Several watched to find out what was going on.

Arrie and the others had knowing expressions as they watched. The moment they saw the person seated on the ground of the planet , they understood.

There was a time where the crown prince had been so strong that they were thinking of amassing forces to deal with him and those who would rally behind him.

But life was unpredictable. One thing had led to another and this was the outcome.

They headed towards Astra.

Astra floated from across Kailen. He held something like a pencil. The pencil was burning with black flames. It was some sort of rune inscribed artifact. The rune inscribed pencil glowed, amplifying the power of his flames.

He simply drew several arcs on the air in a diagonal manner.

Several streaks of black flames shot towards the approaching elemental arcs from Kailen.

The two attacks collided. Shockwaves spread everywhere from the clash. Several parts of the planet crumbled. Kailen’s attacks however, swallowed the attacks of Astra. The attacks appeared before Astra in a moment.

However, his figure flickered and he appeared before Kailen.

He was about to launch an attack. But Kailen’s figure flashed, using a teleportation rune to appear behind him.

Then, sickening pain engulfed Astra’s skull.

Kailen had launched a lethal kick on his head.

No affinities , just a simple , lethal kick.

Blood fell from Astra’s mouth. Before he could even fall to the ground, Kailen’s figure appeared before him.

He held Astra’s head, slamming Astra’s head into the ground. The place caved in and a portion of the planet cracked, and fell off from the impact.

A kick landed in the abdomen of the fellow. He was hurtled backwards, crashing into a floating asteroid some distances away from the planet.

The asteroid was completely destroyed.

Kailen appeared again before him.

Astra looked battered, weak and powerless.

Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth as his face was battered, several parts of his fractured skull oozing with blood.

A laughter of self pity, melancholy and strange relief emerged from his mouth. He floated weakly in the void , barely holding himself in place.

" After seeing what you just demonstrated in the Arman Empire, I knew the showdown I initially expected between us would not happen.

But I still clung to a false sense of hope. I expected it to be at least a bit thrilling. But to think you’d be so cruel to beat me one sidedly. I’m actually relieved. End it. This was bound to happen anyway"

The audience watched everything in stunned silence.

This fellow was a lunatic. Was he really the leader of the Astral Empire that everyone knew? He was some deranged psycho. Rather than the saintly , amiable person they knew.
