and die?"
Kailen told the shadow hounds to enact the plan.
"Yes, Lord."
The shadow hounds erased all their traces and disappeared.
Kailen’s eyes flashed with a playful glint.
He had set the pieces in motion. He just had to observe for now.
